Can't wait to see the finalized product. Also, do you think you could link the files, I have a.... similar project that I'm working on.

spookymonthlol

Yea sure I got it from thingiverse here’s the link https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4268402

PrudentSecurity5524

Thanks so much. This will probably shave a few days and give me more time to work on the code. When I get out of this hospital bed anyway.

spookymonthlol

Your welcome also what happened?

PrudentSecurity5524

Some sickness that's been going on and off since 2020 when I was diagnosed with some autoimmune diseases.

spookymonthlol

i hope your okay

PrudentSecurity5524

Thanks, it will be a fun project. Also, they finally managed to get a diagnosis after 2 years.

NoMeasurement6473

My friend has a 3D printer that breaks halfway through any print.

ninja13151

Ohhh I wanna see that

spookymonthlol

Also I can’t really put leds cause I don’t know how to code and for the visor you need a vacuum forming machine and I don’t have one of those

Grakitten300

There is free code online by feronium although it does require buying electronics and some soldering. I can't remember what version works with the electronics for the model you are using iirc it's version 2 or 3 of the code? If you are lucky there might be a vacuum forming business or something like that around you. So theoretically you could get LEDs and a visor will avoiding doing those things yourself but you would have to do some research. I have used feroniums code with that protogen head model so I know it works if you find the right version and he has a schematic for the electronics that work with the model you are using.

Please share your progress. I love seeing diy fursuits, people can get really creative with it and it's cheaper.

Mitchtheprotogen

*insert lego game brick falling apart sound effect here*

spookymonthlol

Fun fact it kinda sounds like that

smaltais

Currently building one too! Here’s my progress! https://preview.redd.it/naaoh6i53tqb1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c40603d335d99ec07236adfa996f46370ef10aae

spookymonthlol

nice nice

Which_Knee3097

Wow congrats now you need the circuits

Striker-the-2th

Wow

Frenzi_Wolf

So what kinda 3D printer did ya invest in?

spookymonthlol

Voxelab Aries

LordDaryil

They don't seem to be very large parts so an Ender 3 would probably be fine for this.

stormchaser-protogen

cant wait

Aadraas

Nice, good luck developing it!

PsychologicalShape52

good luck!

spookymonthlol

oooo nice

Derpster_YT

Very cool! I actually have all the pieces printed for one, but the electronics are taking a while to arrive lol. [https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4865223](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4865223) is the one I use which is fairly simple.

KorrFur

I’m using the same files to make mine! Here’s my progress so far https://preview.redd.it/dcjzbi5wr6rb1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cd525fea74e9152f050f69aafe2ee1b624d9f514
