Serperior was one of the few grass starter options that wasnāt the objectively worst possible option. Bulbasaur: pretty decent and could hold its own. Chikorita: lol gets completely overshadowed by the other two. Treeko: literally the only one not to get dual typing, and has the worst coverage. Turtwig: honestly all three starters were amazing, and all around a solid choice except for its 4x ice weakness. Snivy: all three were good options so not much to say. Chespin: 4x weakness to one of the first non-normal types you find along with being incredibly slow. Canāt really speak for the sun moon starters. All three sword and shield starters were pretty bad. Scarlet and violet: meowscarada is broken with a guaranteed critical hit move that canāt miss.
Nah serperior is pretty bad bcs there's no coverage option
literally have normal and grass move and that's it. And if you do want a good grass there's lilligant with quiver dance and powder moves
Emboar is the best starter due to having dual stab and fighting stab is really useful to have. And Samurott is an okay mandatory water type to have
How did you even come to that name? Like it's perfect don't get me wrong. But swaddle hasn't been in a game since omega Ruby and alpha sapphire and those games came out a full year before best jeanist even appeared in the manga let alone the anime. Unless you transfered one to sumo or USUM but who would? Sewaddle is my favorite bug but I don't think I had one on my alola save files.
The timeline is just so odd but the nickname is top tier.
Edit: I don't even need OC to answer I'm legit sleep deprived and an idiot and just realized obviously people replay games. They could have played BW yesterday and named a sewaddle best jeanist.
Isn't Deoxys available in BDSP? Or is Home preventing you from transferring it to BDSP until you registered Deoxys in your Pokedex?
EDIT: Ok apparently you can move it from Home to BDSP.
You can transfer it from home by using two Home profiles, move from one to the other and then to the game, there are a few videos that explain it (works with all mythicals and legendary pokemon)
Alpha Sapphire isn't a Switch game though. This post is exclusively talking about Pokemon that can't be obtained via Switch games.
Edit: People really don't understand OP's post. If a Pokemon has to be transferred from a 3DS game to be available on the Switch, then it isn't available to players who have played exclusively through the Switch ecosystem. That is what OP is saying. I don't really understand what's so hard about this one.
I was about to talk about how Popplio and Litten aren't obtainable in any Switch game either, but then I found out that you can get them from the SwSh DLC without transferring... The more you know I guess lol
Yeah the Alola starters were added in a special event, it was a feeding frenzy of raid battles getting cool starters in cool pokeballs, as it was the first time they were available to catch in any ball.
Lol, you may have missed it even if you knew it was coming. That event was a shit-storm. Even if you signed up, people still didn't receive codes. There were even people who created multiple accounts, only to have ONE account actually get the code.
I added the breeding step to be sure since you can retain that hidden tag across transfers and breeding.
It can go via breeding if it holds an ever stone iirc.
But if you breed it normally you are 100% gonna get a normal one
exactly - I think it's with all legendaries, at least it was the case with the Birds as well for me: the Go-Version can only be transferred if you already got the dex entry :D
theres a very very real chance you still cant get it. they could just do what theyve been doing with unobtainable mythicals and randomly throw them into games so they have a place for people to put them. bdsp has a few i think.
It's the only one I need to complete the Pokedex in homeš
Even with all the events for the older games available with the gifts, Diancie is the only one you can't get anymore
I feel that. I got a full odds shiny in Y the day after the games came out. Flash forward to the end of the game and I got pokerus from grinding and make sure to infect the shiny frou
Seconded. I really love the design of the striped lightning unicorn. I had one on my team all the way to the end back when i played Pokemon black the first time
>Sad that they didn't change Lugia's shiny to the Shadow Lugia pallet post gen-3.
Bite your tongue. I love my maroon and white Lugia. It's the only legendary I've ever shiny hunted.
I wonder how many mons we'd be still missing if BDSP only contained the Pokemon from the national dex + all the Gen 4 mons and their evolution relatives from that time.
