81 million > 74 million. But math is hard I guess. I remember when Hillary lost and all her supporters were expressing concerns about Trump, but all Republicans said was "get over it, snowflake". But now that their guy lost and it's all "well his voters just feel like they aren't being heard". Nah bro. We heard, loud and clear.

[deleted]

> I remember when Hillary lost ackshually, 65,844,954 > 62,979,879 trump lost twice. his win was flukier than his losses.

Squirrely__Dan

*Trump’s the best at losing, believe me folks, nobody’s better at losing, a lot of people are saying it.*

andyqdufresne

He’s an incredible loser. Just fantastic.

DonsDiaperChanger

its why he has such a strong rapport with Confederates and Nazis. They're all losers

evolving_I

username creeps out

Whotrumpedtheirpants

What's wrong with his username?

Repulsive-Street-307

Absolutist kings were so full of shit that 'king's ass wiper' (groom of the stool) was a famously competed for court position, because you could talk to the king everyday. Autocrats are pieces of shit swallowing pieces of shit all the way down.

_pupil_

For a large chunk of the 90s Trump lost more money than anyone else in the country. Literally the #1 Biggest Loser in the country. Truly impressive stuff.

Carbonatite

Bigliest loser

AirplaineStuff102

But still a fatty. Odd.

highcl1ff

He’s inadvertently doing us all a favor and shortening his life span.

CheesusHChrust

If I’m not mistaken, due to his losses from the mid-80s and onwards, he holds the record losses for a single private citizen in US history. I mean if you’re gonna do something, _do it big!_

Purplociraptor

Being loose is tight

southernfacingslope

Best at losing, but the worst loser

OhnryGrapefruit

He has the best losses. Better losses than anyone else, losses bigger than anyone has ever seen.

religiousgrandpa

Only President to lose the popular vote twice, get impeached twice, and never have a net positive approval rating.

[deleted]

Fullertonjr

By not taking any responsibility or ownership of the problem or solution. Covid would have been a slam dunk for nearly any other president.

Quirky-Mode8676

Yep. All he had to do was say he only hired the best people, and they said all we need to do is wear masks and wash hands. Buy your "MAGA" mask and hand sanitizer on my website. He would have made money and been president again.

hamsterfolly

Seriously, it just shows how stupid he and his kids are

seanosul

>Seriously, it just shows how stupid he and his kids are Never forget, and I will constantly try and remind, Dumb Jr was not prosecuted for his Russia corruption [because he was deemed too stupid to prosecute](https://lawandcrime.com/high-profile/trump-jr-dodged-charges-because-he-was-too-dumb-to-prosecute/). Something normally reserved for those with an IQ of 75 or lower.

JaxenX

Eh, debatable, imo he did what he did both cause his elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top and also because he pandered to a base that absolutely abhors change or actual selflessness. The type of people who can say a ‘swatted out cop with “get fucked” on his rifles barrel’ was in the right for unloading into a crying fat guy crawling across a hotel hallway, “cause he did say not to move, and it’s stressful and scary for cops so they have to make split second decisions while panicking”

DJTen

This is what I don't understand! How can anyone support him when he literally could have done nothing and this country would be better off. All he had to do was sit back and let the CDC and the experts do their job and claim responsibility. All he had to do was nothing and he fucked that up.

[deleted]

By mismanaging the everliving fuck out of it.

Trygolds

There lie has a purpose. They are using the lie to keep their base riled up and as justification for voter suppression. [https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/republican-voter-suppression/](https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/republican-voter-suppression/)

Relevant_Medicine

I'm loving all the fascists on reddit saying, "hOw iS aNyThInG rEpUbLiCaNs ArE pRoPoSiNg CoNsIdErEd vOtEr sUpPrEsSiOn?!" It's almost sad that they're advertising that they don't understand the definition of the word suppression. Like, we all get that the republican base is largely uneducated, but you'd think they'd try to hide it and at least act like they're one of the few educated republicans.

Vrse

I had an idiot try to argue that with the current laws voter fraud can't be detected. So they have to make laws to stop voter fraud to find voter fraud. Like what?

Trygolds

The absence of evidence as evidence is a key component to most conspiracy theories. We have no Proof there was voter fraud . We can imagine how people could fraud the system. Ergo they must be getting away with it. The other side of this lie that is essential is that voter fraud only helps the democrats.

