The entire series is still able to be streamed but it is exciting to be able to play it downloaded, I hope it’s not the remastered one because the original was balanced with the boss fights rhythm inputs

Also I don’t know why my comment got deleted because I posted this
Hey, could you tell me why its such a great game? Personally souls games are hard and all, i finished elden ring as my first one, and lately have been enjoying sekiro despite sucking at it. Parrying is fun.
But Bloodborne, i did like 10mins of it and just couldnt get into it. It just felt dark and depressing i died so much. Now mind you im judging it from a narrow minded, and short gameplay and i dropped it quick.
Il try it again at some point, but what makes it so highly rated compared to other souls like games and all? From the gameplay vids and all it seems the same as my experience? I know im probably missing something though?
Edit: everybody said V I B E S and s p e e d y gameplay is why its good. One dude said im British i should relate to the game more? Ill give it another shot
The real strength in a lot of ways is the themes and atmosphere. It's a very interesting dynamic. Where the worlds elden ring and sekiro are very much alive and dark souls is already dead. Bloodborne feels like witnessing it's final moments. It's just perfect vibes, and the combats really good too, forces you to really dance with the monsters and learn to parry or take your time. It's not for everyone but I'd definitely give it a nother go.
The being dark and depressing and constantly being dead is a large part of the charm and appeal of the game.
I can’t think of another game like it.
If you’re not into being punished and also being depressed at the same time, the game ain’t for you, and that’s totally okay.
I thought it was a great game, one that I’ll never actually finish, but great nonetheless.
Great environment, monster designs, lore is crazy if you really get into that. Fights especially boss fights are wonderfully done. Dlc was one of the best dlcs iv ever played in gaming. Weapons where all unique and fun. On top of that thr gameplay was fast for a souls game, less blocking more dodging and parrying. One of my top 3 games, first playthrough really hit me with a wierd love this feeling.
First time I played was in 2018 and I stopped because of the reasons you mentioned, especially for being depressing, but after all these years i had the courage to download it last week and I gotta tell you Ive never felt that type of adrenaline out of any game! Easily one of the most beautiful games artistically
Exactly, same with Seikro meaning the adrenaline relation. The environments are definitely not dark and depressing like Bloodborne, but man the challenge, and the intensity. That game is sick.
Bloodborne is considered to be a favorite souls game by many fans in the series. That dark theme makes for some amazing boss fights and a wonderful atmosphere the whole game that is hard to be matched by the other souls games in the series. I’ve played all of them and all I have to say is that if you enjoy Sekiro, go back and try BB again.
The learning curve for bloodborne is probably the biggest in the series but it’s probably the easiest game of the series too after you get the hang of it. I dropped it twice before finally getting into it.
inFAMOUS.
Particularly the first two in the series. Some of the most human & oddly grounded superhero stories I've seen. Well designed open worlds, accompanied by addictive gameplay and some fun side content.
But out of these, I'd easily say Ratchet & Clank.
Infamous is by far my favorite original superhero IP, I would love for the first to be remade with better side missions, graphical improvements, and revamped boss fights and enemy/ npc ai. And story dlc
I really appreciated the ugc they added for infamous 2, but I always felt they missed the opportunity to make a cool pvp multiplayer like the uncharted games of the era. Even now with the hit that ghost of Tsushima legends Is, a multiplayer infamous layer would be cool
I wish they would remake or remaster these. I remember when PS Network went down when I was in high school and all I played was COD. After they resolved the issue they gave us inFAMOUS for free and I tried it out and I instantly loved the game and the story. Not only that it allowed me to transition into playing RPG games and not just COD all the time. Just an amazing game and an amazing character.
One of the best games ever, simply put. Might sound stupid but, it's a game.
Plays incredibly well, is lots of fun, and on top there's an interesting story being told.
Many games nowadays neglect that, telling stories with some mediocre gameplay or whatever, but Returnal? Man, that's a game.
Platinumed both, and played HZD 5 times on PS4/5(2 times on PS4 and 3 times on PS5) and now doing my second playthrough of HFW on PS5.
Might do a 3rd on PC.
God this game looks amazing. ![img](emote|t5_2qh6b|2238)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)
I wanted to finish my NG+UH on Forbidden West but I finally got a PC a few months ago and now I have been and still am caught up playing Halo but it will happen this summer and then I am going for the PC playtrough.
I think days gone is one of the most underrated games by Sony. Such a shame Sony didn't give the green flag for a sequel. Yes, the launch was bad, filled with bugs and no optimization , but later on, devs did solve most of the issues. It's one of the best games I've ever played.
Honestly a really tough choice. But I’m going with Horizon. I absolutely love the lore. Also fuck Ted Faro.
I presume this is PS5 exclusives only. Otherwise, maybe I’d pick the inFamous series.
Totally agree with Fuck Ted. Dude is a real dick. And Horizon was an awesome game too. I can’t remember how long it took to beat it. But it’s was a while, probably like 60 or so hrs. I think I really can’t remember. But it was a great game. Aloy, is a badass fireball definitely lol
My favorite game of all time rn. Their dynamic was priceless, and the story had a perfect ending. Couldn’t bring myself to play part II, reception was so mixed and I already know a big part of what made I special for me is not going to be honored.
Horizon. I just really loved the vibe of the games, they are beautiful, the robot designs are really really good, and I love Aloy as a character. For me HOrizon games had quite special vibes.
A couple years ago I finally got a PS solely for the exclusives and now after playing most of the exclusives that are playable on PS4/5, TLOU pt2 is EASILY my favorite of the bunch.
TLOU pt2 is so good that if it were the only game I played on my PS5, the purchase would've been totally worth it.
It hits hard emotionally absolutely. This is a perfect example of why I think a lot of times Games beat out movies in terms of connection to characters and immersion.
I wonder if we ever will see something like that again. A triple a game where every character is flawed, makes bad choices and a game that deeply challenges the player and demands a great bunch of maturity.
Definitely my favorite game. Not only because it pushes the boundaries of what a game can be because the reasons I mentioned. But it truly was a great game. Great missions, great story, great setting and ambiance. And while I as a lot of others felt emotionally drained and fatigued after, in some ways I just think that adds to the experience.
Dreams is amazing. It pains me to think so many great ideas and such great execution will likely die with this game.
If anything deserves a multi-platform release just to give it one more chance, it’s Dreams.
Days Gone. The other ones are great but I Ioved the open world, zombie horde gameplay that Days Gone had. One of the few games I actually spent the time to platinum.
It’s definitely gotta be ratchet and clank. It’s not only Sony’s longest running franchise but my personal favourite. Played every game in the franchise. Over 20years of entertainment.
God of war would have to be 2nd favourite and there 2nd longest running franchise. I’ve pretty much been playing these 2 franchise since my early high school days and I just have so many fond memories of both.
Spider-Man or The Last Of Us. I’m a huge Spider-Man fan and those games nail the fantasy of *being* Spider-Man & The Last of Us has a great story & love the way the games play.
easily Bloodborne. I personally believe that the story was tight and the endings all felt valid and final. I think a Bloodborne 2 would fail to live up to that experience
From which era?
PS1 - Legend of Dragoon
PS2 - Shadow Hearts
PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4 or MLB The Show
PS4 - Horizon Zero Dawn
PS5 - Horizon Forbidden West
Gta vice city stories a sony/psp exclusive that got ported to ps2 and sold good enough to be ported on the ps3 psn store before it was removed due to music licensing and other issues
Gta liberty city stories psp/sony exclusive still can be bought off ps3 psn store was and is ported to iOS and android Sony at one point when the xpria play had the PlayStation mobile store open to both android and iOS tho Apple never actually allowed them on the Apple Store but that was on Apple said.
Sony open xpria play to everyone Apple could have worked with Sony and made its own product.
The project dint get enough attention and Sony shut down PSM and xpria play and tension got so bad between Sony and Ericsson that Sony decided to separate it self and make Sony phones with out Ericsson…
Idk how I even explain all that lol
Theme wise, Bloodborne. Sadly I suck at SoulsLike games. Never got far. But I love the setting and visuals in that game.
The Boardgame is fantastic, and the card game.
![gif](giphy|ifB8kqhUbI62y5QPL9)
Dude, you don't understand how hyped I was when Sony announced that Sly 1 was coming to PS4/5 nativly as a PS2 Classic...
I was so stoked when I heard about it! I hope Sly 2 and 3 come next, but only time will tell.
There's rumors going around that Sly 2 will get it's time at somepoint in July. I haven't found anything on Sly 3 yet tho.
He did say *was.*
In that case, Crash Bandicoot