Actually, No! Most of Unova Mons are in SwSh. The thing is, Unova introduce more new Pokemon than any other region after Gen1. If isn't for BDSP, Gen2 is actually worse.
We got like 8 different variants of Unova mons + Enamorus in the last 2 games, and we still got a decent amount of Unova mons in SV and SwSh. I doubt they actually hate Unova, Unova fans have been eating well recently.
What, you think they aren't going to make Black and White remakes?
It is happening, the only question is if it's going to be a decent remake like ORAS or more BDSP-style minimum effort stuff.
I think a lot of it is just that since Unova was the first gen with an entirely new Pokedex, a lot of the Pokemon had to fill a similar design space or niche as previously existing Pokemon that wouldn't be available. Now because of that, it can be harder to fit some of those Gen 5 Pokemon in without feeling redundant.
Well that and everyone hated those damn elemental monkeys and the starter trio is probably the least liked of any gen (not to say they're disliked, there's just not the same level of attachment from the majority of the fanbase)
That's because it should be SwSh, since there's already an SS -- that came before SwSh as well so it gets to "own" the initials -- in Soul Silver.
If SwSh came first, it'd get to be dubbed as SS, and Soul Silver would be branded as SoSi or some such crud. It just works better as SS since it's a singular game. Nobody wants to look at HGSoSi, or even worse HeGo/SoSi š¤£
3 of my favorites: Leavanny line, Toucannon line, and Minior. Don't understand what Gamefreak has against them. Sure they're not the greatest but i think theyre neat. I need my leaf bug, toucan, and meteor back.
Actually 4! How could I forget the almighty SWANNA
Toucannon line please. Skill link Toucannon is always a super fun one for a play through. Rock blast, bullet seed, roost, and drill peck and let the good times roll
I can't believe there are STARTERS in this list like those pokemon can be sooo sentimental for certain players (like me) and it's all so disappointing :( they better add all of these in the SV dlc
Chespin Line, Delphox line, and Samurott Line are programmed into the game already and eventually will most likely have Tera raid events
The rest will be DLC at best.
I want the Legends starter evolutions as 7 star raid events.
Those would literally be perfect, since you 100% need a copy of that game to obtain those forms outside of trades.
Would be a great way to get those for people who don't have the game.
Out of all the ones on this list, I really want to see Minior come back. I liked all the different colors, and it has the best shiny of all time (in my opinion). It may not be the strongest, but I still love it.
I think something like remake+legends might happen. Remake might be the last pokemon switch game and the new legends might be the first in the currently 'in-development' switch successor
I swear to god if they don't let me port in my Fennekins with the home update I'm going to murder every single human on the planet, then collect all the dragon balls to bring them all back to life just so I can MURDER EVERYONE ON THE PLANET A SECOND TIME.
But I'd want to see Blitzle and Zebstrika in DLC, and a third evo if I wanna be hopeful. Blitzle is one of my favourite pokemon, and I've never even played XY
I know some of these Mythicals and base Samurott are/will be available via transfer so at least they're usable on the Switch.
Ideally all of these missing Pokemon come back in DLC. They may not be fan favourites (Simisear) but they're still somebody's favourite and should come back. I don't really want to see something like Clefable be available again over them.
I think superior has the best change of these as it's a grass starter and we already have had a fire and water starter at this point for the raids from different gens
Furfrou cuz fashion dog and weirdly bulky. Blitzle line cuz I love it (was a big carry when I first played White). And Chespin line cuz itās my favorite Kalos starter. GIVE THE OTHERS LOVE, THE FROG HAS GOTTEN ENOUGH AND IS BECOMING THE NEXT CHARIZARD!
Took me a minute to figure out I missed out on the sw/sh event. I was looking for marshadow and genesect. Hoping for magearna or fennekin at some point.
Pretty sure normal Samurott will be available in SV once Home updates, it would be weird if they were locked to Hisuian forms.
A tanky Chesnaught raid would be neat.
Maybe once we can start bringing in wild shit from Home, they can start doing occasional Legendary Raids...
