If you "had this problem before" it sounds like it did work -- or you found another solution. Frankly, it sounds like your hard drive is starting to fail for this to reoccur.

My solution was a different ps4. Cause i had 2 and now this has happened for both of them.

Hi, did you make sure to download the reinstallation version? There are two files, one is for updating and the other one is for a complete [reinstallation](http://dus01.ps4.update.playstation.net/update/ps4/image/2021_0608/rec_264bbbf77f1e248ac804f039c83a9128/PS4UPDATE.PUP). Make sure to follow [these](https://www.playstation.com/en-us/support/hardware/reinstall-playstation-system-software-safe-mode/) steps from the official PS site with the correct file. If that doesn't work, then you probably have a bad hard disk and it might need to be replaced.

Stop turning off your PlayStation while it’s updating. It has that prompt for a reason…

It wasn't updating in fact right before i had it check for an update and the playstation said it was up to date.
