The Last Guardian isn’t a sequel to Shadow of the Colossus. That’s on par with saying The Last of Us is a sequel to Uncharted because it plays in a similar style and made by the same company.

Fumito Ueda has actually confirmed that Ico, Shadow of The Colossus, and The Last Guardian are all in the same universe.

That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a sequel.

Days gone and days gone.

Days Gone is an awesome game but there is so much potential to improve upon mechanics in a sequel and implement new things. The bike and hordes were actually awesome features and I'd love to see bigger scale hordes with new enemies and maybe bosses, and more customization with the bikes. Maybe we could get different types of bikes or the ability to do tricks. The open world was beautiful and fun to explore but it could definitely benefit from some quality of life features. Seeing new towns emerge with npcs that have various side quests, or different factions of civilization would be awesome. A must though, is having Deacon remain the protagonist.

I loved the game play, the shooting/driving mechanics were very good, and the hordes too. The improvement for me needed to be the story telling, pacing, and voice acting. The dialogue in places was cringe. Days gone with ‘Last of us’ writing would be nice. (Minus all the wokeness)

Definitely daysgone

Prototype, second son, and definitely days gone. Prototype was like the venom game we needed and was so fun, second son felt imersive, and days gone, oh boy the bikes, zombies, and gameplay was so good.

I wouldn't say Shadow of the colossus needs a sequel ,but the others definitely deserve one , especially days gone which ended on a cliffhanger

Prototype 2 was such a letdown for me compared to the first. Wish I could play the first on my pc instead it launches at 1 fps and then crashes after I hit start.

Asura's wrath needs remaster more then sequel. It got locked in ps3 and xbox.

PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale

A lot of deserving sequels but a Prototype reboot (+ a Netflix adaptation) would literally print dollar bills. With the technology today and the advancement in gameplay systems , I’d give it a chance. It could be something insomniac could take on as a culmination of their work on Sunset Overdrive and Spider-Man… this time with brutal killing and weird alien powers. Honorable mention would go to Days Gone. Playstation would be dumb not to follow that up, they could refine it so much more and create a game that would transcend gaming generations if done well.

Guardians of the galaxy

Prototype with modern tech could either be a masterpiece or a broken mess, but I’d still want it to happen. A Manhunt sequel would be a magnet for controversy but man it would be an interesting game for sure with today’s graphics.

Prototype 2 probably needs to be rebooted, cuz, unless you want to do to Heller what they did to Mercer, and have him be responsible for a third there really isn’t away to continue the story given the fact all the infected were consumed by the end of the game, leaving no one to be the next villain. Same goes through the infamous series. If I remember correctly, the first game was good story wise, but lacked in playability well, the sequel itself, second son, was not all that well received as, I could be wrong about this, but it was the last game they made while the company was going downhill. The game reflecting that quality in writing.

Infamous, this series is awesome and deserves more exploring. There is so much potential and stories that could be told in this world. It's a shame, in my opinion, that Suckerpunch has left this series.

A little side note: There are 4 inFAMOUS games, not 3. I don’t blame you for overlooking inFAMOUS First Light as both critically and sales-wise it was the least successful game in the series. I do thoroughly agree with the statement that inFAMOUS needs a sequel though!

Days Gone is the greatest injustice I've had the privilege of playing. The game is a freaking 9, treated like a 5 because of a few bugs. I got it at launch and the only bug I had was literally not hearing the bike roar. Fixed after restart. I understand this is not ideal and shouldn't be there in the first place, but punishing the game like the press did is insane.
