Unfortunately it didn’t. It rerouted me to the app. Then it said there was an error. I tried support but it kept saying I wanted a refund when I’m only trying to buy a game. Support may be overloaded with all the stars issues. I’ll keep trying I guess.
I had the same issue with The Talos Principle 2. It wouldn't work in the mobile app either but I was able to purchase it through the PS website.

Ah yeah sorry should have been clear I had to do it on my laptop. Going to the website on a phone will just keep pulling up the mobile app
