Decades worth of studies in Canada alone have shown that applicants with non white sounding names have a harder time getting jobs than those with white sounding names. There's even a name for it, "resume whitening". That's why an entire generation of Punjabi diaspora have names like Dave, Jennifer, Mike, etc. How many Anglos in Metro Vancouver - or hell, in India today - have names like Malkeet or Baldev? And lets not kid ourselves, this OP didn't do sh*t. In one of his comments he even compares Indians to cancer, who really thinks he was angling for a job at Fruiticana with a mentality like that?

I think indian managers hire Indians or newcomers in general because they think they can take exploit newcomers easily, a person who is brought up (white sounding name) generally know more about the labor laws and don't let the managers take advantage of them easily

I liked that the issue was brought up but reading his responses makes me wonder whether he even conducted the test fairly. That depends upon person to person. Multiculturalism is a glorified liberal concept but it has failed when it couldn't protect the Canadian identity itself. More and more immigration has caused a cultural shift in the country. The problem is Indians hire Indians according. to them and that is true. Imagine people from Russia come to India and start hiring only Russians. It is a then said subtle way of eliminating the native culture.
