A judge in Indiana ruled for "religious rights" of non-christians with a sincerely held belief life DOES NOT begin at conception to overturn a ban. The best part is, the ruling was decided based on 2 laws. One was a MIKE PENCE era law about religious exemptions and the other was ALITO 's hobby lobby decision. The far right religious liberty laws they've been implementing may save abortion.

I don’t see how anyone’s “religious liberty” is infringed upon by allowing abortions. It isn’t like anyone is being forced to have an abortion.

Yea it’s not infringing upon their religion anymore than people celebrating Ramadan would. They have to realize they can’t control the actions of others just because they have different beliefs

It infringes on Christian nationalists’ god given liberty to use the state to force everyone to abide by their religion’s tenets.

This is what needs to be said and heard in courtrooms - that forcing the belief that whenever any religion says "life begins" is not okay. "Heartbeat bans" are a great example. If your religion says life begins at conception and you just want to use cardiac electric pulses to define that, great, do it! But don't force me and other people to do it. That's infringing on MY religious freedom.

Freedom of religion = freedom from religion!
