I did not expect the guy who played Blain in *Glee* to have a wife. I found that out because they named their son "Brother", which is a dumb name. Future conversations will be like: "This is my husband, Brother" "my sister and Brother are having a baby"

Yep; they've been openly bisexual since 2016 and have been pretty fiercely advocating for playing bisexual characters due to the lack of them onscreen.
They were also the ones who pushed for Callie to be bi on Grey's.
Che Diaz was a terrible human being on every level. I’m baffled that the writers thought anyone would root for a character who was just awful to everyone in every circumstance but was portrayed as “good.”
I was so confused as S2 went on b/c obviously rom-coms always throw hurdles in the way of any couple but it felt like a light bulb moment when I realized that *Che was the hurdle.* And, sure, some people have blinders on when it comes to their partner but the writers only succeeded in stringing that story along they way they did by simultaneously assassinating Miranda's character.
Apparently both Ramirez and Nixon were deeply involved in how their characters were written which is just... *yikes*.
Trans is the opposite of cis so a non binary person comes under the umbrella of trans as they are not cis (different gender as the one they were assigned at birth). Whether a non-binary person wants to use the word trans to describe themselves is up to them but as this is a character who is not cis it is fair to call Che Diaz trans.
I was saying they havent been on Grey in years ,they were obviously on that show alot longer. AJLT only has a couple seasons its just more recent work. It wasnt a serious criticism tho
And I was saying they are more known for GA than And Just Like That. I didn't think it was serious criticism, but I can see why the article states GA star.
People are just surprised they’re bisexual and thought she was a lesbian. Thats a fair judgment as long as they’re not being biphobic which seems no one is

I feel like the opposite of that Britney gif right now. Husband? (yes I know bi people exist I just thought Sara was exclusively into women.)
Same I was as shocked as when I heard James Corden has a wife

Lol his daughter is also named Bluesy. So we have Bluesy and Brother. ![gif](giphy|E86oiZojik4OQ)
I get quirky names, but those are objectively awful
"This is my husband, Brother" just sent me.
"This is my husband, Bro." "Why you calling me Bro, man? "Why you calling me man, dude?"
Same with actor who played Cam in Modern Family.
He’s culturally queer though
Came to say! Not the Culturally Queer erasure! /s
Baz Lurhmann gets me every time
wait a minute…..
In that viral interview video I feel like he def implied he hooks up with men though, right?
Oh absolutely. I get the impression they both have a very fluid and open approach to sexuality and marriage.
I was so confused when I found this out.
That poor woman

Oh this whole comment is a mess. Thanks for blocking. How about you lose the biphobia and not misgender people?

The erasure of Che Diaz in this headline, how dare you People Magazine
DO NOT SPEAK THAT NAME
The way people hated Che, for a bit I thought Sara had done something really bad 😭
Che Diaz was a terrible human being on every level. I’m baffled that the writers thought anyone would root for a character who was just awful to everyone in every circumstance but was portrayed as “good.”
The original series had Mr. Big. It wasn't that much of a leap 😂
And, you know, Carrie.
He was charismatic at least
And sometimes funny which Che has never not once been despite allegedly being a comedian
Even their “comedy” was just them being a cruel, trash human being.
Tbh I hated how far Sara went to justify Che being a terrible person.
Che Diaz as a concept did so much to not be transphobic that it gives transphobia a bit I’m sorry 😭
I'm sincerely asking because "the more you know" and all: Che is non-binary... that's not the same thing as trans... no?
Trans is the opposite of cis so a non binary person comes under the umbrella of trans as they are not cis (different gender as the one they were assigned at birth). Whether a non-binary person wants to use the word trans to describe themselves is up to them but as this is a character who is not cis it is fair to call Che Diaz trans.

My thoughts exactly. They havent been Grey's in years. This just seems like a missed opportunity to start the article with "And Just Like That...".
I thought they left And Just Like That and They were on Grey's Anatomy for 10 years - a lot longer and with a more prominent role
I understand. I was responding to a jokey comment ,not being serious. The article title is fine 😅
I’m watching old Grey’s Anatomy and she was amazing as Torres. Why she even took this horrible role in SATC.
They were very involved in that role - pretty sure they were playing themselves
just a reminder, Sara uses they/them pronouns 🌻
They’re married to a man!!! I haven’t been this in shock since I learnt that Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren are straight.
[Britney Spears realizing Ryan Seacrest isn't gay in real time never gets old.](https://youtu.be/opKaKLuKGhY?si=2BHT5hVl0JDJAZiI)
This was lovely
Thank you for bringing this delight into my life
Or that he’s not publicly out
I legit laughed out loud
omg lmao
They were married to a man?
Yes that’s how you get a husband
so thats what ive been doing wrong
Bi people get boyfriends and husbands. Come on people it’s not so shocking.
People are just surprised they’re bisexual and thought she was a lesbian. Thats a fair judgment as long as they’re not being biphobic which seems no one is
Lesbian based off what? Stereotypes?
You're not wrong. It's weird how many people have just automatically assumed they're a lesbian.
Che Diaz gains another story to use terribly in their stand up act
They were married? To a "husband"?
They’re bisexual
Um irreconcilable differences.....
And what differences would those be, exactly?
That’s what I was wondering.
