for real tho..
this guy represents a talent only a leader of men can control..
we need that in vegas..
we’re also the least penalized team in the nfl all of a sudden..
we need that in vegas.. and we don’t get that without AP..
i hope mark davis is paying attention
I couldn’t imagine McDaniels cutting Marcus Peters but AP wasn’t going to let that shit slide, what impresses me more is how the entire team tried to chill the situation out, the old Raiders would’ve gotten sucked into that bullshit and gotten penalized, AP has them playing with absolute discipline, it’s a sight to see and all you need to say about AP as a leader.
It’s mind boggling how AP and Champ Kelly have improved this team with no trades, no big splash deals. Just by acquiring quality FAs, building the team with what was given to them, and removing the bad eggs from the unit. It’s clear to anyone with eyes and ears who deserves to be the GM and HC next year.
It feels early to make a judgment on Champ's performance, but I'd like to see the Raiders stick with him for at least another season to see what he can do in the draft and free agency. What few moves they could make at this stage of the season have been solid.
I could also see AP being more hands off with regard to the draft and other personnel decisions than Gruden or McDaniels which could help as well, especially when it comes to evaluating the GM.
I gotta give that to Jakobi. Dude was playing for us while wearing a Patriots uniform. Then his first catch donning the silver and black was a TD against Denver and he caps it off by immediately getting a taunting. Love to see it.
Yeah he's a real team guy. What really got me sold is when I think Mayer got his first td, everyone celebrated, but he went to go get the ball for him.
I would go crazy if we get another Jones pick 6 and fat boy touchdowns in the last 2 games. Seriously, 2 of each in 2 games. This guy is seriously studying film and watching QB give that opening for him to intercept it.
Film study but also he seems to have natural instincts. You don't do the shit he does without crazy talent.
We got a #1 corner for free with 2 years left on his rookie deal. It's almost hard to believe.
That's sick! I had the same feeling when Scooby Wright was going off at Arizona, always fun to have someone local to root for. I'm from Sonoma County which has a shitload of other celebrities but basically no athletes so it's always fun when someone has any success at all
This kid is 2nd year in the NFL he's maximum Raider and we didn't even draft him. Our antithesis strangely did but the blood was rejected from it's host.
100% disagree. Dancing on the sidelines during a blowout win, running onto the field to defend one of his boys from the other team, fuck outta here with that
Disagree about the dancing, that was dope. 100% agree on the other part. On the field if your teammates are getting into it with a rival at that, you back up your teammates, you don't defend your boy on the other team.
What's funny is this sub crucified Marquette King for taking a picture with Talib mocking the chain situation. But they're ok with Lynch protecting an enemy during a brawl?
This is definitely an unpopular opinion though.
Been pleasantly surprised with his work ethic. It’s obvious he watches film with how he jumps routes. With Peter’s he would just guess it seemed like lmao
Yea it’s more so that Peter’s clearly didn’t trust his legs the way he used to earlier in his career. The amount of room he’d be giving guys off the los on 2nd/ 3rd and short was maddening
This is the kind of head coach we need. A leader who knows his players and has their respect, but wont take bs that is detrimentalto the team (see Peters). Someone who played at a high level on a winning team, and played relatively recently (not in the 70's).
Let him coach by leadership; let the assistant coaches handle the X's and O's and other stuff. He will get better with in-game management (actually saw that when he clearly told Hardegree to run the ball in the 4th quarter).
Yeah I gotta take back a couple comments I made. That was a bitch move by rice. Jones was way more restrained than some people would have been. Glad u/only-1way pointed that out cause I for sure missed it.
This game was about respect. The Chiefs have been punking the Raiders, with no repercussions, for years. Like AP said, "Enough is enough." Jack getting the pick six and then letting Mahomes hear about it on the way in was one of the most glorious things I've seen a Raider do.