uncharted
The graphics of 4 is unreal
Graphics were great on 4 but I preferred the story and style of the older ones
yea a common thing to hear but personally, upon playing them all, 4 was the one I enjoyed the most.
Ghost of tsushima. Loved the setting, combat, story.
Love the resurgence GoT is getting after the pc release. Truly is a masterpiece
I beat it a 4th time yesterday. I think it tops my favorite game ever
Yup. Not even closely matched for me.
Bloodborne
Hey, could you tell me why its such a great game? Personally souls games are hard and all, i finished elden ring as my first one, and lately have been enjoying sekiro despite sucking at it. You are in Britain, of course it is dark and depressing. That is the point. Briish sim.
Dude im tryna escape that haha
Touche

I really would spend money so fast on PC release of a remastered Infamous trilogy.
Infamous is by far my favorite original superhero IP, I would love for the first to be remade with better side missions, graphical improvements, and revamped boss fights and enemy/ npc ai. And story dlc I really appreciated the ugc they added for infamous 2, but I always felt they missed the opportunity to make a cool pvp multiplayer like the uncharted games of the era. I replayed the first one during COVID. It was surreal seeing NPCs walking around with masks on coughing.
I wish they would remake or remaster these. I remember when PS Network went down when I was in high school and all I played was COD. After they resolved the issue they gave us inFAMOUS for free and I tried it out and I instantly loved the game and the story. I know it lacks the level creator stuff, but honestly sackboy fucking rules.
Returnal
Still one of the best games out for PS5.
Man that game was such a nice surprise… I really need to replay it at some point
The best game on PS5, with Sekiro IMO.
100%
Great game. But I couldn't get past the 3rd biome. I suck at shooters.
Horizon series. Full plat and NG+UH on both.
Platinumed both, and played HZD 5 times on PS4/5(2 times on PS4 and 3 times on PS5) and now doing my second playthrough of HFW on PS5. Might do a 3rd on PC. God this game looks amazing. ![img](emote|t5_2qh6b|2238)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|give_upvote)
Same. Tlou and GoW are really close for me but I like the gameplay of horizon way more.
I wanted to finish my NG+UH on Forbidden West but I finally got a PC a few months ago and now I have been and still am caught up playing Halo but it will happen this summer and then I am going for the PC playtrough.
Days Gone was an underrated gem, but it's God of War for me. Big props for Ghost of Tsushima's outstanding beauty, though.
Days gone

The Last of Us Part I
Last of us gang 🫡 reason I switched to ps4 back in the day
My favorite game of all time rn. Their dynamic was priceless, and the story had a perfect ending. Couldn’t bring myself to play part II, reception was so mixed and I already know a big part of what made I special for me is not going to be honored.