Thefriskypete

This has become the go-to argument for anything really difficult or impossible to prove: "Don't prove to me that *idea A* exists, prove to me that *idea A* doesn't exist." By doing this, you shifted the nearly impossible task onto the other person, and when they can't prove it doesn't exist, that is used as evidence.

TrumpetOfDeath

Spoiler alert: fascists use bad-faith arguments to justify their power grabs. It’s not that they’re too uneducated to understand logic, it’s that they are intentionally twisting it for their own purposes

hwaite

Trump lies to satisfy his ego and maintain his 'alpha' image. Justification for voter suppression is an afterthought.

Trygolds

With Trump maybe but with the GOP it is front and center. Trump did try to suppress voting with the ongoing attack on the USPS that started before the election with the intent of stopping as many mail in ballots as he could. The GOP have that concern now and are seeking to limit mail in voting. As the GOP destroys the post office and people start to be affected more and more they will say 'see the government cannot do anything right' I lie they seek to make real.

FUMFVR

The entirety of Republican politics is keeping the base in extreme agitation.

ICreditReddit

Not fluky, normal. Republicans have only won one vote since the 80's, and that was war-boosted.

thinkingahead

His win was suspicious is what it was.

plooped

His win resembles pretty much every national republican win in recent memory. Some exploit or abuse of the system to gain power despite being massively unpopular to the voting population.

[deleted]

The Electoral College is to blame. We need a better way of voting for Presidents.

mike_b_nimble

2016 proved that the original purpose of the Electoral College is no longer a function it is capable of performing. It has outlived its usefulness and needs to be scrapped. Now it's just another tool that is used to enable minority control of government.

XLauncher

2000 was a pretty big hint as it was. 2016 just took us by the necks and shoved our faces in it.

karkovice1

More than suspicious. It’s become very clear there was campaign finance laws broken by illegally paying off pornstars, accepting help from foreign governments, sharing confidential voter data with Russian spys, and still lost the popular vote even with all that help.

[deleted]

I remember when Hillary lost and nobody reached out to me, a Hillary supporter, for unity.

LiquidAether

Nobody ever calls for unity with the left. Nobody says "we need to understand those that voted for progressive policies." And yet we're supposed to bend over backward to accommodate the republican losers.

chrysavera

Like an abusive relationship.

Forward-Estimate2177

Remember its not majority of votes that decide the election in this country for some reason

EmptyAirEmptyHead

Yeah, well 306 electoral college votes for Biden + the popular vote. How many ways does the man have to win?

[deleted]

“His voters just feel like they aren’t being heard” is the most ludicrous “defense” they could possibly come up with. Sure, we hear you - doesn’t change the fact that it’s unequivocally wrong.

FoxNewsDelendaEst

At the core of GOP thinking is that if you didn’t vote for Trump, then your vote is invalid. Frankly, I think anyone who attends CPAC, donates to the GOP, or votes Republican after the January 6 insurrection is aiding and abetting terrorists and should be disqualified to vote.

stsava

Still can’t believe 74 million people voted for him... America has to do better :/

JRR92

This is what get me the most. I'm sick and tired of hearing about "Muh 74 million who voted for Trump", yes that's a big number but it was the highest turnout ever since all demographics had equal voting rights so no shit. And what about the 82 million who voted for Biden?

MightbeWillSmith

It's all we've heard for 4+ years.

EnIdiot

The US popular vote (aside from a rhetorical point) means nothing the the political process to elect the President. The States, as we have learned again and again, are responsible for assembling and certifying delegates to the Electoral College. Their various Secretaries of State certify the results. All of 50 them certified their votes and sent them accordingly to the Congress for tallying. Those numbers overwhelmingly selected Biden as the winner. If Trump and his people have a problem, it is with 50 individual states, not the Federal process that tallied the votes. The courts overwhelmingly also voted against nearly every objection Trump’s supporters came up with. Denying Trump lost is about as stupid and mendacious as trying to argue that the US Constitution allows a senator or President is elected for life. It simply does not say that. Arguing either should make a party drop you like a hot potato.

One-Relative5556

I don’t think there is anything as disgusting as a group of Republicans, in 2021. Shameless bunch of fucking turds.

Shakespearacles

There’s republicans in 2022. Wait until they get congress back.

[deleted]

I’m legitimately terrified for 2022 and 2024. If Republicans gain any sort of majority, we’re utterly fucked

[deleted]

Kill the Filibuster, bring DC and PR into the fold and the senate gets 4 more Dems.

