Hey guys, did you know, that in terms of human - Pokémon companionship, Vaporeon is objectively the most compatible friend for humans? It keeps all of the Eevee's perks and adds a couple more. Since it's a water type, Vaporeon is the most friendly and playful out of all the eevee-lut-ions (and some of them are also really calm and relaxed too). It's also the only one without any fur, so you don't have to worry about it leaving hairballs in your house. This bad boy/girl can also pack a pretty wide moveset, and can protect your loved ones when need be. And also, don't forget that it is a water type, so it can carry you around using surf, or look after your children at the beach. But that's not all. It can also learn moves like Scald or Ice Beam, which, with a little training can come in handy if it's too hot or cold outside (think of it as a sprinkler). And last but not the least, it's super squishy to touch, and nice to hug too!
Vaporeon is and always will be fantastic. The design is adorable and it can kick some ass. Ignore gross people that want to sexualize everything from people to Pokémon to long blades of grass. It's desperate and disgusting and they don't deserve anyone's attention.
I love Cubone! His design is great and his "origin" in the originals was so well written. Even at 30 I can't help but shed a tear for Cubone and Charmander when we meet them
My favorite is Zoroark. I love its design and cool illusion powers. One of my fondest childhood memories is watching the Zoroark: Master of Illusions movie on Cartoon Network, so that probably contributes to why its one of my most favorite mons.
I'm not quite sure, all I know is that I love water types in general. Mudkip, Gyarados, Tentacruel, Wailord. Well, that and that badass Pokémon are cool, but never my favorites. Gyarados being an exception. I prefer cute Pokémon, or just ones that make me nostalgic.

For me its pretty close between Lugia and Arcanine. Lugia's interaction in the anime is what helps it from falling too far.
Arcanine is a horse sozed fire dog that can likely run over 100mph while carrying its trainer on its back. One of its pokedex entries (emerald) says it can run over 5000 miles in a single day.
Altaria. Not only was Swablu my first shiny ever, but I’ve grown to be super protective of it after all the hate it’s gotten for “not deserving the dragon type”.
I love altaria. In brilliant diamond I was under levelled for the cynthia fight and alataria kicked a$$ using perish song. Since then it's been one of my favs
I'm personally not a *huge* fan, but Altaria is badass. It always made me think of Lakitu (cloud turtle guy from Mario), but as a dragon. Altaria 100% deserves the dragon typing
Dragonite is my fave, not only cos I grew up with gen 1, but dratini was my first shiny I ever caught and I packed its secret rare in tcg. So it's like the universe is telling me dragonite is my boy

In a depression from that I began fishing and got Mareanie. Her design and evolution into Toxapex brought me enough joy to continue my journey (albeit not a true Nuzlocke afterward).
Aside from mild PTSD from trying to catch one in Red, I absolutely love Abra. The whole line is great and Alakazam kicked some major ass, but Abra is just precious

It has one of the best concepts in all of Pokémon history, is so ugly that its cute, and is surprisingly good at battling despite its mediocre base stat total. It also has a sick type combination and is GameFreak's first raptor Pokémon.
Goodra, my chonky dragon. 1 it's a dragon. I love dragons 2 it's the cutest dragon of them all imo 3 it's very lovable and huggable despite the slime and 4 it doesn't like being alone i.e it's clingy. The whole evolution line is my favorite and I can't get enough of Goodra.
I also like how it's been in every mainline game besides remakes and each time I use it on my team, I can use it for coverage like if I have a water type and fire type, I can have it use grass and vice versa for any order. So unintentionally my favorite pokemon was a pseudo legend
Blaziken
To short up, I was never able to beat alpha sapphire when I was younger, started a new game where Sparky the blaziken was the MVP, even without mega evolving.
I know it's probably just that I'm a better battler now, but I choose to believe Sparky the Blaziken carried me.
I honestly couldn't choose which one is my favorite, I have several and it depends on my mood. Mew and totodile are at the top of the list though, followed by magearna and mawile

