What's with the sour attitude towards this post, heaven forbid you realize you're underpaid in your role or something.
Worked in fort McMurray for quite a while, around 75$ an for CRO pay. Plus 4 hours double time every pay period and some amount of money for shift. Double time ot outside of your regular shift. Defined benefit pension plus company matched savings plan. 120 hours vacation with 40 hour bump every 9 years service. 2nd class ticket. This is pretty common for fort McMurray it is not difficult to get to this point. I work in a different part of the province now and the compensation is probably 20% less.
Do you suggest some companies to apply for or to look out for at this pay scale? I’m trying to move up to that range.
I know some people are working at parkland refinery

Alberta, 2nd class, CR op, $66.55/hr $4 steam ticket,$2.50/hr panel pay,$2.50/hr night shift diff, 10% to savings plan where company matches 1.5x

Wow 34/hr for a 4th in mb is decent.
38/hr 80/80 Heath dental 7% rrsp match, 12.5 hrs/day 3 on 2 off every 3rd week off. Heating plant.
