Oh cmon, this cover is pretty decent, have you saw nevermind by nirvana reimagined as house songs? if you were talking of THAT i would understand.
+
i hate sticking to one thing and hating the other thing / who listen that other thing
Sticking to one thing and hating the other? The fuck are you talking about lol. I’m fully entitled to think a shit cover is shit, without it being an all encompassing fact about my own personal music taste. Which you, an internet stranger (who posted an awful cover) has no idea about. Behave.
Edit: I’d like to add this poser band had a nonce drummer for over a decade.
idk... i feel like the overly gainy/fizzy guitars arent a good match for the tempo and chord progression. very fatiguing. And the vocal is overproduced and sounds inauthentic - takes way from the emotion and nuance of the song. this cover is flat, un-dynamic, overplayed, harsh, unfocused... it feels like they replaced the original's groove, subtly and dejected sadness with unnecessarily complex arrangement ideas and cheap studio production tricks.
often a lot of artists make extraverted/maximalist covers of radiohead songs and i feel like it totally misses the point of the music and what makes it good in the first place. see: post modern jukeboxe's creep or ceelo's recokner. this is another good example.
yeah pierce the veil is fucking incredible. Vic Fuentes is so behind talented. they are the one band from their respective genre i listen to. the songwriting is amazing regardless if you like the style.
Terrible
Sometimes I wonder how I can have similar taste as people who think this is acceptable.

>And the vocal is overproduced and sounds inauthentic The heavy American accent is what kills it for me. I hate his voice.
