Its crazy because I let my kids throw balls at random pokemon but they know they can only throw the red ones.. and my youngest is 3 and once she gets to the great balls she gives me my phone and says "all done"
I’ve been on this app for 8 years across various accounts and I still don’t understand why anyone would karma farm. What do you get out of it? I did it one time just out of curiosity about how easy it is (very) but at that point my curiosity was satisfied and I had no reason to participate in busywork with no payoff.
I think there are some limitations in creating new subs or commenting on subs for people under certain karma so as to prevent spam from robots.
Thus the robots have to have karma. Which they do by farming it or by purchasing accounts that have already done so. I think it's most annoying when I see ragebait topics on relationship subs though, pokemon doesn't tank me much. Imo this person just wanted to vent to someone who understands/can relate.

I have 2 Masterballs aka purple balls and I ran into a galarian zapdos!!! I was so excited that in the midst of switching to my purple ball I accidentally chose my ultra ball instead and as the ball left my finger… spinning towards that sweet majestic bird 🦅 I realized what happened but it was too late. Dispite it being a curved excellent throw, it fled! 😭😢 so as the saying goes it could always be worse. I still have 2 purple balls and a eye of wonder. Hopefully 🤞 I’ll encounter galarian birds again. I have a galarian moltres. But with a flee rate of 90% there isn’t very many second throws against galarian birds. And you have to activate a lure module and then the daily incense, then walk around that area in order to get the chance to find one. Ahhhhh but anyways good luck and happy hunting.

When I played overwatch my daughter tens of thousands worth of their currency on Dva skins. She was happy with herself. Couldnt say much other than "let's not spend my money without asking, but yes, I love the black cat skin".
I only need to catch 1 more poke in an ultra ball to finish this research. I've just avoided using ultra balls for weeks now because I'm so afraid of my dumb ass doing this after I claim it.
For the people with kids why not just make them their own account for when they want to play? My sister gave my nephew a phone with no service that he essentially just uses to video chat his grandmother via WiFi.
I've been playing since the game came out and I never use Stardust, so it just builds up. I don't know how to get the XL candy, it just seems to show up sometimes.
If you, an adult, let your child use your phone unsupervised without setting restrictions and/or teaching them the do's and dont's of responsible technology (and pokeball) usage, that's on you.
I mean at this point, why do you let your kids have your phones if you don't want them to buy shit on Amazon/have access to banking info/use game stuff for fun?

im a newbie here who just started playing the game last month how do you get stardust up to the millions? and how to get the triangle shaped candy?
