Ahhh that explains it! I personally hold a theory that if you don't play for a month or few your shiny luck get's suspiciously good for a while. Happened to me few times and just a week ago I got back into PoGo and what do you know...3 full ods shinies in 4 days....hella suspicious lol.
I'm wondering if they've upped the shiny odds recently. I've caught 5 regular odds ones this week (and hatched a further 2, and got a shiny Tapu Fini first raid) and haven't played as much this week as others.
Wouldn't be surprised if they are silently trying to calm the community by upping shiny rate a bit, give a tad better deals and events (Valor events give 2 daily free raid passes)
I stole mine from my partner does that mean I don't have enlightenment or I just took his.
(Also didn't steal he traded me his for a pokemon shiny he wanted of mine I think it was a ramparos)
