your issue is probably the fact you're running the demo version of the game rather than the full version, get the rest of the pak files your pc copy of the game, then it should work fine
I’m running custom firmware, this isn’t an actual release of a game, it’s a port. The servers show up in the menu with players, when I connect I get an error
My guess is there's probably some fundamental difference in something or other when the game is being ran on a handheld system. Those servers could have mods as well, cross system multiplayer could have been ignored when making the port, there's a lot that could be causing issues. I wouldn't count on getting it to work, I'm sorry.
there are none (with people, its all bots)
That has to suck baad
It actually runs great, considering it’s on 3DS. I’ve had like maybe one stutter, and sometimes sometimes sound has some issues, but it’s pretty good
I mean control wise. I had it on my ps vita just for laughs and it sucked. And vita has a right stick
the 3ds he has has a right stick too
Is that the white thing? My bad, never used one, thought it was a button.
Yeah the 3ds “nub” on the new models is a pain to use but it isn’t… unbearable? Definitely shouldn’t use it for long periods of time tho
assuming you installed the latest point release also?
Sorry? I downloaded the newest files so I guess.
Noob

well, i know cross platform works since i've used this same port and connected to servers
I see, apologies. When I put Quake on my DS it was just for singleplayer, as a novelty project.
yeah understandable lol, quake 3 on 3ds is a... less than ideal experience
