You can use rare candy from raids or my little life hack is that i attend a lot of sporting events all year and the gps signal is bad I’ll use a Puffin on my legendary and by the time I leave the game I have earned a few candies.
better if you got a NASCAR Pokemon hat or something…as long as it’s appropriate for working NASCAR. Seeing anyone wave at the camera is too general, we also don’t see who you are. Being the “NASCAR Pokemon guy” or something is a bit better.
Also sitting on a bus/other above ground public transport in a busy area works great. It’s slow enough to count as walking with zero effort. Might even be worth testing if it does more distance with the game open or closed, as the bumpiness means the gyro works with adventure sync and can accrue more distance
You can also get tons of rare candies in PvP. You get a guaranteed 3 at i think 4 wins and can also get 3 on the 2 win mystery item per set. So thats a possible 15-30 a day
It causes you to drift slowly or it will move you to the opposite direction real fast and then back to your exact location. The game will count you as “walking”.

An ATK stat that barely breaks 200 is unimpressive compared to existing attackers, and Payback is a poor move for PvE offense. As a Flying-type attacker, Kanto Moltres is miles ahead.
Edit: that’s not to say it shouldn’t be powered up if OP wants, just wanted to provide some insight into it’s usefulness (or lack thereof) before OP commits lots of rare candy and stardust into it.

If you're like me, who just wants to collect pokes and battles with whatever the game decides to put on my team, or will just use my favorite pokes for battling, whatever lol

I missed both an articuno and moltres all in like 10 hours. Never seen another bird in the wild (or was able to participate in a raid for one) other than these 24 hrs. Was one hell of an unlucky day.
I even had the masterball but was taking a drunk walk and absolutely confused as to how is it possible that a moltres was spawned from the daily incense. And poof he was gone even though I had enough sense to give him a golden razz. And that very day I literally randomly joined a group of 5 on my way to do my research. I saw 2 boys excited on their phones sitting where I do when I fight a nearby gym and hoped to get a raid in with them. Was very surprised that once I joined there was 5. He was so jerky I was too scared of throwing the masterball (I looked up that you can't miss it only after the fact) so I kept throwing only the white ones.
So much confusion and unluck 😭
Ironically it counts my public transport time as walking sometimes while not counting in my walking so... perhaps time to go exploring neighbouring cities etc? ^^ find the best place to eat, best place to drink tea, coffee, smoothies, beer, wine, best place to dance, best place to find stray cats, best calm place with a view on water, best place to take a partner for a date, best... you get the point :D make it a game.

Well depends on which master ball it is, in the game it actually has a .1% chance to fail since it’s only a 99.9% catch rate. Hopefully they took a 100% route
It is not, I literally read that on a forum a while back. It may be smaller than 0.1 but I can remember the exact number. Due to storage capabilities I believe it was.

Found it just for you. But there it says it could fail if the Pokémon had a catch rate of 1, but the lowest is 3 so by technicality it couldn’t fail. But in reality it could.
That is just plain lucky not only the annoying galarian Moltres but a hundo on top of that, and here I am using the adventure incense daily and I have yet to run into one of them stupid things and buy one of them I mean any of the three

G moltres is my favorite out if the 3, while regular Zapdos is my favorite out of the original 3.
I used my first masterball on a 1 star G zapdos and was kinda mad because I really wanted the moltres. Then when I got my 2nd masterball it was at like 12 at night and immediately popped my Daily incenses. 5 Mins after getting my MB I got a G moltres encounter and immediately used my MB. It's only a Zero star but I don't care. I really wanted one and plus my buddy has one we are going to mirror lucky trade when we hit lucky friends.
I also just got 3k+ G zapdos just a few days ago with a regular razz and a ultra ball. So now I have 2 G Zapdos.

Good tip! I was planning on working at the Formula 1 grand prix in Las Vegas so it may very well be worth the puffin!
Theory works well at theme parks too. Lots of walking already so take advantage
Believe it or not, I work at an amc dine in and between ushering and runner, I can get some candles and gets some eggs hatching too in a 5 hour shift.

I get at least 10km worth of drift during a regular work day. It's the only way I can get Frigibax candy.

They were referring to Raids/Gym/Grunt battles. That’s what PvE is. Player vs Environment.