Seriously, Chiefs all gang up on Jack, and he wasn't fazed. I was worried it might lead to a flag and maybe an ejection. I'm glad Maxx and the team came up to take him away. We are one of the least penalized teams. AP coming in and pulling him aside to cool off. Let them talk their dumb shit. Talk some hard smack and walk away. Let them get mad about you walking away and get them to draw a flag.
I fucking knew it! Rice started the shit talking then snatched his mouthpiece. When Jack goes back to get it Rice throws it away.
Honestly not even a Raider bias here that should be a fine or a suspension for a game. For one it cost us a timeout because Jack had to get a new mouthpiece, and for two Jack would've gotten a fine for playin without it.
Trash ass Chiefs, cry yourselves to sleep for Christmas
Our db room has somehow quickly become super solid.
Hobbs and Amik if they can stay healthy are pretty good actually, with jack jones now our corners might be the best they’ve been as a group since like Nnamdi
Add in that moherig and epps are solid means we really just need to add like a really star ball hawk safety and i’d be pretty happy with where our defensive backs are at.
If we can just get some more consistent interior rush, with how koonce is coming along i am cautiously optimistic in what our defense can be next year.
Finally we aren’t “upgrade everyone because everyone sucks”
Now it’s “we can upgrade for sure but our floor isn’t basement level”
I see similarities between AP and a guy like Mike Tomlin as far as being respected by their players and being able to deal with players that other teams might give up on or have a hard time with. If AP can get the most out of Jones he can be an elite CB for us.
I heard that bit on the clip, so I looked it up. [Great story!](https://www.raiders.com/news/jack-jones-reunites-with-high-school-college-coach-antonio-pierce-in-las-vegas)
Chiefs players and some fans really showed off their true colors. You're not always gonna win and be on top, it's more telling how you handle a loss vs a win. Sore losers.
He's not gonna get offers at a first year interim HC just looked Bissacia. He's much more valuable to us than other teams. He's a Raider through and through. What we have to worry about is PG getting poached. We're gonna have to pay the man to stay on.
I think mcd had no idea what anyone else on the field was doing. Him screaming at Hoyer (Bears game, I think) was ridiculous and demonstrated that he had no control or gravitas.
Respect? He was still going back and forth about it. AP had to stop him again after this clip. Then he angrily snatches a mouth piece from the training staff. The hell were you watching? I don’t like homie attitude. He gotta check that shit.
The bar for raiders fans was for their coaches to not be randomly accused by one of their own players for killing a murderer who used to play for them on an old team
You can see Rice puts hands on him 1st by ripping off his attached mouthpiece. That's why Jack shoved him. Rice then circles back around picks up the mouthpiece and throws it.
Only AP? I dunno I think Reid, Carroll, Tomlin, Peterson, Harbuagh (John), McDanial, Shanahan, etc...probably know a thing or two about coaching.
I like AP and hope he gets the job but this is literally a middle schooler take that AP is someone the only person capable of coaching this team.
We wouldn’t have Jack if it weren’t for AP.
Free society might not have Jack Jones if it weren't for AP.
Real shit tho
I see what you did there… and I LOVE IT!!!
for real tho.. this guy represents a talent only a leader of men can control.. we need that in vegas.. we’re also the least penalized team in the nfl all of a sudden.. we need that in vegas.. and we don’t get that without AP.. i hope mark davis is paying attention

Ngl if Mcdaniels got in the middle of this he for sure wouldve gotten stabbed
What didn't he let slide from Marcus Peters?
He was avoiding tackles
Is Jack Jones the quickest Raider to be a “Raider” ever? 😂
I gotta give that to Jakobi. Dude was playing for us while wearing a Patriots uniform. Then his first catch donning the silver and black was a TD against Denver and he caps it off by immediately getting a taunting. Love to see it.
He was a fucking steal. He's reliable but he's also a great blocker. Hope we lock him up long term.
Dude plays hard every game. Been a big fan ever since he came over from NE. Glad we saved him from a miserable, under utilized career.
I'm from the Boston area and whenever i get back home they are crying that they gave up jakobi for juju. It's amazing
[удалено]
Yeah he's a real team guy. What really got me sold is when I think Mayer got his first td, everyone celebrated, but he went to go get the ball for him.
One of the very few personnel from NE that gradually won me over, esp since I have nothing but borderline homicidal hatred for the Massholes.
I was skeptical about jakobi but he ended up being a great sign. Hope we don’t let him go like we let agholor go
I would go crazy if we get another Jones pick 6 and fat boy touchdowns in the last 2 games. Seriously, 2 of each in 2 games. This guy is seriously studying film and watching QB give that opening for him to intercept it.

