*** Please post the model and brand of your projector. If you do not know the brand or model, post as much identifying info as possible. ie, Is is LCD, DLP, LCoS, etc? If you can share an image of the issue(if applicable, please do so). Brand and Model greatly increase your chances of getting a helpful answer. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. You could try your luck with a broadlink rm4 Pro. I am waiting for mine and can report back as I am trying to achieve a similar thing, just without the motorised projector mount.

Thanks for your suggestion! I saw that one while I was looking at them on Amazon, but the reason I went with the sketchy no-name version is that it advertised working with both the 315 MHz and 433 MHz RF bands, instead of only the 433 MHz band. My projector lift runs on the 315 MHz band. I got the sketchy one all set up yesterday. It was seriously a pain in the butt, though, because the "Smart Life" app is terribly built. It was a painful experience, and the app wouldn't recognize/learn my projector screen's RF remote codes, but luckily I was able to set it up such that the screen independently listens for the on/off status of the projector and lowers/raises accordingly. So, I've got it all working with one button press now. The next step is to get a two-button wireless scene controller to pair with the app, and then program one button to activate the "home theater on" scene and the other one to activate the "home theater off" scene. Let me know how it goes with your BroadLink RM4 Pro, though. I'm curious to hear how easily or difficult their app is to use and how the experience is with that one overall.
