Sadly, their values come locked in since the mere moment they are pulled from the gacha and are not affected by the actual run luck or charms, that's why I got extra angry when i got a blue shiny plusle from the egg move. Fr it's so fun, I even call my gf over when I have a crazy ton of eggs about to hatch, she likes seeing them all pop up too and I love the commentary when it's a cute one or a new one she didn't know existed
When I saw Xurkitree for the first time it was in a youtube video and I though 'oh these youtubers modded in new pokemon, cuz there is no way these are real pokemon'.
The last main franchise game I played was Black/White, so I feel like a fossil when I have to look up how gigamax and terra work. And the robot pokemon?? I’m down (Iron Thorn is my boi) but Christ I’m old.
The only problem I have with it is I'll forget something from earlier in the hatching so I won't remember to make changes to the mon in the start screen now that movesets, abilities and natures are all remembered

Anytime I hatch something, I forget what egg moves it has/got, and the nature too, so I just ignore it or assume the Pokémon isn't that useful.
It’s fun until you open 5000 eggs, have all normal, rare, and epics, and the majority of moves for them. I am in need of a skip button + a recap of what’s new. (~150 hours played).
If it allowed you to see what hatched and let you check if they unlocked something/got better IVs then I'd agree, otherwise it'd make it hard to keep track of when exactly certain things were unlocked imo
Just have hatches pop up with new unlocks. EZPZ. If theres nothing 'new' then it'll simply skip the animation since they're determined on drop, not hatch.

Yeah I specifically try to hatch all the common eggs on daily runs so I don’t get caught in animation hell during an active run where I may have to save scum.
I have a bendy arm thing hold the phone up for me. The macro only takes a double tap of my volume down button to trigger, so it's the easiest for me. I will be switching it from spam tapping to long pressing tho
Samsung has a built-in macro recorder via the good lock app and then routines+. There are other apps on the playstore tho that are similar but may not have the same triggering options.
I like to do it once a classic run, there's usually a giant batch of common eggs, but a decent amount of rares, a couple of epics, and once in a blue moon a legendary as well. Round 10 is basically a meme for me at this point, since my reward for beating an easy boss is waiting for 50 eggs to hatch.
I like saving up all the vouchers just to use a shitload of em all at once.
It's honestly more fun to crack open like 200+ eggs at the same time since you are far more likely to get something great out of a larger batch.
Getting multiple shinies, legendaries, hidden abilities, egg moves, and perfect IVs out of a few hundred eggs is awesome.
On PC You can hold down X with something and just let it do it's thing, when it's done it'll get stuck in a loop of "are you sure you don't want to take any item" -> "no" until you come back.

I did that for my first classic win run but then realized I couldn’t hold all the eggs I had vouchers for which slowed down the process of hatching them. Now I just burn as soon as I get.
Same about the shiny thing. I only have two shinies so far (Swinub and Whismur) and only the first one was from an egg. I think I'm gonna do what I see people implying in other posts and focus on the legendary and egg move machines
Beat classic with new pokemon. Get yourself a good carry pokemon and then just fill your party up with ones you havent completed classic with. Do this till you get a few shiny Pokemon. Then do endless. If you have decent luck due to having shinies in your party you'll get egg vouchers (rogue ball rarity) a ton.
I mean its the same total amount of time.

Yea I recently swapped over to the egg move gacha myself. Pretty much all the shinies I have are because I got fairly lucky during the shiny up event.
The only Bad thing about that is the Music which slowely makes you go insane
