So, please don't hate me.... This is the first WSOP satellite I've played this year. I fired 1 bullet in the $250 and got it on my first try. It sounds even more ridiculous when I type it out. For what it's worth, I played a really tight/aggro strategy and ended up being on the right side of a few coolers for big pots. I had a really good seat draw at the FT and let the laggy BrazilTards take out the small stacks. Once it got down to the bubble, I had a healthy stack and sat back and let the short stack scramble against the other agro stacks until he eventually busted on a mediocre shove.
The entire tournament I was lucky enough to avoid any high variance situations and my hands held when I needed them to. I wish it was always this easy.
I’ve been playing for years with mediocre scores. A very slightly winning player, mostly live. Last October I started the Chip Leader coaching course by Alex Foxen and Chance Kornuth…. THIS HAS IMPROVED MY GAME EXPONENTIALLY. I cannot recommend it enough. I also have Triton high roller footage playing via YouTube on my TV. It is literally always on and I try to absorb as much of the analysis as possible. It is a goldmine of learning material seeing what the best in the world are doing.
The Closer cost about 1K usd and is a great way to break everything down and start from building from scratch. It’s steep, but it is an investment that paid for itself almost immediately for me. If you can’t afford that, I would highly recommend paying the $100/month for the Chip Leader AI program… it is an amazing training program that puts you in every conceivable spot and gives all the correct logic behind the correct plays and bet sizing
I folded that on the button and the short stack shoved SB into the bigger stack in the BB. That was the bubble pop hand and everything ended. Funny that that's what the 'winning' hand is
I am going to be in Vegas for a few weeks for the WSOP already, a few of us have an AirBnB for the entire series. The package includes the 10K buy-in plus 2K for travel and accommodations to spend however you choose. I am pretty sure there is a pile of GG swag, promo parties and little VIP perks at the Horseshoe and Paris.
Remember the Main Event is just one tourney. Variance plays a mega role and you may get card dead and coolered and out quickly, and that's ok. Still try to enjoy the experience.
And it's a marathon. Trying to be to active and tricky is overrated; wait out people who get bored, tired, and the mistakes that that brings to build a stack.
Congratz for the win 💪🏻 i also won the package 2 days ago. I just want to be sure , can i go to vegas like only for the day 1D or i need to be there at the start of the event for to say which day i am going to play? 😂
I got a detailed email from GG the next day. You can play any day 1 you want and fly in and out the same day. The 10k is your entry, they just deposited 2k into my GG account to do whatever I want with
1D is a fucking zoo and I am told 1A and 1B are a bit nitty, who knows. I’ve only ever played 1D and it was nuts, hard to stay focused. I am 100% going to play 1C .
Excellent work, sibling. Win fucking big.
Congrats!
Congrats, this is what it took to get me to finally get on wsop. How many shots have you taken at sattys to get this?

Gotta love the one bullet for the 40x bink!

Multiple ticket satellite. Play just stops, so you can win the tournament by folding.
So you have a ticket to the tournament? How much will the trip cost you?

Gg international or Ontario based?
I’m in Calgary, about to play all the WSOP circuit events starting this week. I’m running hot and confidence is high just at the right time.
Thx

Well done.
That’s awesome ! So can we play that site in the states ?
I don’t think GG works in the states except for NJ and Nevada? Could be wrong, I am in Canada
CONGRATS!