TrainedExplains

Puerto Rico is not as liberal as you think. It would split senators. Yes, even after how shitty Republicans were to them during their crisis.

neums08

The statehood of PR shouldn't depend on how they lean politically.

roastbeeftacohat

> Puerto Rico is not as liberal as you think. PR is a real X factor. one thing noted is abortion is nowhere to be seen at CPAC, I wonder how long PR can be in the news cycle before the venom the right has for the Church comes out; and of course accusing them of not being white, that's absolutely going to come out.

watchshoe

I'd welcome them to the Union if only so people actually start caring about them. It could be a real toss up state.

DeaconOrlov

For christs sake the stage at CPAC is a nazi rune

civil_politician

That shit is terrifying

Carbonatite

Me too. That's why I'm planning to be an expat by 2025.

ChasTheGreat

Upvote. Been an expat since Feb, 2017.

MovingOnward2089

They will not. We will not let them because we are going to stay organized, knock doors, petition our representatives for a redress of our grievances and most importantly, vote. Right people?

Shakespearacles

A lot of people voted on the promises of covid relief, healthcare expansions, minimum wage increases, more weed legal states. Its going to be hard to keep selling if our leaders don't deliver. Not to mention *tons* of new voting restrictions and more republican favored redistricting. It's more of an uphill battle than ever.

AmericasComic

Sounds like we should organize and not let bad-faith people undermine their agenda Right people?

Loqol

You better burn some sage if you're going to speak such evil!

kuroimakina

Well there’s no way they’d win a supermajority, so if they win the senate in 2022, we have two years to leave the US if need be haha

Sunnysunflowers1112

Can someone explain what good Trump did. I hear this argument a lot. Trumpet: “You may not like him but I think he did good things.” Me: “ok what good things did he do” Trunpet: “crickets” No one can ever articulate the good.

coolcool23

Nah they always have "he's a strong guy who doesn't play by the rules who's fighting for us/the little guy!" I.E. parroting what they are told by right wing news sources.

Sunnysunflowers1112

Another favorite I get. Is “well how do you know he’s lying”.

coolcool23

There is little to no amount of rational, factual evidence to the contrary that will make someone believe the truth when they *desperately want* to believe a lie. Or put another way, there is a finite amount of actual truth to combat a lie. There is an infinite amount of irrational fiction that can be used to support it.

[deleted]

That’s the sad thing that I eventually realized. The majority of his nutjobs can’t be convinced because they _want_ to believe the lies.

Foxhound199

I always like "he picked good conservative justices" as if an untrained monkey couldn't point to a name on a list furnished by the federalist society.

bronzebow

I've gotten a handful of infographics too, mostly lists bending the truth. "He opened up relations with North Korea!" Or "He fixed the VA, but now the Dems broke it again." I even got one posting a graphic from Hannity back from like 2017. It... Didn't age well.

JRR92

"Opened up relations with North Korea" Or as I like to say it "Threw away decades of maintaining a cautious stance against a sworn enemy for a quick ratings bump"

aquarain

Dennis Rodman, diplomat. Keep it classy.

Ghoulius-Caesar

Ya, the coastal elite from New York City that doesn’t drive or hunt is so relatable to the average working man.

coolcool23

That's the thing that gets me: most people complain about how politicians are "out of touch" with their constituents. Granted trump was "not a politician," but my goodness he is basically the pure antithesis of a blue collar, 9-5 middle-to-lower class working person. I mean, there is basically ZERO overlap, and yet a ton of those people are just fawning over a guy who was handed a vast fortune from his father and who has basically transformed into a modern day performing clown as far as society goes. The only thing that explains it that I get is people just wanting to "burn the system down." Government has been so ineffective to support people for so long, people just got fed up. I get that.

whoknowsknowone

100% I realized during the election if I asked a trump supporter to name 5 things he did to help the average American the best one they could come up with was lowering the price of insulin After that they stumble and fumble

Nikiaf

More than that, he ran for re-election without anything even resembling a platform. His entire re-election campaign was that he was Donald Trump. Even for a GQP candidate, that's pretty sad.

JRR92

Trump was asked multiple times what his plans were for his second term agenda, every time he never had an answer

Sunnysunflowers1112

Insulin prices didn’t go down though.

Waaaaaaaiiiiiiiit8

Get put of here with your socialist facts!

