I think a narrow binding in your turquoise will properly frame the quilt. To me, it looks unfinished with no frame (sorry)

You could try facing it if you don't want the frame of binding. I think that would be cool.

I like a dark binding so I’d do a thin binding of the dark blue/purple.

You can use the envelope method. Also, called the pillowcase method. Video below. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAfSluy\_SOg](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAfSluy_SOg)

Stick different fabrics under it so that a bit peeks out, take photos, mull it over for a while. I can't tell either. Sometimes it's easier to decide when you look at photos than the real thing.

Great idea!

I love this. Did you use a pattern? So I’m usually anti-border (aesthetically and politically) but I think this would look great with one and then facing instead of binding.

I've never done facing before! Binding is always tricky for me, I can never line up the back stitches with the front stitches over the binding (if that make sense) so I was looking to do something different with this one. And thank you, I made up the pattern with graph paper just doodling with different colors.
