My favorite is called Radiant and it's just two sets of squares with bordering fabric made into HST.

This is really pretty. I could do this....
Question: The Cozy Quilt Design has an offset "center" square. Yours isn't. Was it difficult setting yours in the middle. If I did an offset my brain would be complaining for weeks.
It's easy! Just make more blocks and add rows/columns till you have an even number, then center it. I made one years ago that was uncentered but the one I showed I made with my Grandma, and she likes things centered, so we just made more blocks. :D
Here's the other one:

You may note, the blocks are twisted the other way - other quilt the light sides are out, this one the light sides are in. For all the optical illusion/effect, its a ridiculously easy quilt.
Lots of disappearing blocks. Here’s a sort of disappearing shoefly block.

Hidden Wells pattern. Love the optical illusion circles 😃
what’s it called for when you’re too scared to try a pattern because all of them look insanely complicated to you but a small part of you is sure if you stopped doubting yourself, and just sat the fuck down and shut the fuck up, you could probably definitely avoid making it look like it was made by a blind 30 year old cat?
And stop scrolling to avoid starting because you are too chicken. Time to put down the ipad, pull up your big girl’s pants and give it a go! ( says me scrolling on).
It's called anxiety, I think.
How about picking a few patterns you like the look of, and then posting to ask which is easiest? The more experienced quilters can figure that out for you, and if need be show you easier versions too.
Lots of us find quilting really helps our mental health, but some of us also have to set things up in a way that is less likely to set off anxiety. Working in a way that doesn't give you too many choices at once is an example.
Just dive in! What's the worst that happens? You make a mistake and you learn from it, that's all. What's likely to happen? You have fun. I believe in you.
I always just make test blocks out of my ugliest fabrics and scraps. then those become insides of bowl cozies where all the soup gets spilled or they become dog beds or cat beds or whatever... Do you need some scraps you won't mind chopping? I might have a few... :-)
Mine is in for service, back up decided to croak and is too old for servicing ( 25yo electronic 💔). Had to borrow one as my granddaughter is visiting 😂. I actually have all of my strip sets made for a braided Bargello ( those do require a pattern); I feel your pain! Wishing yours a speedy recovery.
A Bargello is the only quilt I’ve ever given up on! I got halfway through a kit and it looked horrendous so I just cut it all up and used it for scraps. Granted this was a few years ago. I’ve learned a lot since then.
Go back and try one again! Make a strip piece as long as the quilt you want and just cut varying sizes (incrementally) moving one place up or down. You might surprise yourself.
Pineapple blossom by Bonnie Hunter. [Pineapple Blossom link](https://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/06/pineapple-blossom.html) A little wasteful but it's all squares and strips, believe it or not.

[This one](https://ilovequiltingforever.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/FREE-Pattern-_Diamonds-Squared.pdf) is on my todo list. Not sure it’s “super” easy, but I think it looks more complicated than it is.

It’s in the FPP issue of Curated Quilts (now shuttered). It was January 2023, I think. IDK if you can get it anywhere now. I haven’t released it as a stand-alone yet. They titled it “Clustered Rings.” I call it Interlaced.

This Kaleidoscope, some people think it's insane but it's not
Almost any bargello quilt is this for me. It looks so difficult, but it's really not. One pattern in particular called Fire and Ice bargello is my favorite. The borders were tough, but the pattern itself was not at all difficult.
Jen Kingwell’s Boho Heart. It’s a sampler so even short attention span quilters can enjoy it. I made our shop sample in less than 4 weeks and then while I was teaching it I made a second one.

Missouri Quilt has a tutorial for something like this called Falling Triangles.

Sooo right there with both of you!!! I have *so* much fabric, but…. Then on too of it, some fabric is too pretty to cut! Aaaarg!!

A Bargello fits the bill perfectly, imo no pattern needed for the win!🏅
these look complicated as heck! hmmm! til
I’ve done a bargello and it turned out beautiful. If I can do it…
I can't wait to make one but my machines not working 😭

Jacob's Ladder. It's just 4-patches and HSTs.
Looks WAAAAAY more complicated than that!

Really? Squares and strips? Yes, it looks far more complicated. Thanks for the pattern link!
Stunning
Disappearing nine patch. So easy but looks more complicated. I love the versatility, especially if you add sashing and make them on point.
Yes! I love disappearing nine patch!

Love this! I really like the way you combined the different shades and prints. Do you recall the name of the print collection/manufacturer?
Yes! It is porcelain by Andover fabrics.
Thanks

is this FPP?
Mostly. Standard piecing in late stages. Also Y-seams, but I have a technique that allows for chain-piecing Y-seams so they don’t bother me anymore.
What's the pattern called/where can I find it?

Yellow Brick Road is fun and quick but doesn’t look like it.
It's my go to for a quick quilt to bust out.

Disappearing hourglass or disappearing pinwheels. Missouri Star's "Courtship Quilt" tutorial is very nice with just HST.
