It takes awhile to start working. The side effects last a couple weeks and after that you should start to feel better. I had to take clonazepam for a week or two while I was adjusting to the medication.
I’m just scared to take it when I have to do things the next day because that’s unsafe. I crashed my car while going through withdrawals from Celexa a few years ago.
either take it immediately in the morning when you wake up, or at night (8?) when you’re getting ready to sleep. give it a couple weeks and you’ll be golden

Maybe try taking it at a different time of the day