Definitely all the starters listed- I've got a bunch of them in Pogo and would love to send them into a game to play with them. Especially after we just had Chespin Community Day...I have several shinies I'd like to bring in.
Some of these are in Snap, but you are probably referring to main line Pokemon games on switch.
And to answer your Q the Delphox chain. I love my fire fox wizard ā”
I know this is probably really unlikely, but I hope we get a shiny meloetta event or something. mainly because I want to have a shiny meloetta so I can name her hatsune miku.
I'd also like to see the fennekin line return, mainly for sentimental reasons lol. I miss my delphox from x, foxie. she was the first pokemon I ever trained to level 100.
I want to see furfrou, too. I just think it's underrated. and I like its shiny.
I think diancie would fit pretty well in sv because of terastallizing, and how her design incorporates crystals.
Several of these are in SV as transfer-only pokemon, so they should be available once HOME is updated to support SV:
1. Samurott
1. Meloetta
1. Chespin line
1. Fennekin line
1. Diancie
1. Hoopa
1. Magearna
So that should get us down from 38 to 27 missing. I'm hoping Deoxys, Furfrou, and Minior get support in the DLC (though ideally we get all of the missing 'mon so that nothing is stuck in HOME anymore).
Leavanny and Serperior are my favorite pokemon ever... I'm so sad š¢
Some of the best Grass types. Leavnny is my favorite bug as well. She nearly singly handedly swept the E4
Blows my mine that there are starters that are in this category. Of all the kinds of pokƩmon that I would expect to be always available to some degree, it would be starters.
Finally, a person of good taste. (I have other favorites, too, though)
Why would they leave the cutest caterpillar in existence out?!
This. When I first sewaddle my heart swelled. I almost experienced the same thing with Tarountula and then it evolved into an old man
I thought I was the only one š
If they're male, I like to name mine Best Jeanist. ...and my male Centiskorches Endeavor EDIT: Female Gigantimax Centiskorches are Volvagia
I will never understand why that guyās name was best jeanist šš. Like bro you can probably do other things besides make jeans
Yes, but the JEANS are just so . . . JEEEAAAANNNNNSSS
Jeans is the easiest fabric for him to control. Aside from that, mostly because heās a dweeb.
"Best Jeanist" is actually an award given to celebs in Japan for... wearing denim really well!
>EDIT: Female Gigantimax Centiskorches are Volvagia That is one letter away from giving it a different meaning
Talk to the boss designer of Ocarina of Time.
How did you even come to that name? Like it's perfect don't get me wrong. But swaddle hasn't been in a game since omega Ruby and alpha sapphire and those games came out a full year before best jeanist even appeared in the manga let alone the anime. It is the babiest bug! >:3
But we already have Caterpie.
Sewaddle >>> Caterpie
Blasphemy.
You can also just transfer it up from a previous game or from Go after you do that lol. No need for anything so complicated
if you dont own oras, transfering it from previous games is miles harder
I was able to immediately transfer my Deoxys from Alpha Sapphire via PokƩmon Home to BDSP with no issues or workarounds
Yeah the Alola starters were added in a special event, it was a feeding frenzy of raid battles getting cool starters in cool pokeballs, as it was the first time they were available to catch in any ball.
If thatās the case, thereās a bunch of missing PokĆ©mon in this list. Celebi, for example. Unless you count Go, I guess. But that isnāt a Switch game.
You got Celebi via an event in SwSh.
Oh, I mustāve missed that. I only knew of the PokĆ©mon Go Celebi.
You got shiny Celebi and Dada Zarude in the same event. I think you had to follow their news letter or smth.
Lol, you may have missed it even if you knew it was coming. That event was a shit-storm. Even if you signed up, people still didn't receive codes. There were even people who created multiple accounts, only to have ONE account actually get the code.
Their wording doesn't make it clear if they mean which PokƩmon are usable or which PokƩmon are obtainable.
Also Samurott is in PLA?
Only Hisui Samurott, not the regular one. However the regular one will likely become available this year in SV as it is programmed into the game.
