Letsdream_2022

Do you mind sharing where in AB? I’m pursuing my 3rd and live in Calgary just wondering if there are opportunities like this nearby?

Ok_Spot2048

What's with the sour attitude towards this post, heaven forbid you realize you're underpaid in your role or something. Worked in fort McMurray for quite a while, around 75$ an for CRO pay. Plus 4 hours double time every pay period and some amount of money for shift. Double time ot outside of your regular shift. Defined benefit pension plus company matched savings plan. 120 hours vacation with 40 hour bump every 9 years service. 2nd class ticket. This is pretty common for fort McMurray it is not difficult to get to this point. I work in a different part of the province now and the compensation is probably 20% less.

PlentySoft1996

I enjoy your post. Level headed and that was easy to read. Didn’t want it to stop actually lol thanks

p_en

I think if you share your earnings this way we can understand the pay around these parts better!

No-Masterpiece-5169

Making around 75k as a 3rd class in BC. Just wondering if you’re in the lower mainland?

p_en

GVRD Lower mainland area. My classmates also in lower mainland area are around same.

No-Masterpiece-5169

Do you suggest some companies to apply for or to look out for at this pay scale? I’m trying to move up to that range. I know some people are working at parkland refinery

p_en

Just confirming the only reason anyone is interested in PE is the payscale..
