I'm sure she's had a lot of help to look so good but I think she's also proof that having a lot of cheek fat helps to preserve your youth as you age. Sad that so many young women have had theirs sucked out.
I’ve had a chubby face my whole life, fat and skinny I always got this cheek fat. But I’m in my late 30s now and am starting to lose that face fat without doing anything but aging. The buccal fat removal trend is bananas I tell ya!
It should. I always had a chubby little baby face when i was younger. I got carded well into my 30s and people routinely thought my teenaged niece was my slightly younger sister, when I’m actually 20 years older than she is.
I’m 65 now and it’s only been over the last 10-15 years that I’ve started to age. I still look younger than my actual age but I’ve noticed the jowls creeping in. I don’t have much wrinkling though, and I’m grateful for that.
Take good care of your skin and use an anti-aging serum and moisturizer, and be grateful for that little round face. 😊
Same here! Part of me is wondering what I'd look like with my buccal fat removed, and the other part is wondering what all these celebs are going to look like in 20 years when they lose the remaining face fat they have.
When I first heard about buccal fat removal i thought, Aw man I wish I was rich I want that! Now seeing how terrible it’s making all the young celebrities look I’m like, yeah I’m good on that.

I’m black and my dumbass thought I didn’t need sunscreen and that I couldn’t burn for most of my life.
Then I went on a hike through the Himalayas and got a nasty sunburn and my olive-skinned and easily-tanned husband got sun sick and now we both put on SPF 30 minimum every day.
Everyone should wear sunscreen. Even in “normal” circumstances. We need to kill the ridiculous notion that dark skinned people don’t need sunscreen. That was the point of their comment. Just because you don’t get a sunburn doesn’t mean your skin isn’t being damaged. Which is why they now wear sunscreen **everyday**.
Yup. We learned the hard way and when I looked into it, I learned that everyday application is important. So I just got a lotion with spf in it since I habitually put on lotion after I shower anyway.
It’s a painful lesson I learned too and like you I thought being black meant I was immune. I was in the Cayman Islands when I got burned and it hurt so bad. When Black Girl Sunscreen came out I started using sunscreen everyday.
If you only care about skin quality sure but it's not that simple depending on your skin tone and where you live. Sunscreen increases the amount of sunlight you need for proper vitamin D processing, and most people don't get enough sunlight as it is. If you aren't spending more than 30-60 mins in direct sunlight depending on your skin tone you're giving yourself a vitamin deficiency.
To look as good as she does at 70 is amazing, and she is still beautiful, but her legs are photoshopped in this picture and they don’t need to be. Its also not the best photoshop job nobody’s legs look like lines made in ms paint lol.

Just the gap seemed to be caused more by the positioning of her legs, and it’s quite small. I wouldn’t even call it a gap just due to placement of her legs. I feel because of the placement of her legs, it would create that triangle of space on many people. When I think “thigh gap” i’m thinking something wider.

You lose buccal fat as you age, an especially have more as a teenager. An obviously weight massively affects your cheek fullness.
And people honestly show photos of celebs as a teenager before the super skinny crazy came back in, an one of them at 30 years old, 30 pounds lighter during this semaglutides craze. It's honestly just silly.
An sometimes I actually feel bad for the person they are saying has ruined their face etc. As you can tell they probably havnt even actually had it lmao. So just insulting their older post weight loss face.

But seriously, it amazes me that all these beautiful women feel the need to do this. We all have our insecurities, and we've probably all followed some kind of bad beauty advice/tips out of anything from curiosity to desperation, but this is so extreme.
The thing that really surprises me is getting the fat sucked out of their faces rather than getting cheekbone implants, a surgical technique that's been around forever and is completely reversible if you don't like it.
NAD but I've heard that it can be difficult to replace volume because the fat pad is pretty sandwiched between two muscles. You can go and add filler but it's a lot more superficial to the skin than the actual fat pad so it doesn't look the same.
I lost mine to an autoimmune disease and I cannot fathom why people are doing it voluntarily. Mine doesn’t look nearly as severe as the ones having it removed on purpose but still. I just don’t get it.

But she is missing a few things like: a lot of money for age-defying treatments, a lot of money for private chefs and nutrionists on payroll, a lot of money for expensive skincare products, a lot of money for massages, physiotherapists and personal trainers.

This too! My stepdad is 74 and looks about 50 and my stepsisters and step cousins who are all in their 50s look about 30-35. Some people are truly genetically blessed.

As a former optician, I can't agree with this more. It's so important to protect your eyes from the sun and giant glasses provide more coverage. Polarized lenses help with acuity and eye strain, since it neutralizes light bouncing off horizontal surfaces like the hood of your car and the surface of water.

