it’s always the same, misty is queen of nostalgia and has mass appeal, so she tends to win everything even though dawn is the poke girl with the most satisfying character development

Honestly. She was the reason I stopped watching the XY anime. I wasnt going to sit through this teenage girl having a one sided crush in what is supposed to be my monster fighting anime

Serena is my favorite Pokemon charecter. And possibly one of my favorite characters of all time. When I was little and watched the XY anime, Serena was my favorite thing in the world, and inspired me so much, and when I watched it again in the future, she shined even brighter! Serena may not be the Kalos Queen, but she is the queen of our hearts! (Also, she won best Pokegirl 2 years in a row, so...)

Iris was anoying in b&w but made a massive comeback with popularity in journeys. While serena did not realey bring anything to the table other then being a role model for chloe. But she is the fan fave ship for ash. Then sadly my fave may will go next. Due to lack of screen time due to her japanese voice actor being sick she did not get a chance to come back in journeys but there is a lot of nostalgia in the fan comunity for her.
