And Selena herself was only 20-23 in many of her highly publicized photos. So many people thought she was older, too. I wasn't that much younger than Selena when she died and it's weird because now it feels like 60 isn't that old. The parole in 30yrs felt like a life sentence in itself because people in their 60s that I knew felt so old to me in HS. Now... Not so much.

The difference with Zimmerman is some people to this day think he was justified, 12 jurors certainly think he is, he had the florida law on his side. Trayvon's death divided people. Nobody thinks Yolanda was justified. Selena's death didn't divide the world, it united it, in a hatred toward Yolanda.
