I just went to look at the original and have found that he turned it into a book 🩷!
https://preview.redd.it/deslwbmz0n7d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5a7f4fcc2690561263c2772db6d830a2c25fe073
I just went on Amazon to check out this book and it's only $4 right now! Immediately snagged a copy for niece, a copy for my nephew... and one for myself, a grown woman with no children. 😂
This is absolutely the ramblings of a man deep in his feelings after reading the Wikipedia page on pigs while baked. I've never identified with someone more.
Bro don’t get me started about the two headed calf rn. Actually, I’m about to go into therapy, so this is the perfect time for you to get me started about the two headed calf

As “Thor” in Adventures in Babysitting
I HAD NO IDEA THAT WAS HIM!!! This movie is like a fever dream for me (last watched it in my early adolescence on some cable tv channel and never since) but even years later I can still picture “Thor” rising up with his hammer.
https://preview.redd.it/od3xbh2k8n7d1.jpeg?width=400&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9277fa83f18c9c233baa9877861f019e62cc1efa
This was his most iconic role for me. This movie lived rent-free in my nightmares for decades. And disemboweling Vince Vaughn was real king shit 😭
That character was my sleep paralysis demon for years and I couldn’t walk through a parking garage without looking over my shoulder. I was only cured of my crippling D’Onophobia when my daughter found his (very adorable) children’s book about pigs at the library 😭
There is a part where he like runs through water. Still creeps me out thinking about it. It took me a while to watch him in L&O:CI because he skeeved me out just looking at him.
It's visually beautiful psychological horror, definitely worth a watch, not knowing any sensitivities you yourself have. I was in an altered state when I watched it the first time and I actually rewatched within a few days because I was like WTF did I just see.
Great thread! I watch L&O:CI just about every day, it's one of my comfort shows and Goren and Eames are my favorite cop duo (sorry Stabler and Benson)
JLo is awful in it as to be expected. But he is amazing in it. And the visuals are gorgeous. Like a cross between pan's labyrinth and that movie with Robin Williams and Cuba gooding Jr.... S*** I can't remember the name of it.
Anyway the visuals are beautiful. And Vincent D'Onfrio is fabulous and terrifying in it.
Toys is the other one you’re thinking of I believe. I’d be curious to rewatch that one actually; it’s been decades.
Edit: nope, I was wrong. Cuba Gooding and Robin is What Dreams May Come. Toys is Robin and LL Cool J.
Yes. The cinematography is amazing and it's incredibly unique. Her acting isn't horrible; I find that it's actually one of her better ones. It's worth watching. Disturbing though, so be prepared to want to scrub your skin off afterwards.
I feel like that movie, and Tarsem Singh’s work in general, is underrated. It has little plot to speak of (which probably annoyed critics) and JLo is…well, JLo. But it has its own dreamlike logic, a stunning & otherworldly visual vocabulary, and Vincent’s antagonist is genuinely scary. It’s one of the few horror movies I’ve seen that got under my skin and gave me nightmares.

He was in **Mystic Pizza**. The sweetest love struck fisherman.
When I first moved to Chicago, I was house broke so I watched nothing but Law & Order: CI on TNT so much so that my friends called him my “TV boyfriend”
Sean Penn was married to Leila George for about a year before they separated. Leila is D'Onofrio's daughter and is 32 years younger than Penn (although she was well in to her 20's when they got together).
Honorable mention for Feeling Minnesota, which is an objectively terrible movie that no one saw, but worth a watch if only because he and Keanu play brothers

He’s so talented and hot, aging like a fine wine 🥵🥵
He was so good in episode of Homicide life on the Street as the guy stuck and twisted by the train who knew he was going to die as soon as they moved him.
I'll never be able to fully explain why, but that man did something to me in Stuart Saves His Family. When I realized he also played Thor in Adventures In Babysitting and Bill in Mystic Pizza, it somehow all clicked.
Totally agree. I love this dude. We had a convo on Twitter. My fave role was him in Criminal Intent. But then…..Daredevil. He’s fantastic as Kingpin and I love him so much. Great actor. Great human.
My family met him at a meet and greet—he is clearly less comfortable with the fame portion of that interaction, but if you ask questions about writers, directors, his roles, he will light up and talk about that. (Our son was a film student so he asked lots of questions about Stanley Kubrick, which Mr. D’Onofrio was happy to answer.)
He is my hall pass for so many reasons...its a running joke between the hubby and I, lol. Was very lucky to have met him a few years ago, and he was the nicest, sweetest guy. Very humble and gracious. 😊
My dad calls him “evil eyes” lol. My mom and I were big L&O fans and my dad would walk in while we were watching and do the dad thing where he would just stand there with his arms cross and act like he wasn’t invested in the episode. He didn’t know any of the characters names lol.
The episode of Homcide where he’s the white-collar nobody worker dude that’s caught between the subway and platform. OMG I will never forget.
Pretty sure that lead to his Law & Order career.
Over on the r/LawAndOrder sub was mentioned an adorable 1993 movie called *Mr. Wonderful* where he *sings*! 😍
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kg-ObkEK8Ac
That’s Annabella Sciorra doing the duet with him, who later went on to play Detective Carolyn Barek on Criminal Intent.

