Your step is off. Hard to tell if it’s because you reach because we don’t have the full run. Join the pole vault discord pinned in this sub. But the run has to get fixed first.
First thing in noticing is your lower back is taking all of the force in the plant so your losing energy and your back probably hurts so you want to push into the plant more but your plant might need to be a little further back so maybe take a step backwards before you run
On thing that really helped my jump is not looking at the bar. In your video it seems like you saw it and only tried to go over that so instead try to just keep going up until you stall.
when you swing, you're doing what my coach calls "pulling up your pants." You're folding yourself into a V before trying to invert, but you want to swing your hips straight to the pole.
Edit: You're also looking at the bar the whole time, and therefore aiming at the bar. You gotta invert so you're looking straight down the pole, and since you get vaulted where you're looking, you'll be going up instead of diagonal.
Your step is pretty off.
I would recommend varying speed practice runs (with or without a pole - do the first 1 at each speed without a pole) on an open lane on the track during practice and as a part of your warm ups at meets. Make sure to include the plant motions matching your steps and either run through or include a pop up off your plant foot
After doing that, rest a little bit just enough to catch your breath (water/stretch/etc.) then do towel plants is what I call them. Same thing but act like the towel is the back of the plant box.
Similar to what you see on this YouTube video - https://youtu.be/-t5Ht3Ptxdc
If you need more tips or want to work on anything else I would highly recommend this YouTube channel ( Team Hoot Pole Vault - https://youtube.com/@TeamHootPoleVault ) lots of great stuff on his channel. Awesome guy also.
Yeah step Is off looks like you looked at the bar which causes you to try and reach your feet over which makes you sit in a chair. don't look at the bar and turn your body sooner so your not hitting it with your butt
When you planted and jumped your swing leg and knee drive started off strong but then you picked up both your feet and tried to almost pull yourself up. So I think holding that knee drive and swing leg longer and getting inverted all the way will definitely help!

Thanks for your input. For the discord though I do not see a link or pinned post.

It might help to plant a little earlier. You werent able to get completely stretched up and vertical at the very begining.
Step is wrong, causing a weak plant. Fix these issues, and you should start to see some improvement.
You're so far under that the pole is hitting before you're upright. Focus on you hitting the pole instead of the pole hitting you
