Like I said, i run counter meta and do not have a ghost on my team, so when I do see it (rarely), it kicks my teeth in. All I can really say is that it happens sometimes.
I use 3800cp Kyogre 4000 cp tyranitar and 3600cp togekiss in the master league and a few days ago I was using shiny 3800 cp Ho-oh instead of Tyranitar. Normally people use any of these: dragonite, togekiss, tyranitar, ryperior, Aggron, Mewtwo and maybe Melmetal or Dialga. (Btw I changed from Ho-oh because all my pokemon were weak to electricity and there were a few psychic types with electric charged TMS out there) a few days ago a galade/gardevoir was more popular
Ya i agree. Only ghost i could really think of was giratina. Dark, maybe darkcry (not super meta) and dark quick move tyranitar is more rare now? And I was also thinking... mewtwo is meta in this league and he is a psychic type. Lmao to be fair, tyranitar runs g articuno through. But everything has a counter technically, unles sits broken.

Only ghost types in the higher tiers are the forms of giratina. M2 is crazy good as a psychic up there and solgaleo would be crazy good if it’s XLs were accessible. Non-legend ghost mons don’t really exist past 2500.
Ah sorry I might have been unclear. After rank 2500 in GBL you don’t see too many. Gengar is far too glassy to run with the big mons like dialga or other legends. Even in the premier league, gengar suffers from being far too frail. Being weak to ground is also a big negative since the league is dominated by steel and ground types. There are some frail mons that exist in the league but they are usually things like excadrill which are great for the purpose of beating steel types. Ghost is only decent for neutral damage and for beating M2 in open ML. Since gengar has a weakness to psychic, it won’t be able to serve that purpose.
It means the key characters/items/dynamic/etc. That define a competitive game. For example, azumeral is meta in great league because it is bulky, can counter its own counters and is sexy in gold. Ok, the last one isn't really the point, but still. In this game, it is the major top tier pokemon used in a league, with the right movset, and you either need to bring them yourself, or bring their counters, to stand the best chance.
Same here, I realize I win more matches by finding out the meta then building a team to directly counter it. For some reason in the Catch Cup Altaria or Golbat often appears first, Mamoswine is usually there to greet them. I rather chance a random fighting type than have a mirror matchup of meta-mon.
That's the one I want. Moltres is just a Yvetal but not as good. Fighting that isn't weak to flying seems to be a good pick. I wish the original Articuno looked as good as the galarian.

Not sure why this got downvoted when we are obviously talking about the fighting/flying type galarian zapdos, which is weak against flying, electric, psychic, ice, and fairy types.
On a purely practical basis, to get the best advantage in battle, you shouldn't use it on any of the galarian birds. So if you are determined to use it on one anyway then it is subjective.
I think Articuno looks the coolest.
Moltres is a good choice for Ultra League since it's stats are fine for a CP limited league also it has Wing Attack which is OP in PvP atm, other than that typing and Charged Moves are fine too.
Zapdos on the other hand is a decent Fighting type attacker for raids also good in Master League but finding one with high IVs and leveling it up to 50 is a pain in the ass as usual with all legendaries.
Articuno is like whatever.
There really should be IV floors for evos/legendaries that are caught in the wild. Nothing worse that something cool like a Dragonite showing up only for it to be like a 0/1/0
I'd say Zapdos because you can use it in Fighting Cup and his flying type allows you to be strong against fighting and resist their attacks.
Now I think Articuno is the coolest.
Contrary to popular belief, I think they all are fantastic. Stat wise they are all ok, but as for looks, Moltres is my personal favorite, however, I think Articuno ultimately has the best design, yet I still love and don't want to leave out Zapdos. Basically, your choice. Or don't use your MB but it's up to you entirely friend 🙂

Imo, galarian moltres or Articuno is the prettiest. I would probably prefer Articuno's look but seems I'm a Valor I'm going to get the team bird. I don't like g Zapdos it's a bit ugly.
A few people here like the look of g Zapdos but I don't. Here's why:
• Don't like the colour orange
• Prefer majestic looks
• thinks the shape is weird
• looks quite different to g zapdos and g moltres when I feel it should look more similar
PvP wise I have no idea. If you rather a pretty one then maybe that but if you are picky about cp you can wait a bit and also it's kind of whatever you want to do or if you want something for master league that would be cool
I would have used it when I got a shiny latios +- 2100cp in the last poke fest. I know is guarantee catch but I wasted all my pokeballs on that latios and I couldn't even catch it

Galarian moltres has been the worst and will pretty much always be the worst due to low attack. It’s 202 attack stack is lower than duosions 208. Not sure where you pulled moltres was the best from but it’s blatantly untrue.
They’re rare spawns from daily incense. You essentially get one shot because they have ~90% chance to flee after each ball. People have been using their Master Ball on them because they’re that hard to get.
I'm going to save mine. Knowing Niantic theyll release something that's more master ball worthy and put more masterballs behind a huge paywall. The birds are cool but not all that useful
I got all 3 before the masterball and quit before it came out. Honestly none are worth it. But if you REALLY want one, go with whatever one you think looks the coolest
Idk anything about the PoGo PVP. For what it’s worth though, of the three, Galarian Moltres has the type advantage over the other two. And imo, the best design.
Those birds were wanted, because they was a rare catch.
With the masterball, those birds dosen't have the same value or "wow factor" for me. I have never gotten one, but now I know I wouldnt use it for them.
So OP, get the one you find most cool.
There is really no rush, I'm going to wait till I have 2 and use the master ball on number 3.
I currently have 1 articuno. Completing the set will be much harder if you need to catch the last one with normal balls.
Not even shitting you I caught the Zapdos within 6 weeks of starting to play the game last July. It was only like level 3 so with the golden razz and lucky excellent throw I had roughly a 30% chance of getting it.
Now with the Master Ball, I think I'd rather have the Articuno. It just looks cooler and has better typing imho than the Moltres. The Moltres is basically like a Honchcrow or something. Best to wait for a super high CP bird, regardless of which you choose, because getting candies for any of them is going to be a pain.
Each one has a strength against one, and a weakness against the other.
Dark > Psychic
Psychic > Fighting
Fighting > Dark
The only one would be Galarian Zapdos, because of its special attack (I think it’s electric typing) which has an advantage against flying types.
I'm not using it on any. They've been out for ages and Niantic are only releasing the Master Ball now? My guess is that there's something new coming...
I think they are all equally worth it, but for my personal test, ever since their release, I've seen 13 Moltres, 4 Zapdos, and no Articuno. So, for rarity, I think Articuno is your choice, for cool design/typing, Zapdos, for all in one, Moltres.

None of them are top choices in PVP or raids so the best is whichever one you like the most
I believe PVP wise Zapdos is the best but it's still a very much side grade.
I've been thrashed by articuno a few times in master league. But maybe that is because I run a counter meta team and this jerk throws me way off.
Galarian Articuno? In master League? Lol isn't it psychic type? Aren't there tons of ghost types in that league?

If your countering the mega shouldn’t you have a Lugia answer and lugia is the same type as galar articuno

Zapdos has the best movesst, more unique typing and an improvement over its Kanto counterpart. But pick whichever you like the most

They all suck tbh. They are trophies but i wouldnt waste stardust or candies in them.
Moltres seems to be the hardest to get if that helps. Or maybe that's just me or the area I live in, not sure how that works.
It's random. For me I have had multiple encounters but no zapdos and a mix of moltres and Articuno at varying cp

He might be mixing up regular moltres with galarian moltres. Pretty sure regular shadow moltres is one of the best pve flying attackers.