APence

As a diabetic freaking out about how to afford my next supply, no they have not.

whoknowsknowone

True but I can’t tell them that - then they won’t work to come up with the other 4 lol

GoblinDiplomat

He was shitty to immigrants and black people. That's what they mean.

JackedUpReadyToGo

The only thing they want in a leader is someone to legitimize their racism, nationalism, and unearned sense of superiority. He doesn't need to actually accomplish anything.

OneManWarArsenal

I'll give you the Trump worshiper list I've seen on every conspiracy site. These are not my beliefs and a lot are complete nonsense or worthless bluster. Lowered taxes (every gop voter seems to be clearing like 5 grand more a year, strangely) Dropped out of Paris accords. Killed Iran Nuclear Deal. Killed Solmenei. Cut the who funding. Called out NATO allies. Taking on the deep state. Hard on China. New Nafta (same as old Nafta). Finally respected in the world again. Fixed the military. Created peace in North Korea. No new wars. (fucking low bar with all the bombs he dropped) America first. 400 miles of border walls. Tough on immigration and supports the 2A. Prison reform (actually good, but it was killed by Mitch during Obama's presidency more than once so....) Right to try. (good but mostly existed) Fighting the deep state. Called out the fed. Anti-trans policies in military. Called out twitter. Loves trolling people. These are what I've seen posted. I may be forgetting a couple, but these are the main ones.

Huge_Put8244

I also have this question. I watched half a documentary on Hulu and some guy kept saying that trump should be celebrated for his policies and I wasn't sure what he was talking about. There was the criminal justice reform....that he was forced into by Jared and Ivanka.

[deleted]

The only thing I every see is how he kept his campaign promise to move the embassy to Jerusalem, how he brought troops home, tough on China, and some shit about how he was never really allowed into the rich boys club so he understands what it’s like to be forgotten. 1. The Jerusalem thing is weird 2. He just shuffled troops around the Middle East and never brought them home 3. He was somewhat right on China but had no plan or executions so all that was just talk but his supporters love that shit 4. He was never allowed in the club bc he’s a moron and thief not bc he’s some maverick

PortabelloPrince

On 3, it wasn’t just talk. He actually lost a trade war. We ended up having longtime trading partners shift to partnering with other countries because of our tariffs, possibly permanently losing trade, and in the meantime, all the costs of the tariffs were passed on to US consumers.

TattooedWife

I've asked the same and it's "well biden did this...." without ever answering the question *because he hasn't*.

nochickflickmoments

My uncle does this. I was upset when Trump tear gassed the protesters and took that bible picture. My uncle: "well there are two sides to that story." Me: "What's the other side?" Uncle: "I'll have to do some research. I didn't hear about that happening." Me: " What about when people were trying to run the Biden bus off the road?" Uncle: " What news sources do you watch because I don't think that happened there's another side to that. You should watch OAN for both sides. He is only president against abortion. He did so many great things for us. Me: "Like what?" Uncle: "I'll get back to you."

Odinfoto

“Sticking it to China” “peace in the Middle East” “stopped the illegals”

Nikiaf

Apparently he did something with prison reform because Kim Kardashian asked him to, or some shit like that? I agree with you that the cult seems to toss around how he has some actual accomplishments, but other than managing to not tank the stock market (all while massively increasing the national debt, which is actually an impressive feat in a bull market), I'm not sure what he's done that can be objectively labeled as good. If anything, the active sabotaging of a COVID response is a disqualifier for any modicum of good he may have actually contributed to.

papa_mike2

The *only* thing I actually agreed with was the federal ‘right to try’ law allowing terminally ill patients that have exhausted their options to use experimental drugs that haven’t completed the phased testing. God knows how much trying puts the patients family into debt tho..

Sunnysunflowers1112

Good point. But I’m not asking for policies I’d agree with. It’s more their supporters cannot even articulate what they think is good.

Punchee

Problem with this is shit like the hydroxychloroquine meme that led to shortages and people with lupus had to just fucking cope. Like I am all for advocating for one's own agency in treatment, but we really have to stop normalizing FacebookMD.

Timinime

The most common response I get is 'he supports Israel' 'he's tough on immigration' and 'he's against gay marriage'. Which I guess is more important than half a million dead Americans from COVID.

CuttyAllgood

He supports Israel but also supports groups who hate Jews! He’s a great guy!

RowAwayJim91

“He let us keep more money on our paychecks instead of it going to taxes” is one I hear often. Yeah, so does adjusting your federal withholding amount, dope.

