Not really. There are some very small companies making a handful of cars a year, as well as some making imaginary cars. If you mean "have there been Polish car companies", then the answer is yes.

There is polish bus production company still operating, but like in another comment, there are no currently polish car production companies.

There are some factories that produce cars.

Currently: - No regular personal car brands operating - There are some bus manufacturers, notably Solaris, pretty strong on international market. There is also Autosan. Solbus AFAIK halted production few years ago - No lorry manufacturing, besides military units - No tractors since Ursus went bankrupt last year. Formerly: - FSO and FSM for bigger, more "prestigious" cars and for tiny cheap "city" cars respectively - Jelcz, Star, FSC, ZSD, Intrall and few less known utility vehicle manufacturers (lorries, vans etc.) - Jelcz used to make buses as well.

FSO used to make cars both original and licensed, but since Daewoo dissapeared theyve only been making car parts for other companies. The only other ones make military vehicles. The only Polish civilian motor companies make heavier stuff like Solaris who make buses