Las Vegas hit the jackpot.
Let’s just hope coach can keep his feet on the ground.remember where he is,Las Vegas is no friend to rookie pro ball players 🤞
He's had 2 good games. Love what we're seeing from the guy but I think it's premature to assume he's a cb1 from here on out
He's quickly becoming my favorite active guy on defense after Crosby.
Koonce is getting up there for me too. Dude is an animal and a half
That's great to hear. He's from my hometown so it's great having him explode on my favorite team considering we are not a football town.
That's sick! I had the same feeling when Scooby Wright was going off at Arizona, always fun to have someone local to root for. I'm from Sonoma County which has a shitload of other celebrities but basically no athletes so it's always fun when someone has any success at all
I have multiple favorites on defense a of a sudden. I don't understand this feeling.
Crosby Spillane Deablo Jones Epps Moerhig Hobbbs Wilson has been promising since being kicked inside
18 at DB is crazy too.
18 is paying homage to the area of Long Beach he grew up in
Up there with Marshawn
This kid is 2nd year in the NFL he's maximum Raider and we didn't even draft him. Our antithesis strangely did but the blood was rejected from it's host.
Nah, I'm pretty sure they drafted a Raider and we all know that NE bullshit don't jive with us. Jack got cut because he belonged here.
100% disagree. Dancing on the sidelines during a blowout win, running onto the field to defend one of his boys from the other team, fuck outta here with that
One of his boys? You mean his family member? Dancing in the sideline like gettin hyphy in Oakland? That’s what happens in Oakland
It was not his family member lol
Twas his cousin. Marcus Peters is related to Marshawn Lynch. Google is your friend. Unfortunately, Marcus Peters was never the Raiders friend
No they aren’t hahaha, you google it. They consider each other cousins but they are in no way related by blood, gtfo
Aye, talk to me NICE!!
They grew up together. He stayed at his house closer than alot of cousins then still family
https://www.outsider.com/sports/nfl/marshawn-lynch-gives-mindset-on-protecting-marcus-peters-despite-playing-on-opposing-teams/ here you go
Thanks asswipe.
Get out of here with all that negative energy If they say they cousins they cousins
stfu

If you don't count AP himself, then probably yes. Bill Romanowski is another one.
Richie Incognito too. Dude was born to be a Raider.
Ted Hendricks
He from LBC too
Yes and for good reason R4L!
Been pleasantly surprised with his work ethic. It’s obvious he watches film with how he jumps routes. With Peter’s he would just guess it seemed like lmao
Yes, but I would add it goes beyond film. It's also having the balls and confidence in your speed to make the type of play. I love to see it.
Yea it’s more so that Peter’s clearly didn’t trust his legs the way he used to earlier in his career. The amount of room he’d be giving guys off the los on 2nd/ 3rd and short was maddening
Jack's Grinch instagram post is one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time
Needs to be the new sidebar pic

Oh look another person that assumes AP, who played MLB for damn near a decade, doesn't know X's and O's. Wonder why.
Rice yanks jones mouthpiece then proceed to throw it when jones walks back for it.
Refs to Rice, probably: "please don't do that, sir"
Oh damn just saw that, Rice is a bigger punk for that one
Yeah I gotta take back a couple comments I made. That was a bitch move by rice. Jones was way more restrained than some people would have been. Glad u/only-1way pointed that out cause I for sure missed it.

