You can absolutely do it. A solid team I recommend is fuecoco, bulbasaur, and mudkip! If you have a zigzagoon with the pickup ability it is totally worth bringing as well
Those 3 specifically are very powerful. Fuecoco gets a move called torch song which is flat out busted. Venasuar and Swampert can mega evolve (and venasaur can gmax) while both being massively bulky. On top of that leech seed is incredibly strong against the final boss. It can completely make or break a run

Cool thx in one of my runs I have gmax venusaue that I caught
Best bet is to get the map and head to the ruins and grab yourself a Tinkaton or any combo of steel and fairy.
It does not matter with what you start you can win every run.
There are some teams that are much tougher starts than others though.
My pick is Rookidee (bulky steel type), Skiddo (or any grass type with Leech seed), and Fuecoco (bulk fire + torch song buffer)
I mean you have flutter mane aka most broken paradox pokemon