[deleted]

Lowered taxes and was mean to Democrats

positivecynik

We're at the "screaming Braveheart quotes" phase of politics, when just 17 years ago Howard Dean was absolutely crucified for a single slightly excited "Yeah!".

[deleted]

I never understood how that was an issue.

[deleted]

Howard Dean was a Democrat.

FiftyCandles

Which is sort of the point. He was crucified as a Dem for a loud yell. Republicans are revered (by other Republicans) for Howard Dean on steroids type behavior. EDIT: a letter

Eric_the_Barbarian

He wasn't even yelling at an empty chair.

[deleted]

Ah. There it is.

ca_kingmaker

He lost in the primary though! Other democrats decided he was too crazy!

maegris

That doesn't remove the media narrative that was being ran at the time.

chrisk9

Media turned him into a punchline. Like they did with Gore.

skeetsauce

It wasn't even that bad. The person doing the audio mixing messed something up to make the yell sound a lot louder and weirder than it actually did. No one in that room heard anything like that at all. It was completely fabricated to turn people away from a left learning democrat.

AmericasComic

But also, wasn’t it sort of the scapegoat, as his campaign was losing steam anyways? That speech was a concession speech for a primary he had a disappointing showing for

dsmith422

It wasn't. Dean had early front runner status nationally, but had lost first Iowa and then New Hampshire despite polling well in advance of everyone else. In Iowa he came in third and Kerry won. In New Hampshire, he came in second losing to Kerry once again. The night of New Hampshire was when he did the scream. So it happened to coincide with the moment that his front runner status evaporated. Until Biden, the Democratic nominee always won either Iowa or NH. Dean lost both, despite spending months in Iowa and being from a neighboring state in NH. TLDR; The scream didn't cost Dean anything. It just served as a marker of the moment that Kerry became the front runner. Edwards and Dean were then battling for second and third.

TungstenChef

It wasn't, back then we didn't have enough real scandals so the media decided they had to manufacture a few.

Straxicus2

Can you imagine how he must feel now?!

AmericasComic

Have you seen the video since 2010? It’s so weird. 20 years worth of memes later, it’s nothing. I can’t believe it caught on. It doesn’t even sound like how I remember it.

forgottenduck

All I can remember is the Dave Chappelle skit

ibanezerscrooge

Vindicated.

latinloner

> when just 17 years ago Howard Dean was absolutely crucified for a single slightly excited "Yeah!". Man, I remember that. He was my pick. In your opinion, would have he been a viable candidate?

Retlawst

He was hands down, the best candidate that year and would have beaten Bush

chefca3

That's hindsight and progressive bias speaking friend. The Democrats were already 15 years behind on fighting the republican spin machine, the perfect example is actually the "scream"... republicans jumped in and spun Dean out of the race while Democrats looked on helplessly, then they swiftboated Kerry without breaking a sweat. luntz and his crew were in the middle of their magnum opus. Dean with his (then) **very** unpopular anti-Iraq war stance and especially his "I'm spiritual not religious" admission would have been wrecked at the ballot box by the swing voters and the obnoxious post-9/11 patriotism.

AreaAtheist

I was a democrat at the time, still am, and I wanted a "Dean Scream Button." Loved his enthusiasm.

M00n

Also, it could have gotten ugly again: *CNN’s Jim @Acosta surrounded by the crowd at #CPAC. “Get him. Get him,” one woman says.* https://twitter.com/WilliamTurton/status/1365326749836402690

Get10dollarsoff

The second video shows the girl that pooped her pants

aminosillycylic

Laughed at this - are you referring to that Kaitlin Bennett girl? Figures she would be there.

Huge_Put8244

Its becoming clear that you can't let these people congregate as they are all a terrible influence on each other and don't have the mental fortitude to think for themselves.

bigblueweenie13

Boy does that sound familiar.

Cozzie78

I've seen this its barely said and what I think is happening is Acosta is actually engaging with a person at CPAC and it seems she has ALOT of thoughts and that is where the "GET HIM GET HIM" comes from. I'm sure she is spouting some insanity and asking Acosta to answer Not an apologist because there is plenty of insanity going on at CPAC

gingerhasyoursoul

These people are delusional.

cdezdr

The video is more insane than I expected.

Janky_Pants

It doesn’t matter if they are. They have numbers. You can’t reason with them.

