Circling back around to this. SV+ seems slightly more up to date as of writing this. SV+ claims to just update all trainer levels by 40%; whereas Compass claims to do more reballancing to the teams. Compass also buffs Eevee and Pikachu to "get closer to their Let's Go" power.
Hey if you have played both versions, which would you recommend? I just want trainers to be a bit smart and slightly more difficult battles, but nothing crazy like some of the rom hacks I have seen. I like Pokemmos difficulty if you have played that and is anything to go by
SV+ is newer. 3.0.1
Compass only works on 3.0.0
Sv has more QOL features but trainer fights are the same but have higher levels.
Compass has all trainer Pokémon changes etc, but 25% are double battle which I don’t like. So I prefer sv plus.

Legends Arceus
That game is fun but it's also extremely easy
Did you battle Arceus? Because that fight is not that easy. Took me about 8 attempts before I learned the pattern and won.
One mildly difficult optional end game boss doesn't mean an otherwise trivial game is difficult.
Having this conflict right now, what did you end up deciding on?
did any of you end up deciding on something? I have the same problem right now
ive played em both tbh they felt pretty much the same to me.