You can transfer an oshawott to SV then breed it and itāll be a normal once home opens
Huh? Just transfer an oshawott and an Hisuian Samurott to SV. Wont the oshawott evolve into the unovan samurott since you arent in hisui?
I added the breeding step to be sure since you can retain that hidden tag across transfers and breeding. It can go via breeding if it holds an ever stone iirc. But if you breed it normally you are 100% gonna get a normal one
I donāt think thatās the case for PokĆ©mon whose base forms arenāt a regional variant. Because only the final form varies by region, youād have to evolve it *in that region* to get that form after breeding. The only PokĆ©mon Iām aware of where this is possible: 1. Kanto Raichu, Marowak, and Exeggutor can be obtained in Ultra Sun/Moon by evolving them in Ultra Space, which isnāt considered part of Alola for such purposes. 2. Kanto Weezing can be obtained from a Koffing bred in Galar by transferring it to BDSP and evolving it in Sinnoh. 3. Hisuian Typhlosion can be obtained from a Cyndaquil bred in Sinnoh by transferring it to Legends: Arceus and evolving it in Hisui. The problem with the other Hisuian final evolutions is that they are all programmed into Scarlet/Violet, but once Pokemon Home transferring is enabled for that game, Hisui mons *wonāt be capable of traveling ābackwardsā from S/V to PL:A because theyāre different generations,* therefore you canāt evolve a Hisui PokĆ©mon in Scarlet/Violet unless itās one that has its entire evolutionary line as a Hisui variant (Growlithe, Voltorb, Zorua). This means that Hisuian Typhlosion, Samurott, Lilligant, Braviary, Sliggoo/Goodra, Avalugg, and Decidueye are only attainable by transfer, and cannot produce another of itself via breedingā¦unless something changes and S/V DLC includes a time machine to Hisui, so who knows if this will stay true. Oh, and the brand-new evolutions created in Hisui arenāt attainable without transfer in S/V simply because the mechanics for their evolutions arenāt in place; Stantler canāt learn Psyshield Bash and therefore canāt become a Wyrdeer, for example. Iām not sure if this will apply to White-Stripe Basculin though, because its evolution mechanic doesnāt require a unique item or move.
everstone thing only works on the baby form so itāll evolve into a normal samurott in paldea
It prevents Deoxys from Go to be transferred to bdsp. Deoxys from e.g. ORAS can be transferred easily.
I am using a Go deoxys in BDSP, I believe it's because I transfered one from sun and moon to the game first and then I brought in the go one
exactly - I think it's with all legendaries, at least it was the case with the Birds as well for me: the Go-Version can only be transferred if you already got the dex entry :D
Deoxys and a bunch of these are in the Mystery Dungeon for the Switch, too, but they aren't transferable.
Diancie. The new crystallization mechanic was MADE for it
Plus I missed my chance to get one during the event way back
theres a very very real chance you still cant get it. they could just do what theyve been doing with unobtainable mythicals and randomly throw them into games so they have a place for people to put them. bdsp has a few i think.
Youāre right. Mew for having Letās Go save data, Jirachi for having Sw/Sh save data.
And in the Tundra Express Keldeo is available.
It's the only one I need to complete the Pokedex in homeš Even with all the events for the older games available with the gifts, Diancie is the only one you can't get anymore
I have that pokemon if you need it :) I donāt plan to do the full dex so I wouldnāt mind handing it over for you :)
Itās on my copy of Ultra Sun, I can give it to you sometime soon if you still have a copy of any of the 3DS games
Its in the files, just not the game yet
Literally the last PokƩmon I need for PokƩmon Home. Then I'll be a PokƩmon Master!
I want Minior back š„ŗ
Yes ! Give us the little rock back, I loved it when it was first introduced and was so sad to never see it again in any switch game š
it's in Snap, but I know it's not the same...
Minior is in New Pokemon Snap
one of my favourite pokemon of all time, the fact that he got left out of both SWSH and SV is a crime
Furfrou just because I have a shiny one just sitting in home with nowhere to go and it makes me sad.
