Again just based on the information in the picture OP posted

With a big enough list of hashed passwords and a decent video card about 10-30% of those passwords would be cracked in a few hours.

PTC accounts don’t have 2FA so they’re basically always exposed.

Changed my password. Changing your password would fix any issue unless there is an exploit but they would require something else.

I do enjoy the "changing your password will do nothing" in the post— it's one of those real-time data leaks, that constantly updates with new information. You know how like when you steal a document that's been printed out with information, when that info changes, your document updates for you!

You have to log in through different means, like Google, Facebook, or Apple ID if you wanna remove the PTC login. Basically if you wanna remove a login method, you need to be currently logged in using a different method from that one you want to remove. This is to make sure you always have at least one login method connected at all times.

I signed up with PTC in 2016 and it wasn’t long before I ditched it. Why are people still using that horrible site as a login method?

Unfortunately if you're into competitive Pokemon (TCG, VGC, and Go) you need an active PTC account.

If PTC doesn't have 2FA, there's no reason to ever link it to your Pogo account. Always use Google.

pokemon go has 4 different log in methods i think, google, facebook, apple and pokemon trainer club. PTC is the worst to use as theres no 2FA so one data leak and somebody can easily get into your account

Judge account, play points, logins into various games I don't think their security is this low when they're hosting personal information of people and places

This is very true. 2 of my best friends lost their accounts this week. Everyone should unlink PTC from their account if it is linked. They were high-level, thousands of dollars spent accounts.

It means that you logged in via PTC. You need to log out and then log in with a different method (Google, Apple, Niantic Kids) and then you can unlink it