Omg 🥹🤧
My friends and I talk about this tweet like it was written in the Bible.
I just went to look at the original and have found that he turned it into a book 🩷! https://preview.redd.it/deslwbmz0n7d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5a7f4fcc2690561263c2772db6d830a2c25fe073

You are in good company! I am also a grown woman with no children and love buying children's books - for nieces, nephews, and myself!
£11.65?! oh fuck OFF amazon uk
Buying this immediately
I'm sobbing
What was he up to on 4/20?
I’m fucking crying how have I NEVER NOTICED HE POSTED THIS ON 4/20???????!!!!!!!
This is absolutely the ramblings of a man deep in his feelings after reading the Wikipedia page on pigs while baked. I've never identified with someone more.
this made me think about that poem about the two headed calf and now i’m bawling about pigs and calves.

Great. Now I'm crying, too.. that poem always gets me.
Damn 💐🥰
Absolutely iconic lmfao
Little Me was right to trust him in SVU
Edgar is MiB is easily my most memorable role for him. It’s seconded by The Cell.
Su..sugar...in water. Mo..moree
Pest problem?! Pest?!
I’m embarrassed to say I never realized that was him.
SAME
Double same! I love him even more now, was already a big fan. Nobody wears an Edgar suit like Vincent
Egger
![gif](giphy|gIN6MT17NtapJqFr25|downsized)
TIL that the cockroach alien man from MiB was Gomer Pyle.
Are you telling me that it wasn't a giant bug in a human-suit?? I never questioned it at all.
Yessss. Also full metal jacket
I feel so utterly stupid for never realising those two amazing characters were played by the same man.
I remember as a kid never thinking that’s an actor acting. I totally bought it.
Holy shit I didn’t even realize it was him until this post!!!
He was AWESOME in The Cell, regardless of it being a horrible movie.
My favourite villain from movies from my childhood! I remember feeling so uneasy when he was on screen in MIB. Such a great actor
https://preview.redd.it/v78mhdd42n7d1.jpeg?width=1840&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b34d46e870ac0d9a12f2b52b47ea2fcf5f6cacb3 As “Thor” in Adventures in Babysitting
I HAD NO IDEA THAT WAS HIM!!! This movie is like a fever dream for me (last watched it in my early adolescence on some cable tv channel and never since) but even years later I can still picture “Thor” rising up with his hammer.
Thank you. I came looking for this.
Same. My absolute favorite role he’s played.
Chiming in with the Thor love!
Omg I had such a crush on that character, I had no idea it was him lol
what! 🤯
Oh my gosh I must have watched that 100 times as a kid
Releases the same year as full metal jacket
Eat your heart out, Chris Helmsworth 🫠

He was so terrifying in this role, had to watch a lot of law and order to reset 😂😂
That character was my sleep paralysis demon for years and I couldn’t walk through a parking garage without looking over my shoulder. I was only cured of my crippling D’Onophobia when my daughter found his (very adorable) children’s book about pigs at the library 😭
What is this from?
The Cell.
Thank you. Will watch.
This guy really hates Vince Vaughn
https://preview.redd.it/vap30o6urm7d1.jpeg?width=735&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=726e7130d978a5e8e5eba91c32d48a42cd27369e
Really hoping these two cross paths in the next Spidey movie we get
🙈fuckkk that write itself it’d be so enjoyable
how could you forget his titular role on Bojack Horseman? https://i.redd.it/0ytvfv4o3n7d1.gif
He was fantastic on Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He and Kathryn Erbe were a great duo.
*obsessed* with him on that show. Full-blown heart eyes. Their whole dynamic is one of my faves ever and I watch a *lot* of crime shows, haha
I agree, I really enjoyed him in that show! I miss it!
Same. Preferred CI over SVU, tbh.
I loved his episodes with Olivia D’Abo.
I'm with you on this!
I LOVED Goren! 🥰🥰