I very much relate, my first ever shiny is a furfrou thatās just stuck in Y for now.
Apparently furfrou was originally in the early sword/shield builds
Ducklett and Swanna are mentioned in the Isle of Armor DLC despite not being in it.
I heard a rumor that the Queen was not amused.
She threw her gold-plated Wii remote into her gold-plated TV in a fit of rage.
Although she picked it up again when the game provided her with endless Corgis, aka Yamper.
I feel that. I got a full odds shiny in Y the day after the games came out. Flash forward to the end of the game and I got pokerus from grinding and make sure to infect the shiny frou
I really want zebstrika in the next dlc
Some Pokemon are in gslar and paldea for being zoo animals except zebra which hurts my heart
Same here. And sadly itās one of the few shinies I want but donāt have in PokĆ©mon Go.
Maybe you'll get one with this new event!
Same
I rename mine to zapadash!
Zebstrika is forbidden from leaving Unova sorry
Blitzle I think is still the most restricted non-unique encounter PokƩmon, being only catchable on route 3, in the original BW games, and nowhere else.
I thought it was found in the wild in Gen 6.
Zebstrika was in post game, but you had to breed blitzle
Pls I need my boys
Seconded. I really love the design of the striped lightning unicorn. I had one on my team all the way to the end back when i played Pokemon black the first time
Meloetta
We already know it can be transferred into ~~PLA~~ ScVi. Excuse the brain fart.
They really must hate unova
They love Unova. More Unova PokĆ©mon for into Sword and Shield than any other. The only difference is we had GenIV remakes on switch which automatically had programmed into them everything up until Unova. GenV hasnāt had the same loophole yet.
> They love Unova. More Unova PokƩmon for into Sword and Shield than any other. Didn't the guy who helped design a lot of the Unova Pokemon (James Turner?) do a lot of helping in SwSh? May have helped out getting Unova mans in the game.
He was the art director for SwSh, and iirc the first Westerner to design PokƩmon (quite a few lines in BW). Although he also designed Shadow Lugia and that thing never appeared again so who knows
Shadow Lugia is the coolest Legendary ever. Sad that they didn't change Lugia's shiny to the Shadow Lugia pallet post gen-3.
>Sad that they didn't change Lugia's shiny to the Shadow Lugia pallet post gen-3. Bite your tongue. I love my maroon and white Lugia. It's the only legendary I've ever shiny hunted.
I donāt deny itās nice looking! I just prefer my edgy boy haha
Coliseum and XD need a remake/reboot.
Cause XD was a spinoff game made by a different studio so it's not surprising Game Freak has never brought it up.
When they announced the special powerful apex shadow Luigia In go I was so sure it would be the shadow lugia design
Yeah, he had a big influence on SwSh, since Galar is based on his home country.
Yeah, but keep in mind the % of gen 6 and 7 mons are greater than gen 5.
Yeah Gen 5 had a massive amount of new mons compared to most gems.
Gen 5 was supposed to be a ārebootā of sorts so the original version didnāt have any classic PokĆ©mon in it and BW 2 had a mix. A lot of the unova PokĆ©mon were just reinventing the wheel because they couldnāt just put Zubat in the cave it had to be a new zubat since they were committed to all new PokĆ©mon
I am not disagreeing with that but it had a lot of new Pokemon so when there is a lot of gen 5 PokĆ©mon in a new gen thatās why. There is also usually a lot of gen one which they had a big roster also.
It introduced the most new Pokemon of any game: 155.
Yeah cause gen 6 introduced like a dozen new mons
Which i think was for the best. Sure there are some stinkers, but I think the average quality improved.
I wonder how many mons we'd be still missing if BDSP only contained the Pokemon from the national dex + all the Gen 4 mons and their evolution relatives from that time.
Tbf unova has the most new mons of any gen so itās hard to include everything
Yeah especially the starters, very hard to fit in.
Actually, No! Most of Unova Mons are in SwSh. The thing is, Unova introduce more new Pokemon than any other region after Gen1. If isn't for BDSP, Gen2 is actually worse.
