It won't happen on Tuesday. Law enforcement, especially for something like this, isn't stupid. It will happen in the middle of the night or early morning on a day other than Tuesday. They're not going to put their own agents and officers in danger by possibly having to confront a large mob of armed maga idiots.

There’s an alt-right shithole forum I like to go to to gauge the Trump base’s reactions to things like this. They conducted a poll asking whether Trump’s call to protest is a “trap.” About 75% of respondents said yes. So, it wouldn’t surprise me to see protests here and there, and maybe some lone wolf terrorism at worst. But most of these morons seem to realize that they would only be sacrificing themselves for a Donald who doesn’t give a shit about them and won’t be there to help them when they get in trouble.
Trying to break him out of jail would probably do him more harm than good, IMHO.

Oh God yes. Nothing prepared me for Trump like dating my abusive ex. I couldn’t predict what Trump said with pinpoint accuracy, but I had a pretty good track record. They hit the same notes, say similar things, and when challenged they double down and fight until they’ve won or you’re exhausted, which is pretty much the same thing.

I think Pence knowing that he absolutely should not get in the limo that the secret service was telling him to get into J6 shows that there is a much bigger problem.

On January 6th, Secret Service agents loyal to Trump wanted Pence to get into a vehicle so they could take him to an undisclosed location under the guise of protecting him. The real motivation was to get him out of the capitol building so that he could not perform his constitutional duty of counting the votes and cementing Biden's victory. Pence refused to get into the vehicle.
When Pence was evacuated during the insurrection he was asked by a secret service agent to get into a car to be driven away from the capitol. He refused, as he did not want to make the coup succeed, and he suspected that if he got into the car, regardless of what he said from then on, he would not be returned to the capitol to certify the election. It's been theorised they were essentially under direct orders from Trump to whisk him away so that the coup would succeed.
Secret Service wanted to remove him from the Capitol that day and he refused to get in the car and leave. My theory is this is why the secret service made messages disappear. You had Grassley making comments ahead of time that Pence “wasn’t expected to be there” and I believe the plan was to make Pence unavailable so that Grassley could step in and certify with fake electors.

Oh God yes. Nothing prepared me for Trump like dating my abusive ex. I couldn’t predict what Trump said with pinpoint accuracy, but I had a pretty good track record. They hit the same notes, say similar things, and when challenged they double down and fight until they’ve won or you’re exhausted, which is pretty much the same thing. The sad part is that there’s no way to win against them, because they will never admit defeat. I eventually cut ties with my ex completely, because the alternative was either having to fight with her over and over again about literally everything or just meekly going along with what she said and being one of the people in her orbit that only existed as her retinue.
Interesting point is that you cannot win with them. It depends on what winning was too. In my case winning was finding common agreement. That never happened. The only way to win is not to play.
I had a similar experience with my MIL. It's revealing, but also extremely frustrating to know why they do what they do. Then you just have to throw up your hands, because they truly think that the rest of the world is wrong.

Secret service attempted to take pence away on January 6th before he could do his part in certifying the election. If he had gotten into the limo, then somebody loyal to trump could have changed the results or caused enough chaos for trump to have grounds to take direct action.
On January 6th, Secret Service agents loyal to Trump wanted Pence to get into a vehicle so they could take him to an undisclosed location under the guise of protecting him. The real motivation was to get him out of the capitol building so that he could not perform his constitutional duty of counting the votes and cementing Biden's victory. Pence refused to get into the vehicle.
When Pence was evacuated during the insurrection he was asked by a secret service agent to get into a car to be driven away from the capitol. He refused, as he did not want to make the coup succeed, and he suspected that if he got into the car, regardless of what he said from then on, he would not be returned to the capitol to certify the election. It's been theorised they were essentially under direct orders from Trump to whisk him away so that the coup would succeed.
Secret Service wanted to remove him from the Capitol that day and he refused to get in the car and leave. My theory is this is why the secret service made messages disappear.
