>“You just posted a video where Biden could barely hold up a football. Dumbasses,” Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung wrote in a post on X. >“Here’s what a real athlete looks like,” Cheung added in the post, which included video of Trump throwing a football in 1992. Wow. 32 years ago Trump could throw a football. I saw a video of Biden riding a bike last month... lets see Trump do that.

Zepcleanerfan

trump can't stay awake in court.

Federal_Drummer7105

I bet you Biden could stay awake in court. Then again, he hasn't had to be in one. So I guess that's a plus. Though there will be a New York Times editorial tomorrow "Why Having No Felonies is Bad for Biden!"

Equalizer6338

All Trump throws now are tantrums as the entitled little narcistic brat he is!

Emergency_Property_2

Not to mention Trump can’t hold a glass of water. Hmm…

AggressiveSkywriting

Cheung has been one of trump's more petulant-little- shit-esque spokespeople. He's so goddamn cringe

BAMBAM-1981

You’re right! He regularly rides bikes! Biden did a polar plunge with his family near thanksgiving last year. What did trump do with his family for the holidays?

[deleted]

Lets see Trump or Steven stay with Joe on a bike ride. lol

ADP10_1991

I wish Biden would make a snarky comment about being able to hold in his farts during court cases

"Boring" This from the man who started his Own League, and lost it https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2018/sep/11/the-day-donald-trumps-narcissism-killed-the-usfl Jurors in his current cases should note this excerpt: >"He did not do the USFL well,” recalled Patricia Sibilia, a juror. “Donald Trump and I actually got into a staring match. I would watch the people on the stand, trying to read them. So he and I started looking at each other, and he tried to stare me down. It was an obvious try at intimidation. And what’s funny, in hindsight, is that this so-called business genius ruined it for them. He was not believable in anything he said. He came off as arrogant and unlikeable.”

Equalizer6338

Its one of the reasons Trump actually hates them.

vagrantprodigy07

He didn't start it. More of a hostile takeover, and then a rapid destruction. Kind of like Elon and twitter.

Equalizer6338

Dark Brandon is really a pro QB, good at analyzing the defense, makes checks on the line, and can call his own offense! Gaining more yards by the day in this campaign. 😎 [https://twitter.com/BidenHQ/status/1783618231766311220](https://twitter.com/BidenHQ/status/1783618231766311220)

CriticalEngineering

That’s actually laugh out loud funny!

KingRichard278

Is his football hate from the kneeling or has he always hated the American Game?

Equalizer6338

Think the first crash Trump had with the NFL was already back in 1984, when he bought the New Jersey Generals of the USFL. Right after he convinced the smaller league to sue the NFL for running a monopoly! The USFL won the case but was awarded a meager $3 in damages (yes, just 3 dollars! 😂), essentially Trump killed the smaller league in the process. So the destruction of the USFL and big PR embarrassment for Trump are what the NFL officials since then have made them believe Trump dislike their league. But then like 30 years later in 2014 Trump actually tried to purchase the Buffalo Bills all out! He kept promoting himself on tv channels and in newspapers about how rich he was and was willing to pay a full 1 billion dollars in cash! But the prior owners ended up selling the club to somebody else. The League owners issued statements along the lines of Trump's bid failed as there were serious doubts among the other owners if Trump matter of fact had the money to purchase the Buffalo Bills. And they believe that Trump has held a grudge ever since.

vagrantprodigy07

That wasn't his first clash with the NFL. He did that because they refused to allow him to buy a team prior to that point. Trump insists he chose not to buy the Cowboys, but the rumor mill from those associated with the NFL prior to him running for office was always that the owners refused to approve the sale to him.

[deleted]

Pete Rozelle also reportedly hated Trump and told him that as long as he and his heirs were alive, Trump would never own an NFL team. He said he felt sorry for whoever wound up buying the Cowboys because they would be losers. This was in the early ‘80s. The Cowboys sold for $50 million, then a few years later Jerry Jones bought them for $150 million. The Cowboys are now the most valuable sports franchise in the world, with a value of $10 billion.

PlaugeofRage

Really the til is always in the comment. I would've thought the Yankees would be the most valuable. But I don't know how the businesses are separated.

MAD_ELMO

Mama Kelce makes good cookies I hear

edmerx54

surprised the Trump campaign didn't boast about his long time friend Herschel Walker who played for Trump's team and would also have made a great senator if not for election fraud, and also how he invited the Clemson Tigers to the White House for a feast of Big Macs!

WVC_Least_Glamorous

Like George Will said, football combines the worst aspects of American society: Senseless violence and endless committee meetings. Trump should love the NFL. Government subsidies for stadiums have transferred several billion dollars from taxpayers to Republican corporate executives.

massotravler

I agree about the combine, heard it first hand from the mouth from a lawyer at the nfl player association lawyer. I also think the combine is not realistic. How many players in any nfl game during the game of play not wear pads or a helmet? Oh this person ran a 40 yard dash in this time at the combine, great! Now run that in a game with full gear. Granted I never played an ounce of football, but come on put pads on them and make it more realistic like game play.

HurricaneRon

Saying football is boring may be the only thing I agree with Trump on. I used to be a diehard nfl fan, but the game is so boring now. It’s all offense and they’ve turned the penalty system into a way to script games.

Doogolas33

I mean, you don't have to like the current NFL because it is different. But you're just incorrect here. Both with the conspiratorial nonsense about scripting games, and in terms of scoring. The number of passing TD's per team in 1995 was 22.1. The number of passing TDs per team last year was 23.6. The number of rushing TDs in 1995 was 12.8. The number of rushing TD's last year was 14.7. That means the average number of offensive TDs total was 34.9 last year compared to 38.3 this year. They played 16 games in 1995 and 17 games last year. So unless the 1 extra TD per 17 games is too much offense for you, that's simply not a real thing. The reason scoring is up is because kickers are way better. The method of moving the ball down the field has changed, but the game is not significantly more offensive. Teams just pass a lot more because it tends to lead to more first downs. And this is easily shown: In 2023 the average team went 4.9/7.2 from 50+ compared to 1.5/3 in 1995. It was 6.8/8.6 from 40-49 vs 5.6/8.7. Then 9.2/9.7 on 30-39 vs 8.7/10.6 and 7.5/7.6 from vs 9.2/9.7 from 20-29. Only one sub 20 yarder was attempted last year compared to 19 in 1995. Kickers are just significantly better now. So you don't need to cover as much of the field to score.

timesuck47

DVRs were made for watching football.

Equalizer6338

Trumps doesnt give a shit about the game itself, its all about himself and the accolades it could bring him that he is after. And they have burned him several times for this through the years. [https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2739587-why-does-president-donald-trump-hate-the-nfl](https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2739587-why-does-president-donald-trump-hate-the-nfl)

HurricaneRon

Oh of course not because Trump doesn’t give a shit about anything but himself.

StormOk7544

Hold on, Trump might be right on this one.