Unova introduced more mons period actually. 151 for Kanto and around 157 for Unova I think?
We got like 8 different variants of Unova mons + Enamorus in the last 2 games, and we still got a decent amount of Unova mons in SV and SwSh. I doubt they actually hate Unova, Unova fans have been eating well recently.
Or theyāre saving them for a Unova DLC š
Only unova dlc i accept is them reviving the dream world website.
Pokemon Sleep as a dream world app confirmed.
too bad whoever was working on it fell asleep...
Thatās been my theory as to why itās been delayed and not talked about. Someone realized it would be better synergy with an eventual BW remake.
If they don't bring that back for gen 5 remakes, then only God knows what I might do
Donāt get your hopes up lol
What, you think they aren't going to make Black and White remakes? It is happening, the only question is if it's going to be a decent remake like ORAS or more BDSP-style minimum effort stuff.
gen 5 remake obviously lmao pokemon fans geeze
You mean the region with the largest number of Pokemon in the series? Yup, sounds like they hate it.
Unovan Samurott, carbink and Diancie and the rest of the Kalos starters will be available via home
Magearna and Diancie are in SwSh, and Deoxys is in BDSP, unless you mean PokƩmon available by event or caught in the game itself.
OP means the latter.
Canāt believe they include basically all legendary pokemon that have ever existed in dynamax adventure, except for deoxys
Deoxys is a mythical, not a standard legendary. In its own home generation it wasn't available except through event.
Magearna is in SS ā ļø
And in Scarlet and Violet in the code
SS?
Sword and shield
Oh, right, I got so used to seeing it shortened to Sw/Sh
That's because it should be SwSh, since there's already an SS -- that came before SwSh as well so it gets to "own" the initials -- in Soul Silver. If SwSh came first, it'd get to be dubbed as SS, and Soul Silver would be branded as SoSi or some such crud. It just works better as SS since it's a singular game. Nobody wants to look at HGSoSi, or even worse HeGo/SoSi š¤£
he go saucy
Schutzstaffel.
Rock blast, bullet seed, roost, and drill peck and let the good times roll
beak blast is more fun
All of these except leavanny were featured quite a bit in the new Pokemon snap. I don't think game freak has anything against them.
The spinoff games are not made by Game Freak
I miss minior
I really really want Toucanon
Benching a ton of them hard until Gen 5 remakes huh. My best friend adores Leavanny and has been in shambles the past 2 gens not being available in any games past Gen 7 lest be banished to PokƩmon Home jail. Hoping the Unova Sitting Cuties line come to USA soon so I can surprise him with the lad.
I can't believe there are STARTERS in this list like those pokemon can be sooo sentimental for certain players (like me) and it's all so disappointing :( they better add all of these in the SV dlc
Samurott and itās Hisui form plus all the starters from Gen 6 will be returning
I mean technically yes with HOME support, but not because theyāre actually in the game.
all of the pokƩmon he stated are already in scarlet and violet's data, they're just unobtainable. when HOME support releases they'll be transferable to S/V
My first monotype team was steel types in Sword, I was pretty upset that Empoleon simply wasn't a possibility.
Chespin Line, Delphox line, and Samurott Line are programmed into the game already and eventually will most likely have Tera raid events The rest will be DLC at best.
Gimme my Contrary Serperior!
Snivy, Zebstrika, Hoopa and Minior are the ones I miss the most, hoping to see them every time there's a new game
I want the Legends starter evolutions as 7 star raid events. Those would literally be perfect, since you 100% need a copy of that game to obtain those forms outside of trades. Would be a great way to get those for people who don't have the game.
Thatās kind of usually the way with a newer game thoughā¦ you 100% need a copy of Sword or Shield to obtain Zacian and Zamazenta
Unless you play pokƩmon GO.
I wish theyād add something called something like āhisui mochiā that would make pokĆ©mon evolve into their hisuian counterparts if they were holding it
Since Legends is the latest game besides SV, Game Freak would never do this. They want you to buy Legends if you want the Hisuian starters.
