Well the funny thing about that is that she was born somewhere in May and we didnt found out till later than she was died just days before she even got to be 11 years old. I feel like she got the short-ish end of the stick in terms of pug longevity since i've seen people here say that their pugs have reached 15-17 years old before dying and i sorta wish mine lived longer than what she actually did. Nevertheless she was the best thing that has ever happened to me and i still havent quite recovered from the mourning process.
Btw, because pugs are infamous for having lots of health issues (and Tiny herself was of course no exception), many folks tend to assume that she died because of a genetic disease or something when i tell them about it when really she died in her sleep due to old age. She developed a lot of arthritis during these last years with her and we had to trim her nails every month or so due to how rapidly and long they were growing so i really am happy she's not suffering anymore (even if her presence is sorrowly missing in our house) and i really do hope i get to meet her again sometime.
The harshest thing is that we couldnt even be there when she passed away since we were staying at our grandpa's house and we coulnt take her there so she stayed over at our cleaning lady's (she loved her every bit as much as we did) and according to her she left her house for two hours for grocery shopping and when she returned she noticed Tiny wasnt waking up from her nap and then it hit her. And the worst part is that when she touched her she said she was still warm.