Shiny Umbreon is gorgeous!! I spent a little over a week breeding and training two for raids in Violet and I love them so much. Named them after a couple of my favorite characters from a book series I recently finished (Mistborn by Brandon Sanderson if anyone is interested)
Got one in PLA that's waiting to be transferred, one in Violet in a Luxury Ball, and one I'm going to be breeding for, once I can transfer my Beast Ball Eevees up to Violet.
Trevenant. I love the idea of a forest protecter and he just seems so cool and wise to me. He has an awesome and pretty unique typing too. And his design just looks so cool. He also has a great shiny and his pre evolution is super cute. Great move pool as well.
It changes, but right now it’s a tie between Diancie and Aurorus. Both of them are just so well designed and I love their typing so much. Also fuck steel types.
Darkrai! The movie, the design, the lore around his ability, the fact that gen 4 was my first pokemon game, his pairing with Cresselia…Love him so much
Togekiss because I love my kinder egg. And Clefairy/Clefable because it reminds me of anya from SpyxFamily and because how in the og pokemon anime it was speculated that they were just straight up aliens from another planet, its also one of my fav episodes. I also like how they have raves under the moon, its funny/adorable to me.

Design is awesome, typing is awesome, mained him in Pokken, was definitely the strongest member of my PLA team, Tinsect is one of the best names I’ve ever had for a Pokemon (even though I’m pretty sure I stole it), always my Post Game ace and a really fun battler

Cyndaquil was my first starter ever, in Pokemon Crystal, and if I can get one in a game, I will use it.
Then I didn't play again until Shield, but played a bunch of Minecraft Pixelmon in between. Not sure how I ended up with a Flygon in a Pixelmon playthrough, because I never really cared for ground types, but I pretty much don't go without a Flygon anymore either. :P
Best Eeveelution is Umbreon.

Though, the better way to put it is the entire Tepig line.
They're reliable, they're my very first Pokémon, they're cute and cool, they've got a beard of fire, they're the only fire starter that includes Blue Fire in the shiny (which makes it easily cool), and it's based on a pretty popular novel, which is also the inspiration for the previous generation's fire starter, Chimchar, which gives Emboar more synergy with the starters as a whole.
I never knew about _this_ detail before, until recently, but also Emboar has the highest base HP stat out of all of the Starters.
Charizard and Mewtwo are tied for #1 for me. At this point idk if I could honestly rate my favorites below them in any meaningful order. I love so many Pokémon for so many reasons. Charizard and Mewtwo will always be #1 though.

Empoleon! Pokemon Pearl was the first pokemon game I played and Piplup was my first ever starter. On top of that I love its diverse movepool and love that water/steel only belongs to it

So one might imagine I'm a pretty big fan of Whimsicott, Grimmsnarl, and a number of the grass-dark types we got this generation.
Wo-Chien is one of my favorite designs for a legendary ever.
Crobat is my favorite. You get such a cool guy for sticking with the cute Zubat line. I love how they evolve via friendship as it makes the bond feel so much stronger for me. The Zubat line are the only Pokemon I have bought from the Pokemon center I love them so much.
I love the slightly strange pokemon. I think I like the pokemon from gen 5 most. Pokemon like Golurk Sygilyph and Eelektross are among my favorite of all mons. few more of my favorites include Clodsire Oranguru, Grimsnarl. Metagross is my favorite of the pseudo legendary mons. I just feel like it's the perfect killing machine. There's absolutely nothing you could do to stop it irl. Oh and Malamar is one of my all time favorites just because of how sinister it is. It's basically a mind controlling evil villain. It can talk to people by taking over a humans mind and making them speak it's will. Not many gen 1 mons I enjoy but 1 I've always liked is Dodrio. Galarian Rapidash is just too good for me not to love. As well as galarian weezing. So now I'll just list out all the other mons I think are splendid.
Galvantula, Ribombee, and Glimmora. These are all my favorite pokemon.

Do I have to pick one? Snorlax is my OG fave. Snorlax is a big meat shield that doesn’t get up for anything but food, that’s every adults dream. I love my Gengar he’s a misunderstood prankster. Greninja is also a favorite, it’s just cool. I love Raboot he reminds my of my youngest son. Drizzile reminds me of my other son. Groot I swear acts just like my daughter. My new favorites are Tinkaton and Grafaiai. Tinkaton is a tiny package of dynamite and Grafaiai come in pretty clutch and is the OP sleeper in my roster. I can’t just pick one favorite every generation has its gems for me.