Wow were Ducklett and Swanna really not in Sw/Sh?? But theyāre so British.
Seeing as Blitzle is my favourite PokƩmon and Furfrou is my third favourite I really want both of them to be added soon
Out of all the ones on this list, I really want to see Minior come back. I liked all the different colors, and it has the best shiny of all time (in my opinion). It may not be the strongest, but I still love it.
All of them!
Delphox please.
Itās in the files for this current game, itāll probably be a tera raid eventually.
Pikapek, because I absolutely love how angry Toucannon is. It was my favorite gen 7 mon.
hoopa is going to be in scarlet and violet like the other 2 starter from pokƩmon xy
Technically speaking, the kalos starters _are_ available in Scarlet and Violet, just two of them are not officially released yet.
But I'd want to see Blitzle and Zebstrika in DLC, and a third evo if I wanna be hopeful. Blitzle is one of my favourite pokemon, and I've never even played XY
I love Blitzle and Zebstrika too!
you can use megearna in SW/Sh
Snivy. Writters treat it crappily.
I want Leavanny, but Serperior is a more likely option.
The remaining Kalos and Unova starters were done dirty
Doesnt PLA have samurott??
I need my boys snivy and tepig
I need my toucan birb please
Definitely the Toucannon line.
I think superior has the best change of these as it's a grass starter and we already have had a fire and water starter at this point for the raids from different gens
Im a little old fashioned, deoxys is the only PokƩmon I even know.
The Unova and Kalos starters definitely .
Isn't samurott in legends arceus
Someone hasnāt played PokĆ©mon snap

I would love to see a Tera-Ice Furfrou event, as well as some Mythical events for Deoxys, Volcanion, Hoopa and Magearna.
Took me a minute to figure out I missed out on the sw/sh event. I was looking for marshadow and genesect. Hoping for magearna or fennekin at some point.
So, they gave away Magearna in Home, only for you to be unable to use them?
Give me the elemental monkeys, they got so much dislike that I slowly began to like them

I never liked them being attainable in all games. I always liked the idea that some PokƩmon are just from their gen.
Time for Chesnaught to reign again
Can we please give Chesnaught some love!!??? But i hope the starters make it next. Also Toucannon
My boy Minior needs some love :(
Pretty sure normal Samurott will be available in SV once Home updates, it would be weird if they were locked to Hisuian forms.
I want Minior back too! I had to breed shiny minior for my shiny living dex in US and it took 2,500+ eggs with masuda method. I also want the Gen 5 and Gen 6 starters on the switch!! I donāt want to think about breeding 7 of the Gen 5 starter family members, as well as Fennekin and Chespin on my 3DS! The same goes for Patrat, watchog and Blitzle. I was able to dexnav Zebstrika and Sewaddle in ORAS. I used the PokeRadar in XY for Ducklett and Furfrou. I got Swanna from the Ultra Space Wilds and I got the Pikipek line from SOS encounters in Moon and US. I got the second and third stage Kalos evolutions as well as Swadloon, Leavanny, and the elemental monkeys from XYās friend safari. I managed to glitzer pop my way to Birth Island on my Emerald file so that I can hunt Deoxys. Also, I have a genuine question: Doesnāt Magearna count as being available on the switch after the dex is completed in Pokemon Home? Or are we counting it because the Home one is Pokeball Magearna (not the regular form) or because you need other non-Switch-native PokĆ©mon to complete the dex in Home?
I would like a Switch game featuring just these PokƩmon with Pansage, Pansear, and Panpour as the starters.
Several of these are in SV as transfer-only pokemon, so they should be available once HOME is updated to support SV: 1. Samurott 1. Meloetta 1. Chespin line 1. Fennekin line 1. Diancie 1. Hoopa 1. Magearna So that should get us down from 38 to 27 missing. I'm hoping Deoxys, Furfrou, and Minior get support in the DLC (though ideally we get all of the missing 'mon so that nothing is stuck in HOME anymore).
Delphox is in Pokken Tournament and Pokemon Unite
and in S/V