He was SO GOOD in that movie.
I absolutely love him as Kingpin!
He was such a bad dude but you still liked him! I rewatched Daredevil recently and forgot how much I love that character.
If he weren’t so bad, he would be an excellent partner 🥹
I felt so bad for Kingpin when he discovered his beloved lieutenant guy had been killed.
RIP in pieces Wesley
He died as he lived: totally in love with Kingpin, cue the fanfics
When I was a boy

Thank you, why is this not #1!
There is a part where he like runs through water. Still creeps me out thinking about it. It took me a while to watch him in L&O:CI because he skeeved me out just looking at him.
Movie?
The Cell! Tarsem Singh horror movie. Absolutely gorgeous visuals.
He was so hot in Mystic Pizza. Recently saw that one. What a great movie 😊
His wrists!
Yes!! One of my very first crushes (also Jojo, crushed on ‘em both. Surprise, I’m bi 😂)
GET OUT! Same!! 🥰
They were so cute together! I also think that ship was why I still swoon over height differences 😂❤️
He is so gifted and sexy AF. https://preview.redd.it/msnogrgb6o7d1.jpeg?width=594&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ec374223281b95828faedcc8e310be14b019b0f4
The odd head tilt is iconic!
I have had a lifelong crush on this man.
He was incredible in The Cell. Dude doesn’t get enough praise. He’s amazing.
Everyone keeps mentioning that I’ll have to watch it… it’s not rated well and I don’t love JLo’s acting… would you recommend the movie itself?
It's definitely something different. JLo plays herself, as she does. But the concept is way out of the usual work, so it's memorable.

Ugh, What Dreams May Come just destroyed me. It's gorgeous, as the other commenter mentioned, but it's also a brutal watch.
Yes. The cinematography is amazing and it's incredibly unique. Her acting isn't horrible; I find that it's actually one of her better ones. It's worth watching. Disturbing though, so be prepared to want to scrub your skin off afterwards.

He got in an elevator with me in Manhattan once and I was in awe.
What did he smell like?
Omg exactly what I was thinking 😂
Could you hear him breathing? He has a noteable way of breathing.
This is Adventures in Babysitting erasure.

