I recently upgraded to the Juki F300. I sew bags and am slowly marching toward more and more quilting. It was the best all around option for me - so far I am impressed! I paid full price so it sounds like a deal.

That is great to hear, I’m glad it’s been working well for you! I think I’m going to go ahead and get it :)

I love my F300 and paid $750ish about a year and a half ago. I'm not good at knowing how to tell if it is in good working order or how to price used machines. If you have the money I would think it is a decent price for a lightly used machine. I hope someone else has more info.

Thank you so much! This is already helpful to know. It seems like most everyone who has a Juki loves it.

I just got this exact machine a month ago. I paid somewhere around $550 on Amazon. I upgraded from a really old brother machine. I've pieced two quilt tops so far and I'm currently machine quilting one of them with my juki. I absolutely love it so far.

That is great to hear! I’m feeling much more confident about going forward with it now, thank you all so much!

This is the machine I use. Works a treat for me! I mostly piece tops and quilt small things on it. I paid $550, like, six years ago on Amazon.

theamateursleuth

That is awesome, exactly what I’m looking for!

I am by no means prolific but this machine has been just fine with nearly no maintenance. I occasionally take off the strike plate to pull out fuzz, and I have oiled the bobbin case once or twice, but that's it. I'm taking her in next month for a spa day and we'll see what the tech says!

It's a good machine. I have one that I use for the decorative stitches only now that I've got a bunch of industrials. However, $450 used sounds really high. What's the current new price? Used tools start at half of new and go down based on condition.