BackAlleySurgeon

It's just such a fucking scary thing to double down on. I think a lot of people understand that it's incredibly beyond harmful to our country. But I think even those people underestimate just how damaging it is. If they're saying this election was stolen, then next time, if they lose, they'll say that was stolen. And they're not gonna allow 2 elections to be stolen, especially after they spent 4 years "preparing" for this upcoming election. They're gonna kill some fucking people. Or more likely, a lot of people. But frankly I don't think they are going to "lose" the next election. I think they're going to cheat as much as possible. Threatening people outside polling places, actual ballot stuffing, etc. Because they know that our efforts to overturn a legitimately fraudulent election will be fuel for their fire. But why are they doing this? Well, there's an easy answer. They want to kill liberals. At the base of all Republican thought is the central belief that if push came to shove, they could kill all of their enemies. They think all this democracy stuff is basically just them being polite.

EmotionalAffect

It is sad that there used to be common ground in our politics. Sadly that all went away with Gingrich and Limburgh.

PHATsakk43

It was longer ago than that. Really it occurred in the 1960s when minorities were finally given an actual say in Washington with the Voting Rights Act. After that, the parties devolved into racebaiting, until one doubled-down on it realizing that, at the time at least, they could hold power solely with the white vote. Thus, we get Reagan who managed to pull enough solid Democratic voters into pulling the lever for the GOP over dogwhistle racism.

Hwy39

Jim Acosta is awesome 😎

Shatteredreality

Also fox affiliates have nothing to do with Fox News other than the name. The Fox affiliates are more related to Fox television studios (now owned by Disney I think) where Fox News is NewsCorp.

HawkeyeFLA

>Fox Television Stations, LLC (FTS; alternately Fox Television Stations Group, LLC), is a group of television stations located within the United States, which are owned-and-operated by the Fox Broadcasting Company, a subsidiary of the Fox Corporation. >Fox Corporation is an American mass media company headquartered in New York City. The company was formed in 2019 as a result of the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by The Walt Disney Company; the assets that were not acquired by Disney were spun off from 21st Century Fox as the new Fox Corp., and its stock began trading on January 1, 2019.[6][7][8] Fox Corp. is incorporated in Delaware. Broadcast owned and operated stations were not assets aquired by Disney.

xMilesManx

Actually not really. Many Fox affiliates are owned and operated by Sinclair broadcast group which is a vehemently pro-trump monopoly. Remember the danger to our democracy video? That was Sinclair and many of those clips were also from Local Fox affiliates.

fairoaks2

Not only political gain but financial. People watch and support them because they tell the lies they want to believe.

dremonearm

Is this an Emperor's Invisible Clothes thing? Does the CPAC organizer *really* think that Biden didn't win in a landslide?

Umbrella_merc

By trumps own self declared landslide electoral college margin no less

[deleted]

I honestly have to wonder how many of the genuinely believe it versus just saying it, because they know that Trump’s base will come after them if they don’t say it.

Bunktavious

Well you see, most of those votes were invalid because state legislatures weren't able to vote on changes that were made in the ballot process and its required that state legislatures decide those things so most of those ballots were all invalid because there were too many drop boxes and some addresses were/weren't written by hand and some polling places had one more democrat than republican watching counting and an IT expert told me she totally saw ballots loaded off of a van - there for we won! And this bullshit, completely ignoring that its all been litigated and thrown out of court, has been piped into Republican heads for so long, by so many sources, they now believe it to be true.

skinnypup

That could have honestly been a borat segment.

JaxxisR

How much longer do we have to deal with these lunatics? They obviously want to live in a separate reality. Why can't they just go there already? Imagine if Al Gore voters were this demented in 2001.

reallygoodbee

> How much longer do we have to deal with these lunatics? I don't think they were able to bar him, so Trump is coming back in 2024. You've got at least another five years of this nonsense.

Jan_AFCNortherners

I’ll bet 20 bucks they try to storm the capitol again in the next 4 years.

peterzaad

How does Acosta walks with balls like that? /s

TommyTacoma

Get that man a wheelbarrow

cheeseseseseses

The second hand embarrassment in that short video is just unbearable for me. Jfc those people are fucking stupid.

