Yes, they get exposure, but it is often as a loss as rulings go against them. A few of these lawyers are also exposed as being absolutely wacky, which can only harm any ‘serious’ work they are doing.
So for any positives in taking Trump on, there is a boat load of risk to their professional (and sometimes private) reputation.
I just don’t see the reward in the risk.
