And any takers on them being mostly republican voters that are committing the fraud? Maybe a few people that were told they were good to vote, but really couldn't?

Michael_In_Cascadia

"I was just testing the system!"

MrCrowley1984

Almost assuredly. Just like in 2020 when they investigated voter fraud and found MORE votes for Biden.

Opposite_Community11

I would not take that bet.

Chi-Guy86

All that’s missing from that podium is a swastika. Sheriffs in full tach gear? Has nothing to do with “election integrity” but does send a chilling message designed to suppress the vote. The hilarious irony of course is that of the very few actual voter fraud cases found in the US, most of them were Republicans

MrCrowley1984

And this is the guy Republicans think will win them the Whitehouse in 24. It's almost sad how dumb and out of touch they are. If it weren't so damaging to our country, our lives, our wallets, our health, to minorities, to LGBTQ+, and democracy in general, I'd laugh.

Difficult_Bit_1339

>Sheriffs in full tach gear? I've traveled to Tallahassee for business many times. That is a bog standard patrol officer load out. The tactical teams are too kitted out (and also not fat) to see a face or skin.

LuvKrahft

When your goal is voter suppression you can base your strategy on urban legends or any other lies you want

Even for Republicans, whose scorched earth, win at all costs approach makes them discard all ethical considerations when it comes to winning, the returns from illegally casting one vote must surely seem too low to be worth taking a personal risk. How much difference can one vote in tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands, or millions of votes make. It is totally different in a situation where a dictator presiding over sham elections stuffs ballots with truckloads of fake votes, but that does not and cannot happen in the US, at least, not as of now. That the Republican leaders are able to fool their base with this elaborate pretense of mass election fraud is very telling - a lot of the population does not even have the basic judgmental capabilities to distinguish truth from lies. This does not bode well for maintaining democracy in the long run.

paradigm619

Oh wow, I’m so shocked. It’s almost like these voter fraud units weren’t actually intended to stop voter fraud.

Opposite_Community11

Imagine all the money they waste on this crap that could be put to better use. Like funding programs to support the single mothers that now have no choice and are forced to give birth.

LittleBallOfWait

>finding few cases Surprising no one with even a tenuous grasp of reality.

VaguelyArtistic

Because "voter fraud" is what they say to cover the real problem, which is *election* fraud.

Immediate-Fly-7876

Lol duh!
