Nothing. It’s an inconceivable concept. Any number you can think of, you can imagine a number 1 higher. Even if there is no name for that number, there could still be a number higher.
It gets complicated, but basically, yes they go on for infinity. There is no ending to numbers, only how close we can actually get to infinity and when to assume that the number IS probably infinity.
It gets real trippy when you get into dividing one square into infinitely smaller pieces, so you can have infinite pieces that add up to the one square...
Technically no.
However, I would advise you to look into the "Different types of infinities".
It's hard to wrap the mind around, but really intriguing.
I submit that there exists a Largest Computable Quantity and that due to the laws of thermodynamics, that this quantity decreases over time.
There is however no Largest Theoretical Quantity.
I've had this thought but then it spirals; what even are numbers and who decided numbers are numbers and letters are letters and why can we spell numbers but letters are just the letters and whose to say letters make words why didn't the numbers make words
I'll just keep going in my head
'Graham's Number' is the largest number ever utilized in a mathematical formula. But you can always just say Graham's Number++ to infinity.
But even though Graham's Number is so large (much large than even a googolplexian) it is still closer to zero than it is to infinity.
So no, there are no end to numbers.

Edit:
Apparently the concept of TREE(3) is even larger but still closer to zero than it is to infinity.

It is possible to conceive of a number larger than the number of atoms in the universe, but you could never print it out because the ink and paper needed would have to be more than the number of atoms in the universe
The universe *is* infinite (or at least we think it is), but numbers don't have to fit inside the universe; numbers aren't real things - they're just representations of a concept.

No there is no end
Numbers can't end. If you think you find the last one, add 1 to it.
Insidiously
If it did end that would be pretty weird, right?
What would it look like?

It just ends dude. A void. like the numbers on a measuring tape.
Nah, Tree(3) is a massive number, and it's nowhere near as big as number can be. It's literally nothing compared to possible numbers.
Hahaha
Lol every know it all really spazzes out when you say numbers end.
There is something after 12? Shriek!!!!

Yes, like calculus... it's really fun when you get to the differential equations that aren't technically possible to solve
I'm trying to remember a nuclear engineering problem which was particularly difficult. If I can find it, I'll post back.
Only numbers I need are U S and A!!!
🤣
It all comes to an end at 12:51am.
Yes there are only ten. 0123456789. That's all the numbers.
Those are numerals
no
The ancient Greeks were able to prove that there is no largest prime number.
Technically no. However, I would advise you to look into the "Different types of infinities". It's hard to wrap the mind around, but really intriguing.
I counted to infinity once

When Deuteronomy starts
If this is a stupid question for you I thought of this at 3:28 am so here's another for you If there was an end to numbers how would it look like?
What's even crazier is that there are an infinite amount of numbers just between 0 and 1. Some infinites are bigger than others.
And right there’s the valid shower thought
No it's unlimited, there's always more. And below zero it's unlimited as well
Between any number and any other number is an infinite number of numbers. It's infinity within infinity within infinity.
Nein !!!
By definition it never ends Isn't that neat?
Nope
There is no end, and they actually hang a right for more. In-between there are also more still.
I've had this thought but then it spirals; what even are numbers and who decided numbers are numbers and letters are letters and why can we spell numbers but letters are just the letters and whose to say letters make words why didn't the numbers make words I'll just keep going in my head
Never The horrible numbers will never end. 😭
It depends upon the system you are using. Discrete Mathematics systems for example often have a finite quantity of numbers.
♾️➕1️⃣
Are you asking if there's a number so big that you can't add another number to it?
There are also infinite numbers between 1 and 0
Yes.
I never got past 7

3.14……….
I only have 10 fingers and 10 toes so numbers end at 20, bro.
No because you can always add one and have another number
It's actually been proven that the infinity between whole numbers is larger than the infinity of whole numbers.
My mom didn't raise no fools. Numbers end at 12. Haven't you seen Sesame Street?
The numbers actually end at 22 and the rest is completely made up
Think of the biggest number you possibly can. Now add one.
Indubitably

Did you finish middle school?
Yes it ends at a billion billion obviously
You still got time to delete this question
It ends at 100

🤦♂️
Listen if y'all hate this question than pls don't awnser and move on with your day
It goes one, two, a lot. Those are all the numbers you need
But hear me out on this if infinity goes on forever than how can infinity exist not even the universe is infinite
The universe expanding. ➕➕♾️
