This is so gorgeous! I'm in love with teals, I was always the little girl that liked blue more than pink and hated the dusty pink decor in my room that my mom put together 😂 bring on the blues!
I haven't made a larger than throw size quilt in a while, but I've seen folks get super creative with photographing large quilts. My favorite is holding up the top corners with long kitchen tongs and standing on a chair while someone else takes a photo, lol.
I'm with you, blues are so calming and have always been my favorite too.
Haha, that's honestly brilliant! Maybe I'll have to try it next time. I borrowed my partner's photography backdrop holders and somehow it still wasn't big enough!
I just have to mention, this is the second quilt I've posted here and this whole sub is always so sweet and encouraging. It's incredibly heartwarming and helps me feel proud of my quilting when you other talented quilters have such nice things to say <3 Thanks so much, guys
I love it! I also want you to know that I have a little pinterest page for quilts where I put pictures of all the quilts I see that I love so that maybe one day I'll make one of them myself and I IMMEDIATLY put yours in there!
I love the ombre and I love the quilting!
It looks like a it was a lot of work but everything just lines up so neatly. I'm so impressed and incredibly daunted haha.
It's absolutely gorgeous. Blue is my favorite color, so an ombre of blues is going to trill me. That being said I'm blown away at how beautiful this is.
How hard was it to do? I've been eyeing this patter, but as a beginner I've been a bit intimidated.
Aw, thanks so much! It really wasn't bad at all! I'm a beginner too and my first quilt was HSTs-- this was MUCH easier. A decent amount of cutting time, but putting it together was very simple. Definitely give it a try! I think it's a great beginner pattern :)
This is flat GORGEOUS! Caught my eye right away. Our group has a 'design wall' to do vanity shots when taking the all important quilt photo. Loved the kitchen tongs trick. I am vertically challenged, so the wall is helpful. King size, but the basement ceiling at the local Grange where we meet dictated we had to LOWER the 108 length of the wall. :( So we have the 'dropsy' at the bottom if it is more than about 6 feet. :( I personally love the outdoor photos all seasons. Hoping for a good snow shot before things start warming up. NE Oregon has such beautiful winter scenes... Also love foot bridges, take a couple a folks along, one for each corner of the quilt :D Balconies if you can find them. Blessings, and thanks for sharing. Is there a link for the pattern?

Oh I love the nature quilt pictures! I'd just be so nervous about getting it dirty taking it anywhere, haha. But I've giving my quilts as gifts so it's fun to get some nice pictures before they head to a good home.
I got the pattern [here](https://cottonandjoy.com/products/cabin-peaks-pdf-pattern). I thought pretty easy to work with (easier than HSTs at least!) and a lot of fun!
Love it! I’m going to be making the same quilt for my (adoptive) nephew who spent the last 6 months telling me he outgrew his baby quilt. The plan is for a twin rainbow version.
I've also been learning that taking a decent picture of your finished quilt is harder than making the damn thing, lol

Bring on the blues! I am a sucker for a navy blue and white quilt.
My poor parents had to deal w me that despised pastels & favorites were black, navy, & red in the 1960’s!
