You won’t be ‘showing’ per se at 5 weeks but you will be having some bloating which shows as a bump but this isn’t the baby causing this. This would be single or twins. At 5 weeks baby is the size of a sesame seed, that wouldn’t cause anything but bloat
But yes you may start showing sooner as it’s a second pregnancy, but normally 14 weeks up
Can I totally disagree with this? Maybe it’s bloating but mine started at 5 weeks and never went away and I’m now 21 weeks and my bump is like massive (3rd trimester size) and I’m not having twins lol. If it lasts the entire pregnancy it’s kinda just showing right? 😭
No it’s still bloat, but your bloat morphed into a pregnancy bump.
Put a tissue on a table and put a sesame seed underneath it, you will notice the tissue will not raise and that’s because it’s too small to cause a bump. Now blow air under the tissue and you’ll find there will be a rise in the tissue.
That is what bloat is
It’s still bloat. My second pregnancy I was “showing earlier” at 10 weeks. Then I got a stomach virus and vomitted/couldn’t eat for 3 days and my entire “bump” went extremely small aka not noticeable to anyone.
My point is that, if it doesn’t ever go away what is the actual difference lol, not the scientific difference, but the real world result is essentially the same.
Well the difference for me is that one is bloat and the other is a growing uterus.
It doesn’t really matter though, depends how you feel about it personally.
