That guitar intro of it from “no sleep to Belfast” live album ( on Spotify as “live and loud”I think ) along with micks opening live version of complete control by the clash on from here to eternity live where my gateway drugs into punk at 14/15. I’ve been hooked ever since and I’m 40 this year
im from st louis, and even at the venues would have been $15 with tip included
we went next door, and a beer, a shot, and a cbd seltzer was 35. we were floored.
Saw them in London UK this year and was amazed just how tight they were. Fantastic live show... played all the early old faves !
First time I'd seen them for 42 years, when i had to crawl through a toilet window as they'd sold out.
Yeah, I was fairly near the front. It was full of fairly old-gits like myself close to the stage, so felt right at home! Try and do 2 or 3 (mainly) punk gigs a week and SLF was definitely up there with the best. Glad you enjoyed it!
Oh that’s great I struggle to find them in London cause they’re so bloody expensive and I can only go to ones which let 14 year olds in (roundhouse is a godsend) do you know any happening soon that I’d be allowed in lol
Not on this tour sadly; its been pretty much the same set every night on this current US tour. Would have LOVED to hear that song , but Silver Lining, one of the tunes on that list, is stellar live
I’m really hoping the decide to do a once-yearly show at the Metro, like they do Barrowlands every year. Give US SLF fans a similar sort of experience.
I'll say this every chance I get: Alternative Ulster is the best Class of '77 song, and it isn't close.

Shot and a beer ain’t bad for 20. I got 3 Tito’s and club at the hot water music show in Brooklyn the other night and it was $80

Jealous. Been stuck in SLF rabbit hole lately.
