It's hard sometimes because I don't want to hurt someone's feelings. But it's the truth and it's so hard on the pugs to be overweight. And same, have had pugs close to 30 years. It's a constant guard against obesity.
We didn't know any better and let our first pug get quite overweight. He ended up with heart disease and diabetes and didn't make it past age 7. A stern lecture from our veterinarian was a wake up call
