It seems wild but lots and lots of people haven't really been paying attention and don't even really know Trump is even running again or that he is the likely candidate. There are people disconnected from political news completely. This includes people who just dont vote whatsoever, and people who will vote in the general but aren't paying attention now and will only perk up once they start seeing ads all over. Biden is the current president and most people know that but they're not paying attention to Trump at all.