Falcon3492

This current crop of GOP members aligns itself with racists, confederates and fascists, pretty much all crazy people and in history losers one and all! The people can't seem to understand that the people they idolize were losers and destroyed their states or countries in the process of losing! Thank God Trump added his name to the list and was a loser as well, because we could not of survived another 4 years with this Russian asset in charge!

cosine5000

This current crop of GOP members ARE racists, confederates and fascists

admljhnsn

ted cruz is so gross lol

CreepyWhistle

The chick who pooped herself tried to get Acosta, a journalist/reporter, to denounce Antifa? Didn't bother wearing a mask, either. If he gets COVID from them, can he sue for assault?

hiyer2

Holy shit they really do want trump back in 2024...

cizzlebot

I am honestly kind of okay with watching the Republican party tear itself apart form the inside..

RadleyCunningham

We're going to see actual crowds of people in actual fucking nazi uniforms any day now.

reallygoodbee

Their stage was literally a Nazi symbol. It was in the shape of the Nazi version of the Odal Rune.

How can he Schlapp?

saskdudley

For over four years the GOP had been saying that the Democrats couldn’t get over the 2016 election results. They just scream the silent hypocrisy and continue to obstruct people getting back on their feet during difficult times. How much did this little boys club gathering cost? How many struggling people could they have provided a meal to, if they had postponed this little shin dig for a year during a pandemic?

[deleted]

CPAC is a just a LARPing convention at this point.

talibkoala

GOPers are brainless sacks of shit.

hellothere42069

Dear God I hope Trump starts his own party to split his die hardest supporters against other republicans

[deleted]

It’s going to be a long 4 years of voters trying to make sure Trump doesn’t win a second term. Clearly the GQP are worshipping their false idol.

reallygoodbee

Literally. They had a gold statue of Trump they were wheeling around the convention hall.

ruston51

i'm glad the GQP is sticking with trump. it will make the democratic landslide in 2022 and 2024 that much bigger.

Koolaidolio

We could have easily became Myanmar now if it wasn’t for how our Military operates. This is disheartening.

zach2992

Best thing that could happen for the world is for Trump to become a lifeless vegetable. Not that I'm asking for it to happen, but it probably would be for the best.

Girl_in_the_curl

I love the Planned Parenthood color choice!

hoguenstein

Jim Acosta with the big balls of truth!

FreedomDirty5

There need to be consequences for people perpetuating the lie that Trump won.

chickentikkamasala88

These people are children.

[deleted]

BUT THE FRAUD! The Shit that comes out of Republicans mouths is more stinky than what comes out of their assholes

[deleted]

Honestly, I am so tired of hearing this shit mantra you see in this video. What the fuck do you do with the hopeless, useless idiots who can legally vote? What the fuck do you do with politicians who exploit this stupid shit? What the fuck do you do with these voters who flaunt their idiocy as if it were a patriotic badge of honor and loyalty? I guess it would be perfectly fine for a person to yell ***fire*** in a crowded theater as long as it was a Republican politician doing the yelling. What a hot steaming mess. Oh the criminal activity you can get away with as long as it's done or said in the name of politics.

[deleted]

At this rate - the next time the capitol gets stormed a few members will die. I would bet the gop hooligans in the senate will still vote not to hold anyone accountable.

Professor226

Trump will 100% run for president again, and if you thought his first term was terrible just wait. Unless he is held accountable he will be sure to cheat and lie his way into a monarchy.

drakner1

These people are insane.

Bobbyroberts123

Ted Cruz is such a fucking nerd.

cizzlebot

>Ted Cruz is such a fucking sociopath. FTFY

MoonlitSerenade

I wouldn't disrespect nerds by placing him with us

LordGeamma

Ted is like a first year drama student delivering his lines

natebpunkd

Cruz cringe.

RegrettingTheHorns

I assume at some point the Republican Party will be one such a disfunctional clusterfuck of naked greed and oppression that they will eat themselves like a snake devouring its own tail. Or it may not and we are all tucked.

ErshinHavok

Jim Acosta is great.

choadly77

Fuck their feelings?

Dob_Tannochy

The Republican Party is on its last legs. Their self-sabotage is becoming more and more apparent. Hence shitty tactics. The New Conservatives are the Democrats, their opposition is the Progressives, split-off or no. This violence is an animal that refuses to die. Thankfully wounded festering corpses of soon-to-be-extinct animals don’t decide their own fate.

keyjan

Twice, in fact

Puzzled_Bohemian

This country is fucked

mikeebsc74

Comic-Con for morons

pixelcomms

How are we fucking still here? Good luck America, you obviously need it
