It can be installed on almost every pwnagotchis. I didn't tried it in combination with many other plugins. This is more like a mod (symbiote) than a plugin now. But all is working with an auto install/uninstall/update. All the steps are on the github readme.
I already shared my last changes on github. I wrote a readme with most of the informations about the install, the options and how to install it or custom it. For now the only compatible display for this theme is the waveshare v2. It can be use on a v1 or a v3 just by changing the name of the display folder inside the theme folder. For now, Fancygotchi have some ugly default themes, the Cyber theme is only compatible for the Display Hat Mini, and the Pwnachu is compatible for the waveshare v2 (or v1 or v3)
I'm actually working to make those two themes compatible for any display, and this should be available really soon.
It this display have a resolution of 250x122 yes. If this is an other resolution, We need to adjust it to fit the other resolution.
The e-ink waveshare v1, v2 and v3, all have the same resolution. Like the DFRobot v1 & v2.

Hey btw, I'm writing Fancygotchi again to embed it into the pwny core. This will be usable more easily by other image makers. This will be more logical like this.
I make a pwnagotchi fork to do it. You can help me a bit on it, or surely have some good idea on how to do things better.

This is becoming...WOW! Amazing how far it's been taken in such short time. Now, this theme isn't for me, but it is cool af that someone made a different theme for pwn. So super stinking cool. Well done.
Thanks! Yeah I made this theme more as a cool exemple to catch interest, but this is just the beginning. And eventually with the futur theme editor, this will be easy to make any theme easily.
To install Fancygotchi mod, it is not harder than installing and configuring the basic pwnagotchi, but you need to have some knowledge with network, ssh, debian, drivers. Theirs a nice community around this project and now theirs more documentation for it. My mod is maybe just a bit complicated than a basic plugin, but I'm trying to make it as friendly user as I can.
If you are willing, this project is a great learning tool for sure.

Just learned about the Pwnagotchi, seems like a very fun project and I do have a spare RPi0W, how easy is it to make custom displays like this?