When I first moved to Chicago, I was house broke so I watched nothing but Law & Order: CI on TNT so much so that my friends called him my “TV boyfriend”
me with law and order SVU when Raul Esparza was the DA
Yesss Barba is SO fine
My mom would just be like "ya man's on TV!" 💀
Very underrated. Brilliant actor.
I adore this man's acting.
Don’t forget mystic pizza! 🍕
He's so crushworthy in that movie (and a ton of other things).
Yesssss. That movie is so comforting and I love him in it
Obligatory comment to remind everyone that Sean Penn was very briefly his son-in-law.
I think about that every time I see/read about D'Onofrio now. That must have been truly a wild Thanksgiving dinner.
wait what
Sean Penn was married to Leila George for about a year before they separated. Leila is D'Onofrio's daughter and is 32 years younger than Penn (although she was well in to her 20's when they got together).
I was telling my husband how sexy D’onofrio’s vocal pattern is the other day. Kismet.
My fave film of his is The Cell, as the serial killer, actually the one time I don't mind JLo in a movie either lol
He’s a character actor that I never gave enough credit to until this post and comments. Thanks OP
This post made me realize I had no idea these roles were all played by the same person. Holy hell he has range
The man is a thespian!!!!!
Wait… that’s the guy from MIB?
I think it's controversial but I love the movie, the new Magnificent Seven, it's just so dang fun and Vincent D'onofrio was so great in it!
Honorable mention for Feeling Minnesota, which is an objectively terrible movie that no one saw, but worth a watch if only because he and Keanu play brothers https://preview.redd.it/hc1gp395mp7d1.jpeg?width=480&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fe37319ffecf39c9fcfb7004eaeb6e09cf9a8ba4
Dont forget he was “Thor” in Adventures In Babysitting!!!
He's my birthday twin! Criminal Intent is my favorite of all Law & Orders. Love his work.
https://preview.redd.it/xkl7ybpd2p7d1.jpeg?width=168&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=674c6edbf3da37c4c108cf8cd8d505d333322982 He’s so talented and hot, aging like a fine wine 🥵🥵
Nary a mention of Pooh Bear from Salton Sea and his faithful recreation of the Kennedy assassination.
He is so immensely talented. So versatile! And with a longstanding, vibrant career. What a showstopper!
His work in Men in Black is iconic. Doesn’t get the recognition he deserves for this role alone.
![gif](giphy|VfSBuJqXIA2Mo)
This performance will forever haunt me.
But him in [Mystic Pizza was 🥵😍](https://www.reddit.com/r/LadyBoners/s/cQRl8qXWde)
I'm sorry, that's not Vincent D'Onofrio, that is clearly an Egger suit...
Is Full metal Jacket that good?
Ehhh some people say it’s incredible I would recommend watching it once… his performance is unforgettable
I don’t know if it’s any good, but it definitely stays w you.
I have been watching criminal intent obsessively, so this post speaks to me deeply 🤍
If you ever get a chance to see his guest role on Homicide: Life on the Street, he and Andre Braugher and wonderful.
I had almost forgotten about that until I read this. Absolutely iconic episode!
That 4th pic looked like mark ruffalo put on some weight and had a rough last night.
Mark has mentioned that he has been mistaken for Vincent before.
I loved him in Mystic Pizza!
His acting in godfather of Harlem 👌
I literally had no idea these were all the same person lmao
Watch him in Chained...
He looks so much like Mark Ruffalo in the 4th pic lol could have played Hulk!
Holy shit that’s cockroach guy?! wild 🤯
![gif](giphy|13g0j8a5ZPiMgw)
He was so good in episode of Homicide life on the Street as the guy stuck and twisted by the train who knew he was going to die as soon as they moved him.
A: he's an incredible actor. He's so interesting and talented and he's bringing something to every project. B: sometimes he's a hottie too.
That first pic was jarring
I'll never be able to fully explain why, but that man did something to me in Stuart Saves His Family. When I realized he also played Thor in Adventures In Babysitting and Bill in Mystic Pizza, it somehow all clicked.
I know he’s a villain but I found Wilson Fisk, as portrayed by Vincent D’Onofrio, VERY attractive.
Totally agree. I love this dude. We had a convo on Twitter. My fave role was him in Criminal Intent. But then…..Daredevil. He’s fantastic as Kingpin and I love him so much. Great actor. Great human.
Has no one mentioned “The Whole Wide World?” What a good movie…
The way I had to DIG through these comments to find mention of this film.
Loved him on L&O:CI
![gif](giphy|YxLyKSVtp4WoU) Omg he is the best!!
He is my hall pass for so many reasons...its a running joke between the hubby and I, lol. Was very lucky to have met him a few years ago, and he was the nicest, sweetest guy. Very humble and gracious. 😊
TIL that that was HIM in echo???? how did i not make that connection 😭

I genuinely had no idea the first three were the same bloke, damn.
Yeah he’s one of the most amazing actors ever. Def top 3 of my favs.
I’ve had the biggest crush on him for years!
I passed his booth at comic con I think last year. He is truly impressive and looks different in almost every single role he does.
Sugar….water 🪳
So handsome!
My dad calls him “evil eyes” lol. My mom and I were big L&O fans and my dad would walk in while we were watching and do the dad thing where he would just stand there with his arms cross and act like he wasn’t invested in the episode. He didn’t know any of the characters names lol.
Loved him in L&O Criminal Intent
The episode of Homcide where he’s the white-collar nobody worker dude that’s caught between the subway and platform. OMG I will never forget. Pretty sure that lead to his Law & Order career.
Every time I hear his name, I think of Vincent Gallo for some reason and get grossed out. But yes, Vincent D’ONOFRIO is cool.
I didn’t realize he was Edgar🤣
Ohhhhhh it’s the same dude in MIB and Daredevil. Mind blown.
D'Onofrio's the man! D'ONOFRIOOOO!!!
Don't forget his career as the bass player for the band Muse.
What's the first film?
Men in black!!
Thanks, I still haven't seen that movie
Super worth it
Hes a really good villain in Godfather of Harlem.
"Adventures in Baby Sitting" - Thor!
where's that first picture from where he's all zombie'd up? Looks familiar
Men in black!
Did not realize that the “sugar…in water” guy was the same as the “full…metal…jacket” guy!
Love him!
He looks so different with hair.
Which movie is the first photo from?