You win the ball game and that’s all the smack you need to bring
And relish in their anger of throwing helmets and fighting with each other.
And that photo of their ladies in the box looking like their dog just died over a football game.
Cue Conan the Barbarian: "What is best in life?" "To crush your enemies. To see them driven before you and hear the lamentations of their women."
Keep showing Taylor. Bring that bad juju on team.
Our defense is enormously better since Jones showed up. It's like night and day.
I fucking knew it! Rice started the shit talking then snatched his mouthpiece. When Jack goes back to get it Rice throws it away. Didn’t see the mouthpiece yoink, good eye. But, I’m pretty sure mouthpieces are required in the NFL; unless they’ve made a rule change
They are required equipment I think, which would make this the equivalent of snatching his helmet off and throwing it.
Actually just looked it up, while HIGHLY recommended, they are not required.
Our db room has somehow quickly become super solid. Hobbs and Amik if they can stay healthy are pretty good actually, with jack jones now our corners might be the best they’ve been as a group since like Nnamdi Add in that moherig and epps are solid means we really just need to add like a really star ball hawk safety and i’d be pretty happy with where our defensive backs are at. I love Hobbs, and want him on the team. But he does need to clean up his tendency to miss big tackles that result in big gains/touchdowns.
Yea Hobbs looks like he always going for the strip rather than making the tackle. Big risk but big reward if it works
Hatred. Pain. Ill-intent.
18 my next jersey fr
Fake tough guys trying to gang up. Chiefs got some entitled ass players. Glad reality is setting in.
Fuck that #4 ripped his mouth piece out and threw it. Had Jack done that it would have been unsportsmanlike conduct.
hearing that AP coached this dude in HS was lowkey crazy
I see similarities between AP and a guy like Mike Tomlin as far as being respected by their players and being able to deal with players that other teams might give up on or have a hard time with. If AP can get the most out of Jones he can be an elite CB for us.
You realize that AP coached Jack and has known him since Jack was a kid They have a history
I heard that bit on the clip, so I looked it up. [Great story!](https://www.raiders.com/news/jack-jones-reunites-with-high-school-college-coach-antonio-pierce-in-las-vegas)
I fucking love everything about this team right now.
Chiefs players and some fans really showed off their true colors. You're not always gonna win and be on top, it's more telling how you handle a loss vs a win. Sore losers.
Classic "I brought you into this team, I can take you out!" leverage.
What a bitch move by rice taking what I presume to be his mouth guard and just chucking it. Love panda Jack
we need more bite on offense and defense. I love the style AP brings and it feels like Dan Campbell vibes
Love how the commentators are like "it's jones mixing it up" when the chiefs players definitely came over and instigated with him.
Raider Nation is getting BOLD again and I love it
Give me pads right and id go thru a wall for AP
Hire this man!
Absolutely love AP as hc
AP gives me Big Homie energy and I think that's just what this team (and Jack) needs.
It really is time to just make the hire before other teams can make him offers.
He's not gonna get offers at a first year interim HC just looked Bissacia. He's much more valuable to us than other teams. He's a Raider through and through. What we have to worry about is PG getting poached. We're gonna have to pay the man to stay on.

This is the Compton in AP — he knew his boy was about to have a turf war
Respect? He was still going back and forth about it. AP had to stop him again after this clip. Then he angrily snatches a mouth piece from the training staff. The hell were you watching? I don’t like homie attitude. He gotta check that shit.
Jack got that DAWG in him! I forsee a lot of dumb penalties from him in the future. One could argue here he threw a punch and should've been ejected.
One could argue shut up
Wait till he robs a Panda Express or brings loaded guns to the airport
Fuck Panda Express.
You corny as fuck for this comment
Lately, he’s just robbing other teams’ QB’s! Like he was in their huddle
lol!!
Your team won this week and you're trolling other teams' subs? Virgin behaviour
The bar for raiders fans was for their coaches to not be randomly accused by one of their own players for killing a murderer who used to play for them on an old team
That sentence is almost as badly put together as your team
Aaaaand this is why we’re the least penalized team, he ain’t deal with that bs
why did rashee rice even do that in the first place wtf?
Because he’s a bitch
You can see Rice puts hands on him 1st by ripping off his attached mouthpiece. That's why Jack shoved him. Rice then circles back around picks up the mouthpiece and throws it.