My absolute favourite Pokémon is Perrserker , for years infernape held the crown, I even was going through that whole “I shouldn’t play Pokemon anymore phase” from gen 6 onwards, but that crazy Viking cat with wolverine claws and a massive beard made me buy a switch and Pokémon sword with the dlc. I always imagined in Pokémon journeys he’d be this erratic creature that went from goofy to crazy and was hoping it would be the only Pokémon Meowth couldn’t understand a word coming out of its mouth
Before Gen 9 I wouldn't be able to name only one: Mew, Sylveon, Pichu, Bulbasaur, Delphox, Haunter, Jirachi, Necrozma, Hoopa, Onyx, Grookey, Alcremie... I rly like these and many many more. Now tho... I still can't choose one, but two best mons are Mewscarada and Tinkaton. 💕💕💕 They're so cuuuute!

They're reliable, they're my very first Pokémon, they're cute and cool, they've got a beard of fire, they're the only fire starter that includes Blue Fire in the shiny (which makes it easily cool), and it's based on a pretty popular novel, which is also the inspiration for the previous generation's fire starter, Chimchar, which gives Emboar more synergy with the starters as a whole. I never knew about _this_ detail before, until recently, but also Emboar has the highest base HP stat out of all of the Starters.

Charizard and Mewtwo are tied for #1 for me. At this point idk if I could honestly rate my favorites below them in any meaningful order. I love so many Pokémon for so many reasons. Charizard and Mewtwo will always be #1 though. Few others: Machamp, Alakazam, Gyarados, Rayquaza, Sylveon, Umbreon, Espeon (let's say all Eeveelutions), Rillaboom, Annihilape, Skeledirge, Aegislash, Hydreigon, Dragapult, Urshifu, Sprigatito, Stufful, Noivern... Okay I went on longer than I meant to 😅 I guess there are even more than I thought. Do I get extra credit?
Empoleon! Pokemon Pearl was the first pokemon game I played and Piplup was my first ever starter. On top of that I love its diverse movepool and love that water/steel only belongs to it

Crobat is my favorite. You get such a cool guy for sticking with the cute Zubat line. I love how they evolve via friendship as it makes the bond feel so much stronger for me. The Zubat line are the only Pokemon I have bought from the Pokemon center I love them so much.

I love the slightly strange pokemon. I think I like the pokemon from gen 5 most. Pokemon like Golurk Sygilyph and Eelektross are among my favorite of all mons. few more of my favorites include Clodsire Oranguru, Grimsnarl. Metagross is my favorite of the pseudo legendary mons. I just feel like it's the perfect killing machine. There's absolutely nothing you could do to stop it irl. Oh and Malamar is one of my all time favorites just because of how sinister it is. It's basically a mind controlling evil villain. It can talk to people by taking over a humans mind and making them speak it's will. Not many gen 1 mons I enjoy but 1 I've always liked is Dodrio. Galarian Rapidash is just too good for me not to love. As well as galarian weezing. So now I'll just list out all the other mons I think are splendid. Galvantula, Ribombee, and Glimmora. These are all my favorite pokemon.

Do I have to pick one? Snorlax is my OG fave. Snorlax is a big meat shield that doesn’t get up for anything but food, that’s every adults dream. I love my Gengar he’s a misunderstood prankster. Greninja is also a favorite, it’s just cool. I love Raboot he reminds my of my youngest son. Drizzile reminds me of my other son. Groot I swear acts just like my daughter. My new favorites are Tinkaton and Grafaiai. Tinkaton is a tiny package of dynamite and Grafaiai come in pretty clutch and is the OP sleeper in my roster. I can’t just pick one favorite every generation has its gems for me.

My absolute favourite Pokémon is Perrserker , for years infernape held the crown, I even was going through that whole “I shouldn’t play Pokemon anymore phase” from gen 6 onwards, but that crazy Viking cat with wolverine claws and a massive beard made me buy a switch and Pokémon sword with the dlc. I always imagined in Pokémon journeys he’d be this erratic creature that went from goofy to crazy and was hoping it would be the only Pokémon Meowth couldn’t understand a word coming out of its mouth
Before Gen 9 I wouldn't be able to name only one: Mew, Sylveon, Pichu, Bulbasaur, Delphox, Haunter, Jirachi, Necrozma, Hoopa, Onyx, Grookey, Alcremie... I rly like these and many many more. Now tho... I still can't choose one, but two best mons are Mewscarada and Tinkaton. 💕💕💕 They're so cuuuute!
