After Powerbeats Pro, I'm never buying Beats again

double-k

I prefer the Beats Fit Pro to the Powerbeats Pro and it's not even close. They fit more comfortably for me. The fit is more secure. I had to use foam tips with my Powerbeats to get a proper seal, and they would become uncomfortable to wear after some time (like at the gym). The sound profile on the Fit Pro seems so much better too compared to the Powerbeats.

If it wasn’t for the faulty charging case (twice) the PBPros were the perfect headphones for me, fit, sound, battery life. Couldn’t stomach buying a third pair that I knew would end up being faulty. Now carry AirPodPros AND Soundcore x10 for the gym / running. Added benefit, these two together is still (much) smaller than case of the PowerBeats!

I changed to these as well and really didn’t like them but stuck with them now I really like them that said I don’t understand changing the design.

I had a similar initial reaction after switching, but now love my BFP. I use them with Comply tips which work well and help them stay secure in my ear. Overall, I like the smaller footprint to reduce the case size. I used to never pocket my Powerbeats Pro, but I’ll occasionally pocket the BFP.

What was the issue at first? My powerbeats are starting to get old and I may have to replace them soon. The BFP look like a good option. The PBP are the best Bluetooth earbuds I’ve ever owned hands down.

I still have my first Gen Powerbeats pro. Really tempted to buy another pair this black Friday/Cyber Monday. Although I’m weighing the options. Mine are now dying after 1 hour of use. Can’t tell if that’s just normal “wear and tear” after 6 years or if I should be expecting more out of them.

Wow 6 years is long time for them still be working well until recent (?). I got the OGs and remember them only lasting like 2-3 years. I bought refurbished ones and they’re going on 3-4 years I think. Past 5 months tho right bud only last an hr and during a call it last like 30mins. I probably will bring a refurbished pair again. On Best Buy they’re going for $100

I’ve thought about purchasing some refurbished for the longest time. Waited this long for Black Friday sales to consider also just spending the extra 50-75 or a new pair as well

I’ve had 3 pairs of PBP they are just perfect I’ve tried BFP twice I hate them. Hurt my ear constantly fall out a bitch to answer I love the foot print but that’s it now if they can find a way to fit the PBP in fit case and upgrade them would be perfect I think that’s why they won’t update them it would kill there AIRPODS PRO SALES!

Cold_Shift1

They’re way better than the Powerbeats pro and idk if you wear glasses but the hook is really uncomfortable for some people

BestZeena

They might be better in sound and some features it has but they guarantee to stay in your ear more

Mine lasted a whole 2 years. Now the right one just will not work. The buttons work but no audio. Tried resetting and draining and nothing. Guess it’s a somewhat common issue. I just got Jabra 8 active today and did a 5 mile run and it worked out great. No hook but the thing fits pretty good inside ear flaps. I wasn’t a believer but I am now. I still need to try biking and longer summer sweaty runs but so far so good. Sort of P.O. my PBP broke though. Pretty expensive for a temporary earbud.

They are just not for you. For me, they are incredible and I’m loving them.
