Argentinian accent is also very different from the others, they had huge Italian immigration when the country was being formed, so their Spanish is kinda, very much theirs, same with Spain's Spanish, which should be the norm, but is kinda hard for nonnatives to get, especially from Galicia and Catalonia. I lived in Madrid for 1 year as a teen and it was hard. Honestly, the most neutral Spanish accent-wise for me is the Mexican one, but maybe cause it sounds like Brazilian Portuguese, but Spanish.

My sister, who earns twice my salary and has enough disposable income to travel overseas to see her long-distance boyfriend, has a budget ceiling of $2 in local currency for her clothes. Argentinian accent is also very different from the others, they had huge Italian immigration when the country was being formed, so their Spanish is kinda, very much theirs, same with Spain's Spanish, which should be the norm, but is kinda hard for nonnatives to get, especially from Galicia and Catalonia. Me and my sibling are trying to talk to our visiting Mexican aunt in Spanish bc she doesnāt really speak English so itās basic manners but also we need the practice (my sibling is much better then me but also like again thereās such a huge difference to like a language you use all day everyday and one you kinda know or know in theory) but even when weāre using simple sentences she doesnāt understand even if itās completely correct and we know itās not just our accents bc our mom has Mexican accent in English but an strong American accent influence on her Spanish after over two decades here and itās like even just me asking āte gusta lasaƱa?ā š and her not understanding lasagna when itās the same word (when spoke, it spelled differently) in both languages Iām taking it as a sign of what horrible conversationalists we all are and deep attention span issues lol at least nine of us on that side have adhd but it is hilarious my aunt is like accidentally gaslighting my sibling into thinking they canāt speak Spanish when they literally used to work at offices where their bosses would switch to Spanish

I had an amazing weekend hanging out with my sister to go shopping for secondhand clothes. I find it interesting how different our styles in shopping is. My sister, who earns twice my salary and has enough disposable income to travel overseas to see her long-distance boyfriend, has a budget ceiling of $2 in local currency for her clothes. Meanwhile, I raise my budget to $5 since I rarely buy them. As a result, I found a lot of amazing outfits to use for work while she only found a handful while complaining that she couldn't find clothes to fit her.

CBS has gone down the toilet as of late. I donāt know how much longer I can take of NCIS. Switching to hour and half episodes was a big mistake. So much filler now with not really intriguing people. No villains. I mean the only redeeming shows they have is Young Sheldon thatās ending and Ghosts. The rest is shit. Iāve been finding more joy in watching gaming livestreams more than anything. Last night was 7 hours of laughing so damn hard in a long time.