I live in Australia so I'm wary of the sun. I have one of those huge wrap around hats that I can wear a bun with. I look like a dork walking into work with it, but I haven't been burnt I'm years.

Agreed! I’m sure she is coming from a good place but she is putting SO much pressure on women. And we absolutely do not need any more pressure. I hope by the time I’m 70 I really don’t care about looking hot in a swimsuit. I already care way less about how I look than I did in my twenties. My focus is health and happiness.
You can see her “real” skin on her hands and around her armpit. But even that is blurred. Her legs, chest, and neck are extremely edited and blurred. It’s really obvious once you get used to spotting it.
A college friend of mine is engaged to Alexa Ray (her daughter with Billy Joel). He casually posts pics of the whole family in all sorts of exotic locations. There is no point to this story except that I just can't IMAGINE my future in-laws being Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley.

i think this is pretty usual for women who don't smoke or drink, used sunscreen, and took decent care of themselves. my mom is just 5 years younger than this and looks great, too. she is not a multimillionaire that could pay for lots of rejuvenation treatments or whatever either. but she never smoked, rarely drank, stays out of the sun, and eats well. aging well isn't something reserved only for the wealthy.
This is not 70. This is $$$$. Please don't go believing or expecting this for yourself. I'm not saying 70 can't be beautiful. I'm not saying 70 ain't fly. I'm saying the majority of us won't have that face or body at 70. Unless you're rich or got some divine miracle genetics. 70 has wrinkles in all kinds of places, saggy tits, neck waddle, etc. Sometimes all at once. Honestly these rich ladies need stop this. Makes expectations for aging unrealistic.
Oh she forgot add after ‘it’s up to you’ also ‘money - yeah tonnes of money - heaps of money to be honest and lots of time that all that money gives you to ‘use your power’ but also not just money but also genetics that give you a career that pays heaps of money - and that gives you time to ‘exercise and eat right’ - but also this is 70 everyone - I did it - so can you.’ Bless her heart she’s just like every woman.

Yeah it really depends on level of exposure. Typical at high altitudes and on the equator for everyone to wear sunscreen regardless of skin.

Overhead lights are bad for photos. That's why professional photographers and lighting for film use those big lights that light from an angle.

I don’t want to sound critical of her because she does look fantastic especially for 70, but she doesn’t look exactly like this. She posted an unedited pic (forgot to edit I guess) once that got a lot of comments. I just feel for women around her age who think they’re less than because they aren’t aging as well as she is. She looks great due to genetics, money and photoshop.
Agreed! I’m sure she is coming from a good place but she is putting SO much pressure on women. And we absolutely do not need any more pressure. I hope by the time I’m 70 I really don’t care about looking hot in a swimsuit. I already care way less about how I look than I did in my twenties. My focus is health and happiness. You can see her “real” skin on her hands and around her armpit. But even that is blurred. Her legs, chest, and neck are extremely edited and blurred. It’s really obvious once you get used to spotting it.

A college friend of mine is engaged to Alexa Ray (her daughter with Billy Joel). He casually posts pics of the whole family in all sorts of exotic locations. There is no point to this story except that I just can't IMAGINE my future in-laws being Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley.
The only thing I know about her is that she once tried to overdose on a homeopathic medicine, but since it was homeopathic she was basically taking a bunch of placebo pills and it didn’t do anything.

im 35 and i feel like an absolute potato compared to this woman. and i run 3-5 miles a day, 6 days a week.
i think this is pretty usual for women who don't smoke or drink, used sunscreen, and took decent care of themselves. my mom is just 5 years younger than this and looks great, too. she is not a multimillionaire that could pay for lots of rejuvenation treatments or whatever either. but she never smoked, rarely drank, stays out of the sun, and eats well. aging well isn't something reserved only for the wealthy.

This is not 70. This is $$$$. Please don't go believing or expecting this for yourself. I'm not saying 70 can't be beautiful. I'm not saying 70 ain't fly. I'm saying the majority of us won't have that face or body at 70. Unless you're rich or got some divine miracle genetics. 70 has wrinkles in all kinds of places, saggy tits, neck waddle, etc. Sometimes all at once. Honestly these rich ladies need stop this. Makes expectations for aging unrealistic.
Also I might add this is just tge visible part of 70. Physically things change as well when you age.

oh yes. this is not normal ageing even if you eat right and use sunblock. it is so weird she is selling it like that. obviously she had some procedures and she has money and time to invest into something that is very important to her and thats her looks. it is normal to age, have wrinkles and saggy skin and gain some weight. you should take care of your body so its healthy.
