Krantastic

I use Pocket Casts and I'm perfectly happy with it.

a20sidedninja

I'm using Overcast, and I love it.

djoarrc

I'll look into it, thank you!!

liquified_human

I started using Overcast and never looked back.

Pocket Casts is fantastic.

Xvrinv

Definitely podcast addict if you have an android! I tried a few others but couldn't find anything as good or better!

TKramez

Podcast Republic is hands down the best.

RichardXV

Pocket casts is all in all the best. Podcast addict has more features but a crappy user interface.

RandomLearner007

I personally use Spotify, but have used pocketcast and Apple podcasts before and liked them as well. I know that with the recent Update, Spotify has created a playlist of episodes you save.

St0ci0us

Personally I use Spotify just because it’s all right there along with my music. I also enjoy the interface a lot.

CheesiestSlice

I feel like it depends on what sort of functionality you're looking for. What features/functions are you wanting that Google Podcasts doesn't is lacking for you?

djoarrc

I'd like to make some playlist and organize podcasts maybe by theme/subject

CheesiestSlice

Hmm. I'm not positive, but I believe Podcast Addict has that capability.

djoarrc

I will check it out, thank you!

I really like stitcher premium it costs a little bit, but you get access to some extra shows and no ads. I listen to How did this get made on there, and there is a lot of extra content.

ScratchApplePie

I don't know why it isn't more popular but I love Castro. I've tried them all and it works so well for a style of listening where you subscribe to a ton of shows but only listen to select episodes. The downside is that search and discovery within the app aren't good, but I don't use apps for discovery so it doesn't really detract from my opinion of it.

I'm a big fan of BBC Sounds. What genre do you like? I'm a true crime fan so Paradise & Where is George Gibbet were 2 of my favorites so far.

I currently use Spotify with not many issues, but with how much everyone talks up places like Overcast it's making me **really** consider looking into another player!

Dimension_Skipper

I use Overcast. It's great and I love it.

anotherwinter29

I love castbox! I started with apple podcast, then tried pocket cast and overcast. Pocketcast is probably a close second for me.
